Our dog hurt his leg two days before we were to leave on a eight day cruise and she took great care of him, giving him his medicine and making sure he didn’t jump, go down/up stairs or play too hard which anyone knows is hard in itself with a dog. She offered to take him to the vet if he got worse and kept us updated every day. They are amazing honestly and we definitely will be using her going forward. About: As a Family I’ve been taking care of pets for over 40 years. We took in bunnies, parakeets, dogs, cats. Especially close to my heart are senior pets. I am retired but help out with school drop off and pick up for my grandkids and watch them when they are out of school. They are all pet lovers and respectful of pets. I’ve taken care of 3 elderly dogs and helped them be as comfortable as possible before dying at home. Groomed our family dogs for years. I’ve helped my dogs and others after surgery and have experience giving medication. We have a single story home with only three steps to the backyard and two to the front yard. My husband and children are wonderful at cuddling and playing with all the dogs we get to meet. I’m home most of the day every day, we go on walks as a family in the morning & evening. I have a minivan available for transporting all sizes of animals. We homeschool and my husband helps whenever I need to take the kids to activities. There are very few times where we are all away from home, so we are able to give extra attention. I have a large fenced yard with chickens (in their own fenced area) and my cats are friendly and live outside the home. Our home is a single story and the only steps are three to the backyard and two to the front yard. Our garage is heated/cooled and a great space to keep large kenneled pets. About: I grew up with dogs as a kid. As an adult I’ve owned 2 dogs for a total of 4 years. The first I had for 3 years and had gotten him from a friend due to PCS. My current is a GSD that I got as an 8 week puppy who is currently over a year old that I trained myself. I currently work about 6-8 hours a day but have a short commute to work so if needed, I am able to check in on pets on a more frequent basis. I take my dog outdoors pretty frequently since he’s high energy whether it be on walks or for play in the yard. At least once a week, I take him somewhere public to work on his socialization and training with distractions. We train pretty frequently as well and have to say he does pretty well so if you’d like, I can assist in anything you’re trying to train. Disclaimer though, I’m not a professional trainer, only dogs I’ve trained are the ones I’ve owned. I live in a house with a pretty large fenced yard. I’m a big advocate for dogs getting activity, whether that’s physical like a walk or play outside or if it’s any kind of mental stimulation. My dog is crate trained and stays in his crate while I am not at home. I would prefer the same of your pet to ensure safety of your fur baby while I am away. Once I’m home, I allow my dog to free roam the house and will do the same for yours. My dog has been around several dogs and cats and is very friendly, social and playful, however, if needed, I have the ability to separate animals that don’t get along to ensure their safety. About: I have taken care of all types of dogs for about 2 years. I have a dog of my own she is a handful but my whole world 🥹. I would love to be of help to anyone I can. I work part time at a grocery store. I mainly work nights so I get off anywhere between 9 and 11pm. So when trying to schedule check ins I would recommend scheduling the first check in later in the morning so there is less time in between each check in. I have a fenced in yard it’s fairly large enough room to run and play if needed I feel confident in my abilities to safely get your dog in a crate
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i’ve been alive! Growing up I have always been around animals and dogs! From bullies to dachshunds to great danes we’ve had them all. When my parents go out of town I am the one they rely on to take care of there four dogs and I also have two dachshunds of my own! About: As a Family I’ve been taking care of pets for over 40 years. We took in bunnies, parakeets, dogs, cats. Especially close to my heart are senior pets. I am retired but help out with school drop off and pick up for my grandkids and watch them when they are out of school. They are all pet lovers and respectful of pets. Olivia went seriously above and beyond for Kato during his stay (which was a last minute booking for Christmas too). Kato is a bigger, young bully, so he’s not always the easiest to handle.
