“This was our fur baby's first overnight without the presence of any family member. Marcia was very accommodating as our baby doesn't do good in confined spaces and kennel is not an option for him. After a trial visit at Marcia's house he came home and was happy which made us feel relieved. We tried doggie daycare before and he came home super anxious and seemed depressed. We will definitely use Marcia's services in the future because we love seeing our baby happy. Thank you Marcia for opening your home to our fur baby.”

About: I’m happy to serve Carteret County. I’ve grown up around all sorts of animals - dogs, cats, horses, chickens, etc. I’ve always loved animals. I also have experience with animals with special needs. I am interested in walking dogs and checking in on pets. About: I have taken care of many animals, mainly cats and dogs though! Ever since I could, I would help out with our family pets. As I got older, I started dog sitting for my neighbors and friends! In addition, I accepted the position of a veterinary assistant back in February of 2023, in which I gained lots of experience handling and providing care for many pets. I then went to college and minored in Assistance Dog Training, where I fostered and trained service dogs. While in college, I was a shift manager at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I not only cared for dogs, but we had cats and exotics stay with us! I was trained to not only care for these animals by keeping a safe and clean environment, but responsible for feeding and giving medications. I now landed in Starkville where I work at a doggie daycare and boarding facility where I care for multiple pups everyday! Now that I have graduated college, I will be doing this full time! That means I will have a lot of time to spend with your fur babies and meet the expectations you have in a dog sitter/ walker! I will be providing dog walking, drop in visits with your pets, in home daycare, and even boarding. I will accommodate your pets needs, whether that be taking your pup out on a leashed walk, or just simply letting them out in your yard to go potty and play! If your pet is less energetic, I would also love to just relax with them and make them feel comfortable while you are away.
