Liz is super. She is reliable to come when scheduled. If there are any changes, she is flexible to our needs. Communication is great; she always provides a report and photos. Most importantly, she loves Baby and gives her the attention needed. If you are looking for an experienced person to love and walk your dog, look no further. We highly recommend her.

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs for about 2 years. I have a dog of my own she is a handful but my whole world 🥹. I would love to be of help to anyone I can. I work part time at a grocery store. I mainly work nights so I get off anywhere between 9 and 11pm. So when trying to schedule check ins I would recommend scheduling the first check in later in the morning so there is less time in between each check in. I have a fenced in yard it’s fairly large enough room to run and play if needed I feel confident in my abilities to safely get your dog in a crate

About: I’ve had experience with many types of animals since I was little. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats of all ages. I also have experience taking care of rodents. I’m a stay at home mom as of right now to a little boy, so I will have all the time in the world to take care of your pets. I would have to work it around his nap schedule but that won’t be a problem at all. While I don’t have a fenced in yard, I can take any animal in my care for walks if it’s needed. I also have a loving cat named Ali to keep any animal that’s with us company.

My two dogs are crate trained but if your fur baby isn’t it’s no big deal! I can take your dog on walks or make sure they have enough play time in your yard at home!

About: I’ve taken care of answer for as long as I can remember, I grew up with big and small dogs. I used to volunteer and a veterinarian clinic near my home where I would help in the after care of animals once they got out of surgery and making sure their food cages was clean and the food and water was full. It’s not a secret that I’m a marine, but considering my job I have pretty flexible hours and will always put your animals health and wellbeing first. I stay in the barracks so we’re not allowed to have animals there, but if push comes to shove I can work with duty to see what I can do. If it’s in the clients home then I can provide better care and services for your pet.

About: I have cared for dogs and cats over the last 25 years. I have my own dog and cat but have also cared for friends dogs and cats. I currently cannot have them in my home but it is easy for me to let them out, walk them, feed them, brush them and give them love. I have given medication to both dogs and cats and have cared for seniors as well. I am available evenings and weekends. I work Monday through Friday, with a volunteer job Sunday mornings. I am able to care after 4:30pm during the week and pretty much all day on Saturday. If I am letting your pet outside at your house I will be with them and watch them the whole time. I am unable to have them in my home at this time. I will spend time playing fetch or whatever I can to make your dog/cat happy.

I do have certifications in dog behavior. I work around 6 hours a day with my current facility and am always upfront and honest about my availability. I understand where certain behaviors develop and how to not only prevent them, but to remove them completely. I have experience in dog training (household, leash, media/film, etc.). I have trained puppies all the way to senior dogs. Being with animals is not a hobby for me; it is a lifestyle. About: I’ve grown up with aussies my whole life. I have fostered other aussies. I have also dog sat many other dog breeds and have loved everyone of them. I am also a groomer, I brush, bathe and trim fur babies. My love for animals only grows as I get older. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me for many years to care, groom and make sure their animals are well taken care of. At home my family has three tonkinese cats, two birds and one dog. I have never lived without an animal in our home and I couldn’t imagine not having any animal under my roof. I am a full time student, however with that comes the need for frequent breaks from studying. I love to be animals and rely on them just as much as they rely on me. I require to get myself outside at least 3 times a day. With the breaks from school that I require I can easily and gladly fill that time to take care of someone’s furry friend♥️ I can easily walk your animal as frequently as you’d prefer. I love the outdoors and showing them off. I thoroughly enjoy hikes and runs and anything outdoors. I will be a Nursing student at Liberty University and there are so many places to go around that allow animals.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
