About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 5 years and have about 6 years of experience caring for pets of friends and family, including walking, pet sitting and overnight stays. I have two rescue dogs of my own, so I have lots of experience with shy, anxious and socially nervous pups who may need a little extra patience and reassurance to feel comfortable. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from small puppies to larger breeds and have experience with different personalities and energy levels, including reactive and high-energy dogs. I’m also comfortable following special diets, giving medications and caring for dogs with allergies and other needs. I’ve always been a huge animal lover, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality. Whether they’re playful and energetic or happiest cuddled up on the couch, I’m patient, attentive and happy to meet them where they are. My current schedule is very flexible, so I have broad availability for weekday, weekend and overnight care. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and can accommodate multiple walks or potty breaks, regular feeding schedules and plenty of playtime and attention throughout the day. I’m also open to longer stays when my schedule allows. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I know from having two shy rescue dogs of my own that every animal has different boundaries, routines and ways of feeling safe, so I take the time to let pets get comfortable with me at their own pace. I’m attentive to instructions and happy to follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication and bedtime routines as closely as possible. I also understand how much trust it takes to welcome someone into your home and will always treat your space with care and respect. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you’re away! I’m also happy to help with small household needs like bringing in mail or packages and caring for plants during overnight stays.

“Allana did great with my puppy! She was super flexible with what we needed and made sure to be attentive with my puppy both inside the house and when she took him on walks. He was comfortable enough to eat, sleep, and play with her! We came back to a puppy who was out for the rest of the night! It can be really hard to leave your puppy with someone, especially in your own home, (my puppy is only 4 months) but allana did a great job and I’d hire her again.”

“Sandra was absolutely amazing, and I will 100% be booking her again. She went above and beyond when house sitting and watching my dog and four cats. She’s kind, communicative, passionate about animals, dependable and punctual. Anyone would be lucky to have her watching their pets! When I got home, not only were my pets *very* apparently happy and safe, but my house was in perfect order. She made my bed exactly as I’d left it (she slept in it, with my consent), tidied up the kitchen, washed the pet bowls, put a million throw pillows back in order on the couch and so on. I had typed up and printed a checklist of instructions for Sandra to refer to overnight, and she actually checked off each thing that she did, *and* made little notes for me in regards to things like giving my dog medication and treats! My dog has severe environmental allergies and needs topical and oral meds each day. I was worried about having someone new handle this + his thunderstorm anxiety, but Sandra didn’t shy away at all and actually managed to calm him down amidst what was obviously an anxiety attack (paw licking and chewing, whining, yawning). She texted me as soon as she noticed he was acting “off” and I told her exactly how to handle it. Ten minutes later, she sent me an update — he was happy again! She also sent me photo updates at least six times over the course of the 18 or so hours she spent at my place, both of my dog and cats cuddling with her and enjoying themselves. She spoke so kindly of them, calling them sweet and beautiful and lovingly thanked me for letting her watch them. All in all, I was nervous about hiring a stranger to stay in my home with my pets, and I am so glad Sandra is the one I went with. Sometimes we have no choice but to get some help and Sandra was there to offer that help when I needed it. I’ll 100% be booking her again in the future!”

About: I have never had a moment in my life where I did not have multiple pets at a time. My household is very pet friendly and with that I have learnt how to care for them properly! I love animals of all kinds and have been relied on for many different pet sitting/caring occasions. Along with my full-time job, I work part-time at a pet store where I have learned a great deal on different techniques and tactics on how to properly care for, meet, and love animals. Through this store I have also gained many training opportunities where I can educate myself further on pet care and nutrition! I currently work full-time. Therefore, I am the perfect candidate for lunch-time visits, and night feedings, walks, drop-ins, etc. as my schedule in the morning of the day is pretty filled. I am pretty open on weekends! Having two dogs of my own, I know what all goes into caring for a pet! Depending on your needs, I am able and experienced in feeding, walking, crating (if desired), playing, etc.

My contract job just ended so I have a lot of time available to care for your pups and kitties. I love getting out and walking. When I visit a clients home, I care for their pets like my own making sure they have a good walk if they're a dog freshwater and food and snuggles. About: I am know to be loved by pets of all sizes I am capable of running and playing with animals for hours, If a dog is more relaxed I am 100% capable to sit down and enjoy an animal’s company. I can handle bigger dogs allowing them to have fun all they want without restricting them. I own a senior dog so I know about the care and patience it takes to provide them with comfortable care. I do work normal 9-5 Monday-Friday with my primary job but i am more than capable of taking care of animals immediately after and all day on the weekends. Friday afternoon to Sunday night I am available to do overnight dog sitting. I love animals and safety is my priority, I see the pets I care for as my own and will treat them with the highest respect. I can handle high energy dogs and bigger dogs as an athletic man but I also offer stress free care for those that need their personal space and someone to give them company.
