About: I grew up with dogs as a kid. As an adult I’ve owned 2 dogs for a total of 4 years. The first I had for 3 years and had gotten him from a friend due to PCS. My current is a GSD that I got as an 8 week puppy who is currently over a year old that I trained myself. I currently work about 6-8 hours a day but have a short commute to work so if needed, I am able to check in on pets on a more frequent basis. I take my dog outdoors pretty frequently since he’s high energy whether it be on walks or for play in the yard. At least once a week, I take him somewhere public to work on his socialization and training with distractions. We train pretty frequently as well and have to say he does pretty well so if you’d like, I can assist in anything you’re trying to train. Disclaimer though, I’m not a professional trainer, only dogs I’ve trained are the ones I’ve owned. I live in a house with a pretty large fenced yard. I’m a big advocate for dogs getting activity, whether that’s physical like a walk or play outside or if it’s any kind of mental stimulation. My dog is crate trained and stays in his crate while I am not at home. I would prefer the same of your pet to ensure safety of your fur baby while I am away. Once I’m home, I allow my dog to free roam the house and will do the same for yours. My dog has been around several dogs and cats and is very friendly, social and playful, however, if needed, I have the ability to separate animals that don’t get along to ensure their safety. I used to volunteer at the animal shelter and would take the dogs on walks, administer medication, and enjoyed spending lots of time hanging out with them. I work full time but I am available after 4. I am also free every weekend. I am an active person and love to be outside so we would go on lots of walks. About: I have been caring for and watching dogs since I was a young child. Unfortunately, my husband and I are not currently able to get a dog due to the uncertainty of work schedules. Therefore, I decided that there was no better place for me than rover! I would love spending the afternoon walking, playing, hiking, or running with your dog! I have plenty of space for your dog to explore outside, or take them to mini trips to the dog park or to get a pupcup! I grew up with 3 golden retrievers, but have experience caring for pitbulls, dachshunds, boxers, red heeler, pugs, etc. I am also willing to take the time to learn the specific needs of your pet and take the extra step to build a relationship with them to give them the care they need. Please read the "cat care details" to see how I would care for your kitty friends! ☺️ I currently work part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I offer boarding 7 days a week and pet walking and at home visits in the afternoons after 3 pm or anytime on the weekends! I have an open yard for your dogs to run or explore. Your doggos are free to lounge on my furniture or bring their own beds & blankies to sleep on. When caring for dogs at their home, I will gladly take them on however long of a walk they're used to. (I love walking, running, and hiking).
