About: Having grown up with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats, chameleons, a ferret and a chinchilla, I have experience with taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes. I currently have three indoor cats, and an Anatolian Sheppard, and a Great Pyrenees. I am second year pharmacy student at home for the summer. I would love to spend my time off from school caring for your favorite fluffy (or otherwise) friend! I have a large yard and a peaceful neighborhood for great walks. My family members will be available to give your pet extra love during the visit.

About: I’ve taken care of small pups to large mastiffs. I have been around dogs of nearly every kind since I was 7. My family currently has an Akita and a Black Lab so I’m used to large puppers that have tons of energy. Currently working part time and in the National Guard so I’ve got lots of free time to care for pets that are in need of attention. Able to walk and take care of your pets in the New Bern/Cherry Point area. Father of 2 children 13 and 10 years old and 2 doggos that are both 4. I also currently hold a secret clearance in the National Guard and coach multiple youth sports. I’m available for the next few weeks to walk doggos in the area. I will be available day and night and can fit the walks into your schedule As a pet walking service, I primarily care for pets in the comfort and safety of our clients’ homes. Understanding that each pet has its own routine, preferences, and personality, so I tailor care to meet unique needs. During each visit or walk, I make sure pets are exercised, mentally stimulated, and given plenty of attention and affection. Also follow any feeding, medication, or special care instructions provided by the owner. Treating every home with the utmost respect—keeping things clean, secure, and following all access instructions closely. If needed, I provide check-ins, updates, and photos to give pet owners peace of mind while they’re away. My goal is to maintain the pet’s normal routine as much as possible to reduce stress and ensure they feel safe and happy in their familiar environment.

About: I always considered myself a "cat person," but when I was 15, my dad adopted a mini Australian Shepherd named Oscar. He was a smart, loving, albeit anxious pup, and I wanted to be with him all the time. Whenever I visited my dad, I loved helping him train and play with Oscar. That was when I really understood dogs as companion animals, and that concept alone helped me become a more patient person. When I was attending college in Rhode Island, I started caring for my friends' pets in their homes whenever they went away for a family trip. It was an awesome time for me to reset and hang out with their cats or dogs since I was unable to have a pet of my own where I was living at the time. During the Covid lockdown until around 2022, I became a live-in pet sitter for my landlady's dog and cats whenever she needed to go between properties. After that, I helped take care of my then roommate's 12-year-old Chocolate Lab and her new Visla-mix puppy after I got home from work in the evenings since she worked late. After years of caring for cats and dogs at home and loving to see my friends' pets whenever we hung out, I only learned about using Rover as a service tool in 2023. Working from home gives me flexibility and the opportunity to stay in my clients' homes while taking care of and supporting their pets full-time. My current schedule is very flexible. I'm a freelance and contract artist, and recently I've been working with the local arts council here in New Bern by hosting drawing sessions every two weeks. Most of my time is spent at home—where I help my grandparents—or at the arts council. To tell you a little more about me: I’m in my late 30s, I'm neurodivergent, and I identify as queer. In my free time I enjoy listening to music, watching animated films, and reading various types of comics. My foremost concern is making sure that you and your pet(s) feel safe with me there and that I am as consistent with their typical routine. In order for me to provide the best care I can, I only ask for a simple task list or feeding plan (either printed out or sent electronically, such as a PDF or Apple Note, etc.) on how to care for your pet and WiFi access. I do my best to be as transparent as possible in an easy, concise, and straight-forward way. Otherwise, I will happily try to accommodate any need for extra communication or photos to send you while you are away. That being said, please make note of the following: - Please do not underreport your pets. - If there is a pet that is not technically owned by you but still resides on your property, it is assumed during the booking process that you are the caretaker of that pet, as I will be responsible for taking care of that pet unless there have been other outside accommodations made. I maintain the right to adjust my rates accordingly. - If there is sufficient evidence for me to believe that any animal within your household and/or property is in need of any care beyond a bare minimum of "feeding and providing water"—especially any pets that have not been properly listed in your bio—I maintain the right to adjust my rates accordingly after our initial meet & greet. - Please divulge any and all indoor and outdoor monitoring systems in which you frequently access remotely. It is your fundamental obligation as the "homeowner," "client," or otherwise, to report any and all monitoring devices inside and outside of your home as well as the frequency with which you will access them remotely. By hiring me as an independent contractor, I maintain my right to object to any remote monitoring by any recording device used in your home while you are not present. - If you have ANY questions or concerns further about using monitoring devices, etc., I am more than happy to discuss them with you during our meet & greet!

About: A little bit about me - My name is Ariel. I’m a North Carolina native, growing up in New Bern. I lived in Asheville for most of my 20s, traveling throughout the United States in the last five years - living in Arizona and Washington state. I’ve had a couple dogs of my own, one being a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, and the other a plott hound mix. I have also fostered a pitty mix. I’ve always been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, even having a snake as a pet! I’ve always been a lover of anything outdoors and LOVED to bring my furry friends along to enjoy the adventures. I am very responsible and dependable when it comes to my commitments. About: I’ve never lived a day without an animal. My family owns 2 Great Danes and a Pit Bull Terrier. 2 of which were trained by me! I love meeting new people and new animals and want to take care of your pets like they’re my own! I currently work Sundays - Tuesday from 3-11pm and accept clients who’s pets are comfortable with being left alone during an 8 hour work shift. About: I previously worked in a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I fed and watered dogs, managed medication, and gave lots of love! Giving oral or topical medication is no stranger and certainly not a problem for me. I am currently a part-time waitress working around 3 days a week. I have lots of time for the dogs, and I miss spending time with them! In a client's home, it would be ideal for them to tell me everything in need to know about their pup, such as medication time (if needed), feeding schedule, likes and dislikes, and personal quirks. At my home, my yard is not fenced in, however, it is 1 acre of land in the back of a neighborhood far from any main roads. Your pup with also be with my dog Manny. He is a black lab, German longhaired pointer mix. He is well tempered and plays well with all other dogs.

About: I have taken care of and had my own dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. I have 3 dogs of my own who are my best friends and also a cat who may as well be a 4th dog! I also have a lot of experience with horses as well as horses of my own! I work full time as a large animal vet tech Monday- Friday and also work part time on a horse farm on the weekends. I farm sit for horse people when available too! My yellow lab, hound and GSP are VERY friendly and always love company or willing to stay at your home to keep your dog as comfortable as possible and keep them in their normal routine.
