“Joanne did a great job taking care of our 3 dogs, 2 cats, and house. She frequently updated us on the pets, took photos, and house sat. She has a great love of pets, much knowledge and experience with care. We didn't have to worry while on vacation. We highly recommend Joanne for pet care. You will not be disappointed.”
2. Sandy B.

3. Riley K.
“Riley is an extremely caring individual whose love for animals outweighs everything else. She’s extremely talented in the aspect of care, big animals to small, and has a special knack for loving even the most difficult fur babies. She has a special talent in training as well, and I highly recommend Riley, as she’s one of the most passionate towards animals I’ve ever met.”
4. Olivia R.

5. Suzanne D.
“Suzanne is a lovely person and she took great care of my dog Rose and my home. I really appreciate her stepping in to help out while I had a family medical issue to deal with in another state. Rose absolutely loved her...When I got home, my pup greeted me but went right back to sit with Suzanne. That was awesome...exactly what I love seeing when I have to leave her. I recommend Suzanne to anyone who wants a sweet, responsible pet sitter.”
6. Sandra E.
“Sandra was absolutely amazing, and I will 100% be booking her again. She went above and beyond when house sitting and watching my dog and four cats. She’s kind, communicative, passionate about animals, dependable and punctual. Anyone would be lucky to have her watching their pets! When I got home, not only were my pets *very* apparently happy and safe, but my house was in perfect order. She made my bed exactly as I’d left it (she slept in it, with my consent), tidied up the kitchen, washed the pet bowls, put a million throw pillows back in order on the couch and so on. I had typed up and printed a checklist of instructions for Sandra to refer to overnight, and she actually checked off each thing that she did, *and* made little notes for me in regards to things like giving my dog medication and treats! My dog has severe environmental allergies and needs topical and oral meds each day. I was worried about having someone new handle this + his thunderstorm anxiety, but Sandra didn’t shy away at all and actually managed to calm him down amidst what was obviously an anxiety attack (paw licking and chewing, whining, yawning). She texted me as soon as she noticed he was acting “off” and I told her exactly how to handle it. Ten minutes later, she sent me an update — he was happy again! She also sent me photo updates at least six times over the course of the 18 or so hours she spent at my place, both of my dog and cats cuddling with her and enjoying themselves. She spoke so kindly of them, calling them sweet and beautiful and lovingly thanked me for letting her watch them. All in all, I was nervous about hiring a stranger to stay in my home with my pets, and I am so glad Sandra is the one I went with. Sometimes we have no choice but to get some help and Sandra was there to offer that help when I needed it. I’ll 100% be booking her again in the future!”

9. Michaela D.
About: I was born and raised with golden retrievers, they are my heart and soul. Since I grew up with such loving dogs, I’ve grown a huge desire to care for others’ cats and dogs. I am the go to for family friends and neighbors. I normally rely on word of mouth or networking with people I meet. I currently work full time 8-5 Monday through Friday. However I’m able to stay and take care of them before and after work or even on weekends! I spend as much time as I can in the home with the animals. I go based off written instructions and openly communicate with the owner throughout the time I visit.
10. Ceasar V.
“I was a bit nervous about leaving my dogs behind because of work but Ceasar made sure to answer all my questions and concerns and he took care of everything else. Very professional and caring, will definitely book again!”
11. Susan V.
About: I love animals and will treat yours like my own! We will play and walk and have fun together! I can accommodate special needs as well . We have a doggy door so your pet can go in our large fenced in yard as he or she pleases. We walk every afternoon in our neighborhood. If you prefer your dog crated, that works as well. I have 2 friendly dogs. Your dog can be crated at your request, otherwise he or she is free to roam as long as friendly and house trained.
12. Elizabeth U.
“Elizabeth was absolutely amazing with our two boys! She took the best care of them over Christmas and was great with communicating and sending us pictures throughout the time we were gone. She made sure they got plenty of love and attention & they both seemed to be so comfortable around her. We will definitely be using her again in the future ?”

