“Jade was the absolute perfect cat sitter. She gave the best daily updates and took great photos that made me feel less anxious leaving them for 2 weeks. I simply can’t recommend her enough. She is sweet, kind, personable, and truly cares for animals.”

“Abigail checked in on our 2 cats while we were out of town and she was amazing! She came by before we left to get to know them and the house and that was great. She let us know any and all updates after her visit and made sure the cats were okay, had food and water and their litter box was clean. We will be using her in the future if we go out of town again!”

“Alexis is amazing! She was caring and loving, and making sure my baby is feeling well. And if needed, she is ready to go above and beyond for your pets and your comfort!”

“Alissa and Mario did a great job with our 3 kitties! They gave me detailed updates every day along with photos that put my mind at ease while we were away. I would 10/10 have them back! Can’t recommend them enough.”

“Annie has been great! Hired her twice and will absolutely do so again next time I need a pet sitter. Extremely commutative and adaptable, I’d give 6 stars if I could!”

“She was amazing with the dogs and I could tell just from the pictures from the visits that they were being well taken care of and very happy to spend the time with her! Couldn’t be happier with this sitter!”

“Brittany was great. 1st time using her. She communicated, sent photos, and completed the things we requested. It was comforting to know that our cats were taken care of while we were away.”

About: As a Family I’ve been taking care of pets for over 40 years. We took in bunnies, parakeets, dogs, cats. Especially close to my heart are senior pets. I am retired but help out with school drop off and pick up for my grandkids and watch them when they are out of school. They are all pet lovers and respectful of pets. I have a fenced in backyard and an elderly dog who loves spending time with other dogs I also go to friends and relatives houses to take care of their pets.
About: I've been an animal lover since forever! I grew up with all kinds of animals from snakes, to gerbils, and of course cats and dogs. I started a dog-washing and walking business back in high school and absolutely loved getting to know all the furry friends in the neighborhood. Over the years, I’ve fostered everything from tiny bottle-fed kittens to sweet senior cats and dogs—each one has stolen a little piece of my heart. 🐾 These days, I share my home with two adorable cats and a lovable “step-dog,” and I promise to treat your pets just like I do my own—with tons of love, snuggles, and care! With a rotating night shift and only 14 workdays a month, I have plenty of free time for your pets! I'm available for drop-in visits between shifts and love making the most of my downtime by spending it with furry friends. 🐶🐱💕 Every pet is unique, and I tailor my care to fit their needs, routine, and personality! Whether I’m stopping by for a quick visit, going on a walk, or staying overnight, I always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable in their own space. 🐾 Drop-In Visits: I’ll make sure your pet gets playtime, potty breaks, food, fresh water, and any meds they might need—plus lots of attention and cuddles! 🐕 Dog Walking: Walks are more than just exercise—they're an adventure! I match the pace and style to your dog’s energy level, whether it's a power walk or a sniff-and-stroll. My goal is always to give your pet the best care—and give you total peace of mind while you're away!
“I couldn’t be happier with the care Quincy provided for my cats while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and spent quality time with them — exactly what I was hoping for. She followed all instructions perfectly and treated the kitties like her own. It gave me real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

“We last minute booked with Dakota before the holidays due to our good friends (who have pet sit for us before) needing to cancel on us. This of course was very stressful at the time, it was last minute during the holidays, we had to travel, and we knew we would not be leaving our babies until we found a solution. A coworker of mine had mentioned Rover to me, and I just happened to find Dakota. His rates were very affordable, especially in comparison to the other pricier pet sitters on this site. Understandably, people are pricing themselves and accounting for the cut that Rover takes, but with that in mind Dakota is asking for nothing all while being just as qualified as many other accounts I could see. He would message me and wave hello to my ring camera as he came and went and he would always send more than one photo a day. One of my cats is very social and one is a little shy but oddly enough I can tell through the photos shared that my shy one warmed up to him very quickly and my social one was skeptical haha. By the end of our trips we would have the happiest pictures of our kitties with Dakota. Both my pets had some separation anxiety while I was gone which included accidents or vomiting and he kindly informed me on what happened and he cleaned it up. I really appreciate Dakotas care over our holiday period and I will be booking with him again privately due to Rover taking a large cut. I am very grateful for this app for connecting me to a forever pet sitter, I highly recommend Dakota.”

About: I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life. My grandma down in Georgia works at a grooming shop with her friends that I help out with the moment i get a chance. I am also currently a volunteer at the Adoption First Animal Rescue animal shelter off of Western. I plan on entrepreneuring my own dog grooming salon in the future because I'm passionate about pets getting the care they need while being in a safe and comforting environment. I have loved and adored animals, especially dogs and cats, my entire life and I plan to do whatever I can to make any clients' pets happy and loved for the time I am with them. I am currently a high school senior and I work part time at Dario's. I am usually scheduled for work on sundays, mondays, and fridays except for the off chance I pick up a shift on a different day. Other than that, I am available at any time. However, I currently share a car with my stepfather, so I would need a few days in advance before I am able to accept or decline a client. When I am taking care of a pet, I am very focused on them, especially if they require specific amount/kind of attention. I am also very good at analyzing animal behavior/body language to know if the animal is in any sort of distress or if they are upset. Every pet is different, and I trust that clients know their pets the best. I take careful consideration of what my client will tell me about their pet and I will utilize that information to the best of my ability.
About: As a previous dog owner myself, I know that dogs love attention and playing, even sometimes just want to be held. Given that I had to give my dog away due to my profession, please allow me to take care of your dog, care for it, and love it on the days you have things going on. I'm available at night on the weekends and all day on the weekends. Also if any special requests like washing or brushing are needed, I can do those too! Anything like special food, specific acitivty time, or anything of the like apply to your pet, I'm willing to abide to give your pet the best experience yet and to give piece to your mind while you go out and have fun! I do currently work full time as a civilian on base. My schedule is normally 6am-2pm, depending on what’s needed for the pet I can try my best to adapt my schedule as need be! Currently I won’t be able to house any pets in my home, my complex doesn’t allow pet sitting for my apartment unit (dogs and cats) I’m 100% okay with being able to come by and see your pet, if you’re pet is in a mobile cage I don’t mind having it inside as long as everything is provided to care for the animal (I’m thinking gerbils, hamsters, bunnies, etc.).
Pumpkin Center cat parents share their Rover experiences
Abigail was absolutely wonderful with Olive! This was our third time having her as our sitter, and she continues to be so attentive and caring. She cleaned the litter box, brought in packages, brushed Olive, played with her, and sent lots of photos and videos that gave us total peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares, and Olive is always well looked after. We’re so grateful to have found her and will absolutely continue booking with her!
