I’m María, a reliable and caring pet sitter with a genuine love for both dogs and cats 🐾 My experience with animals started early, my very first “job” was walking dogs in my neighborhood, and since then I’ve always been the go-to person for pet care. I had a German Shepherd named Rocky, so I understand the responsibility, energy, and attention dogs need, especially larger or more active breeds. I’ve also cared for my cousin’s pets (a high-energy husky and a cat) making sure to follow their routines closely, keep them entertained, and give them plenty of attention. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, cleaning litter boxes, and even administering medication when needed. I’m very organized, attentive, and adaptable. About: For as long as I can remember, I have grown up with both dogs and cats! I have been surrounded by them whether it be them being my own pets( or should I say my own family members because let’s face it, they are our family), my relatives house and even my neighbors house when babysitting. I know it can be hard leaving your fur baby alone, I just hope that I can make them and you comfortable! I am a full time teacher at Camp Lejeune! I work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm so I am available weekdays after 5:45 pm and then all weekend long. I take hour lunches so if in a nearby neighborhood I can let them out during the day or frequently on the weekends! In order to keep you and them at the most comfortable, I am able to house sit and take care of them in the comfort of your own home. I am 100% honest so that everyone has a happy, healthy and most importantly and safe stay!

I currently have multiple pets of my own, so daily routines like feeding schedules, exercise, and understanding behavior cues are second nature to me. I work part-time (typically 6–8 hour shifts), so pets should be comfortable being alone for short periods. While I’m home, they’ll get lots of attention, playtime, and one-on-one care. While I’m away, pets are always kept safely indoors (crated or in a separate room if preferred). I’m experienced with puppies, large breeds, shy pets, and multi-pet households, and I always adjust my care based on each animal’s personality. Whether your pet needs structure, patience, or extra affection, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. I also send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m happy to follow any routines, medications, or special instructions—my goal is to make this as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. I do meet-and-greets beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone!

About: As a previous dog owner myself, I know that dogs love attention and playing, even sometimes just want to be held. Given that I had to give my dog away due to my profession, please allow me to take care of your dog, care for it, and love it on the days you have things going on. I'm available at night on the weekends and all day on the weekends. Also if any special requests like washing or brushing are needed, I can do those too! Anything like special food, specific acitivty time, or anything of the like apply to your pet, I'm willing to abide to give your pet the best experience yet and to give piece to your mind while you go out and have fun! I do currently work full time as a civilian on base. My schedule is normally 6am-2pm, depending on what’s needed for the pet I can try my best to adapt my schedule as need be! Currently I won’t be able to house any pets in my home, my complex doesn’t allow pet sitting for my apartment unit (dogs and cats) I’m 100% okay with being able to come by and see your pet, if you’re pet is in a mobile cage I don’t mind having it inside as long as everything is provided to care for the animal (I’m thinking gerbils, hamsters, bunnies, etc.).

About: I have been around for 19 years and have owned a pet every single one of them. I have nursed my childhood dog from his rescuse up until his trip to heaven. I adore taking care of my babies I have right now both dogs and cats. I have given my most recent kitten her shots and have been able to teach almost all my pets simple things like sitting and staying. I love spending time with animals and would appreciate time in caring for yours. I am available all day on weekends and during the weekdays I can come in early in the morning to Feed, Walk, or any other Care you would like extended to your pets. I get off work around 3 and can show up to your residence at 4:00 or anytime after for Bed Time, Sitting, Walks, Feeding, and anything else you would like done. I can stay and entertain your animal in your home, keeping them fed and safe. I am fairly active so taking trips to the park and going on walks is always a welcome activety. In the event I am asked to care for your pet in my home I myself have 2 kittens and 2 rooms in the event that they get scared. My kittens are very outgoing and love playing with eachother so I see no problem. My male kitten is not sexually mature to be neutred yet but in a few weeks we have an appointment set up. I will update this when he gets fixed.

About: I have been around dogs and many other animals all my life. I have worked at a kennel caring for 16 rooms worth of dogs at a time and have helped friends and family care for their animals while they were out of town. I have a very flexible schedule all week long as I am a stay at home mom. There is nothing set on my scheduled that usually cannot be worked around.
