About: I grew up with dogs as a kid. As an adult I’ve owned 2 dogs for a total of 4 years. The first I had for 3 years and had gotten him from a friend due to PCS. My current is a GSD that I got as an 8 week puppy who is currently over a year old that I trained myself. I currently work about 6-8 hours a day but have a short commute to work so if needed, I am able to check in on pets on a more frequent basis. I take my dog outdoors pretty frequently since he’s high energy whether it be on walks or for play in the yard. At least once a week, I take him somewhere public to work on his socialization and training with distractions. We train pretty frequently as well and have to say he does pretty well so if you’d like, I can assist in anything you’re trying to train. Disclaimer though, I’m not a professional trainer, only dogs I’ve trained are the ones I’ve owned. I live in a house with a pretty large fenced yard. I’m a big advocate for dogs getting activity, whether that’s physical like a walk or play outside or if it’s any kind of mental stimulation. My dog is crate trained and stays in his crate while I am not at home. I would prefer the same of your pet to ensure safety of your fur baby while I am away. Once I’m home, I allow my dog to free roam the house and will do the same for yours. My dog has been around several dogs and cats and is very friendly, social and playful, however, if needed, I have the ability to separate animals that don’t get along to ensure their safety. Our dog hurt his leg two days before we were to leave on a eight day cruise and she took great care of him, giving him his medicine and making sure he didn’t jump, go down/up stairs or play too hard which anyone knows is hard in itself with a dog. She offered to take him to the vet if he got worse and kept us updated every day. They are amazing honestly and we definitely will be using her going forward. About: As a Family I’ve been taking care of pets for over 40 years. We took in bunnies, parakeets, dogs, cats. Especially close to my heart are senior pets. I am retired but help out with school drop off and pick up for my grandkids and watch them when they are out of school. They are all pet lovers and respectful of pets. I also don’t mind helping taking care of exotic pets because I am trying to be an Exotics/Wildlife Veterinarian and have always had a passion for exotics, so I’ll be more than happy to help! I’ve helped with puppy training like potty reinforcing basic commands, but I am always willing to learn any crate training or potty training. I’m also comfortable with senior pups and making sure they get extra patience, slower walks, or medications if needed but I will need to learn how to administer your pup’s medication. I always send updates and photos so you know your pups are happy and taken care of. Pet care fits really well into my routine since I’m mostly available in the afternoons. I usually plan my classes and responsibilities earlier in the day, so afternoons are open for walks, drop-ins, feedings, and playtime. It works out great because I can give pets my full attention without feeling rushed, and I’m able to stay consistent with their schedule. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to their normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress-free. I follow feeding and walk schedules, give them plenty of attention, and respect their personality and space. I’m also very respectful of the home and always send updates and photos so owners feel confident while they’re away.

About: Hi I'm Jackia I'm new to this but I'm use to pets. I love animals. I like to take walks and go to the gym so I don't mind taking them on a walk. I've had a pet dog for 6 years now. Dogs are my favorite animal. I'm more of a dog person than a cat but I like cats too. I'm friendly and understanding and have patience. “Edwina and her family took in my two German Shepherds and integrated them into their family like they were their own when I was traveling out of town for work for two days. Edwina sent regular updates and photos, and she gave one of my dogs their oral medication with no issue. One of my dogs gets anxious during storms, and there were a few storms while I was away unfortunately. They provided her extra comfort and allowed her to follow them around so that she felt more comfortable. It made my trip that much easier to know they were being taken care of!”
