“Murphy LOVES Callie. She is efficient, reliable and knowledgeable. Most of all, you can tell she genuinely loves my pup. Callie is an important piece of my doggie daycare solution, and I couldn't be more grateful for her.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12! I also have 3 of my own fur babies! I enjoy meeting new pets and family’s! Pet care fits into my life perfectly. I have three of my own dogs that I help care for as well as a dog in my nanny family! I do well with putting dogs in their kennels, short walks and the occasional afternoon hang out! With my mini years of pet experience, I feel inclined to help every family!
“April is awesome. She was easy to communicate with and asked a lot of valid questions in order to provide our dogs with the best care. The dogs enjoyed her company and she gave us peace of mind while we were away.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember ! Growing up, I spent much of my time volunteering at a local animal shelter alongside my grandmother, where I helped feed the cats, clean their spaces, and make sure they felt safe and cared for. I was also actively involved in her animal rescue work, regularly attending adoption events , walking and caring for adoptable dogs and cats , and helping animals find their forever homes. Those experiences taught me how to understand animal behavior, build trust with shy or nervous pets, and provide calm, patient care. Today, I’m a proud cat mom to two rescue cats of my own, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. I’m experienced with animals of all personalities , from playful and social to timid or independent, and I always take the time to make sure each pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved. Whether your pet needs playtime, companionship, or just a gentle, reassuring presence while you're away, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I have a very flexible schedule. Any time you need , I can likely make it work ! Important info for house sitting bookings : I can provide care for most of the day & night. When booking this service , please send me a message and answer the following questions : - Are there any specific care instructions I should be aware of ? - Can your pet be left alone ? If so , for how long at a time ? I will be happy to petsit your animals in your home. Whether that means drop ins, house sitting, or dog walking, you can trust that your animals and your home will be in good hands with me. You can rest assured that when you book with me , your animals will get my full attention and care, and you as their owner will receive clear communication and updates from me every step of the way. I own two cats of my own that I love very much, so I understand just how important it is to make sure they are in good hands , safe , and well taken care of while you are away. I will take care of your fur babies as if they were my own !
About: First, I want to thank you for viewing my page! It means a lot, there are a ton of sitters here on Rover. I've been working with dogs since I was a kid, started doing it professionally in 2013 through local dog daycares and boarding facilities. In the past 6 years, I’ve studied canine body language and behavior, pet CPR, various common dog illnesses, and many medications and how to administer them. I’ve also been able to study and learn the best practice for puppy care and allowing them to grow into happy, social, well-behaved doggos. I love just generally spending time with pups! I’m happy to take your pup on walks, runs, hikes, car rides, and field trips to the local pet store! I have 1 dog of my own, a friendly but shy girl. But, I have experience with dogs of all ranges of socialization. Over the last few years, I took a break from pet sitting to work with Indy’s homeless pets at IACS, where I was the Foster Coordinator, caring for all ages of dogs, cats, and other furry critters! I’ve also spent much of my free time photographing pets professionally, which is definitely one of my favorite things to do! Currently, I am working full-time at a local emergency vet, where I am gaining medical knowledge and enhancing my hands-on skills. tldr; I'm here for you. Whatever needs you/your pet(s) have, let me help you with them! Even if you just need me to take your pup to and from daycare, the vet, or a quick trip to the pet store! Wedding chaperone/pet handler? I'm your girl! I’m currently working full-time at a local emergency vet, so I do have long days (10hr shifts) about 4 times a week. I am, though, able to leave for lunch and let pups out if needed! With over a decade of animal care experience, I am able to provide you with peace of mind that your pets are going to be safe and well-cared for while you’re away.
About: I love animals, especially dogs, more than words can express! We have always had small dogs in our family since I was born. I could never imagine living without a dog in my household. In fact I have always had my miniature schnauzers as my fur babies since my early 20’s. I also use my endless dog walks as another form of exercise especially with the awesome beach roads all over the island that we are fortunate to enjoy living on the island. Since I never had children I have extremely spoiled animals. Me and my husband are retired and I work a very part time job so have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. My husband may also like to join in with my walks as well to help keep your pooch entertained and continue with our daily exercise regimen. If your pet does not do well on long walks please mention that so we don’t wear them out too much! I would like to walk your dog on the beach or beach access if allowed. If you would rather we stay on the neighborhood streets that’s fine too! My house/pet sitting service will include feeding, playing, walking, cleaning up pet waste in yard or litter box and light housekeeping such as vacuuming up pet fur if applicable. I have a very flexible schedule. I do work a few days a week part time but only 4-5 hr shifts at a time. I would love to be your pet’s next best friend! I am an extremely anal retentive pet owner and home owner. I probably take better care of my pets than my own self! We do not miss any yearly vet appointments and are very attentive to any ailments that may come along. I always say the worst part of being a pet owner is when they have to cross the rainbow bridge.
About: I have over a year worth of experience working in a dog daycare! This means I have experience bathing, handling, feeding, administering medicine and even breaking up fights. I take pride in my care for the pets and my ability to take note and meet your pets specific needs! I have always loved animals and would love to get to meet and care for your furry babies! I recently moved into the area and I am looking for a way to bring extra income in as well as explore the community more! The environment when your pets are with me will be calm. Unless we’re playing a game of fetch or tug of war! Cuddles too! :)
About: I love animals of all kinds! I will care for your pets as if they are my own when I am with them. I have owned dogs, cats and horses. I have taken care of a multitude of animals and catered to any special needs they may have: anxiety, medication, old age, loss of limbs, etc... You name it and I have done it. I’m very flexible with the needs of my clients! Just let me know what you need help with and we can get it taken care of. I have a large yard for your dogs to run and play. Also lots of good walking paths in the neighborhood. If I am in your home, I will take care of your animals as you would in their own environment.
About: My family and I have been breeding Golden Retrievers for the past three years! I have had Goldens since I was little and I kept one from a litter we had in December 2023. I just finished my freshman year at UNC Charlotte and will be home for the summer. I have been dog sitting for people all four of my high school years! I am available all summer! I am looking for a summer job right now but just contact me and will be available to take care of your pup! I offer Drop-In Visits and Dog Walking services and I have a one year old Golden Retriever that can come along with me to play with your dog, if your dog would be okay with other dogs! I will do whatever you need me to do for your fur baby!

“Emma was very prompt and friendly. She met up with me and my pup before the initial walk. Emma sent updates and pictures and put my mind at ease while at work. Will be using her again!”

About: In my house growing up, we always had a dog and cats. At one time we had 2 dogs, 3 cats, a bunny, 2 birds, and a chinchilla. I learned what a good home for good pet looks like, but I also learned, THEY train US more than we realize. A "good" pet feels safe and trusts the human they're with. A "good boy/girl" doesn't pee inside, because a "good human" takes them out/cleans their litter. A "good boy/girl" feels relaxed at home, because a "good human" gives them the exercise and energy outlets they need during the day! Let me be your "good boy or girl's" "good human" while you're away :) I work flexible 11am-5:00pm days in Swansboro. Midday walks are easy if nearby, otherwise I would love to spend my free time hanging with your best buddy(s) around my easy-to-adjust work days! I have no pets of my own currently, so your home will remain your pet(s)'s sole domain without territory conflict. As for your home space, I'm a very honest, clean, non-smoking human with a lot of love and respect for other people's material belongings, privacy, and vow to honor any requests or considerations. My 3 highest moral values are integrity, respect, and care. It's also a goal of mine that you return back to your home better than you left it! I'm just here to become best friends with your pet(s), but the process of earning your trust simultaneously, is an extra bonus :)
