“This was my first time using Rover and finding Kevin was fate! My sweet girl Rue is high-anxiety and can't be boarded when I have to leave town so I typically have to drive to VA to leave her with a family member - not any more thanks to Kevin! When we had our meet and greet, she sat by his side the whole visit (very unusual) and I knew he was the one. While I was away I knew she was in good hands but me being the high-maintenance mommy I am, I needed daily reassurance from Kevin which he accommodated beautifully. I came home to a happy and relaxed Rue who hated to see Kevin leave! I will definitely be a repeat customer!”

She was very sweet and patient with me as I was very stressed leaving our younger Aussie doodle behind, she’s never been without our lab and def not without both our lab and us. She kept us updated and was flexible with her time. She even came and spent extra time when we were going to be late knowing I was nervous about her adjusting to being alone. We came home to a happy dog and clean house. We are very grateful and would love to have Michaela help us with Lilly again in the future now that they’re buddies!”

About: I love animals and will treat yours like my own! We will play and walk and have fun together! I can accommodate special needs as well . We have a doggy door so your pet can go in our large fenced in yard as he or she pleases. We walk every afternoon in our neighborhood. If you prefer your dog crated, that works as well. I have 2 friendly dogs. Your dog can be crated at your request, otherwise he or she is free to roam as long as friendly and house trained.

“Hi. Sarah “Grace” as we call her, is an amazing care giver to all animals. She grew up having all the small animals one has in their household. Examples are cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, and birds. In our home she was the main care giver and instigator of all our animals. She has great compassion and love for them. All of our neighbors called on her to take care of their pets while they were away. Once she got a car all of her friends parents and our friends had her all over town taking care of their animals. She would even bring some of the animals home for a week at a time to take care of them. She is dependable and loving and I highly recommend her.”

With 6 years of experience in the animal care community, a lifetime of being a pet owner and 8 years experience in nursing allowing me the knowledge of medications and injections, I can provide personalized care for your pet of any type! I’ve worked with dogs big and small, cats feral and house trained, all types of anxiety, aggression, medical needs, and activity level. I’ve fostered through colonial capital humane society and volunteer regularly so i have references and character witnesses upon request. I understand your pet is family and I will treat them with the same love and attention as I would my own. My goal is to keep your pet happy, healthy, and safe while also giving you a peace of mind with regular updates about your pets day with me! I’m currently a stay at home mom to a 13 year old which means I have a very flexible schedule and am available on a quick notice! When hosting other pets I can provide a fun and safe environment to socialize, explore and rest. I do ask that if your pet is crate trained, a crate is provided during their stay. My goal is to keep your pet close to their normal daily routine. I have a fenced in dog run, tons of enrichment activities, and a level of energy that is sure to match theirs.