About: I grew up on a farm with not only dogs and cats but cows, chickens, horses, pigs, and even bunnies and snakes. You name it I’ve either owned it or tried to bring it in the house in my pockets. As for dogs and cats specifically, I’ve had three dogs and too many kitties to count. I’ve bottle fed both and have trained my personal dogs from puppyhood. I can give advice on trouble areas in that regard (but I am not a professional dog trainer by any means). Last year, my dog Memphis was diagnosed with kidney disease. I administered medicine and care for him until he had to leave this world. All that to say, I am able to help with sick/elderly dogs. I currently have two cats, Khaleesi and Seuss, and a German Shepherd Dog, Cash, all of whom I love dearly. I am available most weekends and I work 8 to 4 throughout the week. When I am at work, I have an enormous yard for the pups to play in. If you have an escape artist, I can work with you on a solution that keeps them safe with as much freedom as you're comfortable with. Your pets will be my pets while I’m with them! I live in a home with a cat and a dog. If your pet is able to reside comfortably alongside my animals I’d love to have them visit us! I can be as active or relaxed with them as you’d like me to be. I have a large fenced in yard, and I spend at least an hour before and after work with my dog either playing fetch or going for a walk. Trips to the dog park are special treats for us. If you’re comfortable with it and they are at least moderately behaved on a leash, I’ll bring them along. If I am coming to your home, I will treat it as my own and leave everything how I found it. The litter box will be cleaned and the water/food refilled as necessary. I’ve been known to water the plants on the way out the door as well.
14. Katie M.
“Katie stayed with my three large dogs on short notice. Two of which had never been with a sitter. Plus two are high energy boxers. They loved her! She sent regular updates to me about how they were doing and sent pictures. She called when my young puppy had an accident in his crate and soiled himself. She promptly took care of it and even gave him a bath. She also took care of package deliveries and the mail. Katie is a keeper and we will definitely have her dog sit for us again.”
15. Cynthia S.
“Cynthia stayed with my dog Townes over the Christmas holiday and she was great! She sent me photos, texts and updates every day which really put me at ease as this was the first time I left him with someone I didn't know. She was an awesome dog sitter and I will definitely use her the next time I have to go out of town again.”
16. Claire W.
“Claire was wonderful with our big Chocolate Lab Lou, she sent us pictures and kept us updated while we were away for the weekend. It helped us be able to relax and enjoy ourselves without worrying about our fur baby. We will definitely use her again!!”
17. Kristen H.
About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was 12! Neighbors and family members have needed me to walk, bathe, feed, and provide company for their pets when away on trips or at work! I’m currently a part time college student, so I have plenty of time to care for animals and take them on walks! My schedule is very flexible so I can adapt to each specific pets needs and schedules. I care for pets in my clients home by ensuring that their animals retain their regular feeding and bathroom schedule, and I make sure that they get their required socialization and daily exercise!
18. Wendie K.
“I don't even know where to start. This assignment would have been a challenge for Cesar Millan. We have Two Aussies under the age of two. They are littermates and both male. They are super reactive and very high energy. They don't like other dogs and basically got kicked out of doggie daycare. One is on Prozac. The other was being medicated and monitored for a bladder infection when we left. They are house dogs but also accustomed to running our three acres without fences or leashes. We live in a very isolated area in the Croatan. There are bear, boar, coyotes, and bobcats right in our backyard. It's also deer season so shotgun fire and hunting dogs are close on a regular basis. If that wasn't enough, our home is a disaster. The water heater blew recently and we are in the process of ripping out and replacing the flooring from the flood. None of this intimidated Wendie. She came right into our mess with a level of professionalism and compassion you could never measure. She sent multiple photos and updates daily and we were actually able to relax a little while we were away. Her daughter, Jenny, knew our dogs are comforted by music and played guitar for them every night until they calmed down. They were so kind and loving to our dogs and to us while we were away. I never thought we could leave them safely. I wouldn't hesitate to leave our dogs and our home in the care of Wendie ever again. Our expectations were exceeded in every possible way. They miss you already Wendie and hope to see you again soon. Thank you with all of our hearts, Megan Jason Tracker and Scout”
19. Rachel K.
“I have four dogs and depend upon Rachel to care for their physical needs but also their need for humans. Rachel does a great job in both areas. I am gone a lot and she goes above and beyond such as bringing packages up, emptying the trash, washing out food bowls, etc. Rachel is very reliable- she is great!”
20. Lauren D.
“Lauren is the dog mom to two of the happiest, healthiest, and well trained dogs I know. She is a responsible person who will prioritize your dogs’ health and safety, not to mention that she absolutely loves dogs and will make sure they’re happy and taken care of ❤️”
