“Jenna is one of the most dependable, conscientious, and caring people we've ever met. She took perfect care of our cat, provided pics/updates twice daily, and sincerely enjoyed spending time interacting with him. I don't think he even missed us! Her compassionate and caring approach has no equal. She went above and beyond by consistently cleaning the cat's eating and kitty litter box areas. We will always request her to watch our cat when we travel in the future. She is truly a gem and we are blessed to have her in our community.”

“Nothing but the highest praise for Annie and the care she gave our cats! One of our cats requires pills and can be a bit of a challenge, but Annie excelled and was able to give her her medicine skillfully during every visit. My only regret is that we’re capped at 5 stars!”

“Kierstynn did a great job with our girls. She is reliable, kind and cares for our girls as if they were her own. It’s been such a relief for us to know we have someone trust worthy. We greatly appreciate her pet sitting! Will definitely continue to book with her.”

“Hannah is absolutely wonderful! She is such a kind, caring, and dependable dog sitter, and I honestly couldn’t ask for anyone better to take care of my pups. Her communication is amazing, and she always keeps me updated, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. She is incredibly attentive to the dogs and really takes the time to make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and well cared for. She’s also so easy-going and flexible, which I appreciate more than I can say. Plans change, things come up, and Hannah is always so understanding and willing to adapt without ever making you feel like you’re a burden. Most importantly, I can tell that she genuinely loves animals and treats my dogs like they’re her own. I never have to worry when they’re with her, and that is priceless. I would recommend Hannah to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, responsible, and just genuinely wonderful to have taking care of their pets. ❤️”

“Sarah was fantastic. So friendly with great communication and photos daily while we were away. It was amazing how comfortable our cat was with her. We will go to Sarah first for future pet sitting!”

“Evelyn was awesome and a great help for us! She was able to help us out last minute and was very flexible through the whole process! Would highly recommend her to any family and friends!”

“Alexis took great care of our dogs while we were away for the holidays! They seemed to really enjoy her care and company, and she went the extra mile making sure they had everything they needed. She was also very communicative and kept us informed at all times. 10/10, would book again.”

“Callie did great with my dog Sonic, he is very timid with new people but warmed up to her very quickly when she came over the meet and great. We have several events planned for the future and I definitely will be booking again with her.”
About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 5 years and have about 6 years of experience caring for pets of friends and family, including walking, pet sitting and overnight stays. I have two rescue dogs of my own, so I have lots of experience with shy, anxious and socially nervous pups who may need a little extra patience and reassurance to feel comfortable. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from small puppies to larger breeds and have experience with different personalities and energy levels, including reactive and high-energy dogs. I’m also comfortable following special diets, giving medications and caring for dogs with allergies and other needs. I’ve always been a huge animal lover, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality. Whether they’re playful and energetic or happiest cuddled up on the couch, I’m patient, attentive and happy to meet them where they are. My current schedule is very flexible, so I have broad availability for weekday, weekend and overnight care. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and can accommodate multiple walks or potty breaks, regular feeding schedules and plenty of playtime and attention throughout the day. I’m also open to longer stays when my schedule allows. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I know from having two shy rescue dogs of my own that every animal has different boundaries, routines and ways of feeling safe, so I take the time to let pets get comfortable with me at their own pace. I’m attentive to instructions and happy to follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication and bedtime routines as closely as possible. I also understand how much trust it takes to welcome someone into your home and will always treat your space with care and respect. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you’re away! I’m also happy to help with small household needs like bringing in mail or packages and caring for plants during overnight stays.

“Cassandra was great! She was quick to respond and did a great job watching our dog and two cats. I highly recommend her and will be contacting her again when we need another pet sitter!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Hubert
During our 7 day absence, Jenna took amazing care of our big, socially demanding, sweet cat!! Daily reports and pics clearly reflected interactive play time and our satisfied cat. Upon return, our cat was very settled and did not show any signs of stress. In addition, Jenna took care of the environment. Our cat is a messy eater and sheds horribly. No evidence of said mess was left behind. We are already planning our next experience with Jenna❤️

Jenna was amazing with our little furry family. All 3 girls took to her and felt safe and she took great care with them, fed them, cleaned after them and played with them and we felt really relaxed that they are in good hands while away. She was also very accommodating when our schedule changed. Definitely will be booking with Jenna again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hubert. On Rover:
- 97% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
