About: I have experience caring for senior pets, including a 19-year-old dog and a 22-year-old cat, and know how to provide them with the extra love and attention they need. Most visits are 15 to 30 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust for longer walks or extra playtime if your pet needs it—just let me know! When caring for pets in my clients' homes, the majority of visits include feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter, going for a walk, and playtime. I can also help with household tasks like bringing in mail and packages, as well as opening and closing curtains or turning lights on and off to make the home appear lived-in. Each visit is customized to meet the specific needs of your pet, whether it’s extra playtime, a longer walk, or special care for senior or special-needs pets. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at the same time if they live in the same household. At the end of each visit, I provide a summary of what happened and send multiple pictures of your pet so you can stay connected and know they’re well cared for while you’re away.

About: Hello! My name is Mackenzie. I have always loved animals, and I'm currently enjoying life with my lovely Samoyed, Nymeria (Meri). I typically work in biotech but was just recently laid off, so I am free to return to Rover once again! This means I have a very flexible schedule to provide whatever pet care services you require. I am very detail-oriented and will always ensure I have the information I need to do the best job possible. Please let me know if you have any questions! I have just been laid off from my 9 to 5, so I am currently building a new schedule for the first time in almost four years. My typical routine that I will be working around is always a minimum of three walks a day for my dog. We live next to Fresh Pond, which is basically dog and nature paradise (miles of nature trails and many other animals if you are unfamiliar). I am very deliberate in creating a space that is clean and free of hazards. I think having my dog has been instrumental in making me more aware of every possible thing an animal could get into, and I am naturally very mindful of safety in general. I am respectful of other people's homes - always acting like you are in front of other people is honestly just good general life advice if you think about it.

About: I am currently Research Scientist in between jobs who has spent a lot of my free time volunteering and fostering for animal advocate organizations. My first job ever was dog-sitting for my neighbor's chocolate and yellow labs when I was 9-10 years old. I have also been a cat-sitter for several friends from people I worked with in research to neighbors throughout the years. I will be very diligent in your instructions and will give your pet unconditional love and attention while they are in my care. Taking care of animals is a passion of mine and because of my fur children am very comfortable with any medical and behavioral needs that your fur babies may have. This includes providing medicines orally and as injections. I look forward to babysitting your pet for you!! I will have flexibility to accommodate the care that your pet will need. I just ask that enough notice is given to I can rearrange my schedule. If you choose to have your pet stay with me, our apartment is 1300 sq ft and enough room for them to roam and make themselves comfortable. There is also a dog park associated with the building that can be used for quick potty breaks if needed. If you choose to have me come to your home, I have means of travel with car and public transport.

About: I had 3 family dogs growing up I had a huge part in taking care of. One of them required diapers in his old age that I managed as well. I used to watch after neighbors dogs and house sit in high school for dogs who required walking, medications, and feeding. They were mainly labs and golden retrievers. I got my own personal dog almost 2 years ago now when she was a puppy so I am familiar with all stages of dogs from puppy to old age! My current and previous personal dogs take/took pill medication every day as well. I currently work Monday-Thursday from 11-4. Outside of those hours I am free and very flexible with times. I also have my own car so I can drive or take your pet places if necessary. I live in an apartment building with a golden doodle of my own who is crate trained. When I am home she roams freely and we go on frequent walks along the alewife trail. I can care for pets as desired and fulfill any requests needed!
