About: I love animals, especially dogs, more than words can express! We have always had small dogs in our family since I was born. I could never imagine living without a dog in my household. In fact I have always had my miniature schnauzers as my fur babies since my early 20’s. I also use my endless dog walks as another form of exercise especially with the awesome beach roads all over the island that we are fortunate to enjoy living on the island. Since I never had children I have extremely spoiled animals. Me and my husband are retired and I work a very part time job so have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. My husband may also like to join in with my walks as well to help keep your pooch entertained and continue with our daily exercise regimen. If your pet does not do well on long walks please mention that so we don’t wear them out too much! I would like to walk your dog on the beach or beach access if allowed. If you would rather we stay on the neighborhood streets that’s fine too! My house/pet sitting service will include feeding, playing, walking, cleaning up pet waste in yard or litter box and light housekeeping such as vacuuming up pet fur if applicable. I have a very flexible schedule. I do work a few days a week part time but only 4-5 hr shifts at a time. I would love to be your pet’s next best friend! I am an extremely anal retentive pet owner and home owner. I probably take better care of my pets than my own self! We do not miss any yearly vet appointments and are very attentive to any ailments that may come along. I always say the worst part of being a pet owner is when they have to cross the rainbow bridge.
About: Hi! I'm Lindsay, a lifelong dog lover and owner, and caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I've been pet sitting since college, both in my own home and in clients' homes. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines, and I work hard to make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you're away. From energetic puppies to laid-back senior dogs, I enjoy building trust with pets and providing the same level of care I would want for my own animals. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in good hands. 🐾❤️ I'm currently on summer break from teaching, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. I can provide consistent attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship to help keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away. I want every pet to feel comfortable and cared for while their family is away. I will follow your pet's regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, and playtime. I provide plenty of attention, affection, and supervision to help pets feel safe, relaxed, and happy.
“Murphy is a high energy, sometimes overwhelming rescue. Callie worked with him over several visits to increase his flexibility to his surroundings and teach him behavior that will help him see more of the world. Even though exercise was more the mission than behavior training, Callie was able to convey calm discipline that allowed him to tap into other training he's had. It was a great job on Callie's part connecting and teaching him. Thank you from me and Murphy!!”

About: I have always grown up with animals and my love for them led me to a job at a pet resort. I was a kennel technician for 4 years which provided me great insight to care for all types of furry friends. I just graduated college from UNC Charlotte and home in Emerald Isle for the summer. Most days I workout and hang with my family so my schedule is pretty flexible. I always try to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they’re used to because I know how stressful change can feel—especially for anxious pets. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive, and I make it my priority to provide comfort, consistency, and lots of love while they’re away from their parents.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12! I also have 3 of my own fur babies! I enjoy meeting new pets and family’s! Pet care fits into my life perfectly. I have three of my own dogs that I help care for as well as a dog in my nanny family! I do well with putting dogs in their kennels, short walks and the occasional afternoon hang out! With my mini years of pet experience, I feel inclined to help every family!

I take care of my pets like I take care of myself if I am eating they will be fed. “Emma was very prompt and friendly. She met up with me and my pup before the initial walk. Emma sent updates and pictures and put my mind at ease while at work. Will be using her again!”

About: My family and I have been breeding Golden Retrievers for the past three years! I have had Goldens since I was little and I kept one from a litter we had in December 2023. I just finished my freshman year at UNC Charlotte and will be home for the summer. I have been dog sitting for people all four of my high school years! I am available all summer! I am looking for a summer job right now but just contact me and will be available to take care of your pup! About: I love animals of all kinds! I will care for your pets as if they are my own when I am with them. I have owned dogs, cats and horses. I have taken care of a multitude of animals and catered to any special needs they may have: anxiety, medication, old age, loss of limbs, etc... You name it and I have done it. I’m very flexible with the needs of my clients! Just let me know what you need help with and we can get it taken care of. I have a large yard for your dogs to run and play. Also lots of good walking paths in the neighborhood. If I am in your home, I will take care of your animals as you would in their own environment.
About: 20 years working in the veterinary industry including 10 years at NCSU Vet school and developed years of experience performing physical assesments and basic/advanced interventions for emergencies in a clinical setting. I work full time from home now (veterinary diagnostics) with a bluetick coonhound and a cat as my assistants. Both animals are very friendly towards people and other animals. Buck would love to have a playmate throughout the day. I already entertain my hound during the day while I work remote. We have a fenced in back yard and I take him on frequent walks. His routine is to play in the yard and then sleep in the bed in the office, then repeat throughout the day. I don't let my dog out of the fence off leash or give him anything that can potentially become a foriegn body and/or is toxic to dogs. Buck rips toys apart but does not eat them.
“Vacationing. Wanted to do a 50 mile bike event. Jessica came to our house twice. I came home to a tired dog. No walk needed and I was tired. A tired dog is a good dog. Thank you Jessica.”

“You’re an exceptional walker. My dog gets excited when it’s time to for Robyn to come. She is tired when she gets home, but it’s the good tired. So glad we found Robyn, she is excellent.”
