“We were so happy with Jamie's house sitting, we would ask her to stay with our dogs again in a heartbeat. We have two large (50+lb) dogs - one is very anxious, and the other is standoffish with new people, so I had been hesitant to bring an unknown person in to watch them while we were out of town. Jamie seemed to win them over with ease. During our meet & greet, my anxious dog was climbing up on her and demanding love by the time Jamie sat on the couch. And, partway through the week we were gone, we received a wonderful note from Jamie declaring that our standoffish dog was now accepting belly rubs (a status almost none of our relatives have reached!). Jamie was wonderful with text messages and pictures, and great about reaching out if she had any questions. But the proof is in the pudding - we came home to two amazingly happy, calm dogs, who had spent the week we were gone getting love and peanut butter from a fantastic dog sitter!”

About: I don't actually call myself that, that's what my friends say I am. I've literally never met a dog I didn't get on famously with. I respect the fact that they are individuals with their own needs. I don't mean to sound too self assured with the title, but I earned it from friends. Whether it's running on the Lake Michigan shore or just finding a nice sunny spot to sit for a while, your pup is going to have a fulfilling day. I have huge flexibility so no worries! A last minute trip or planned weeks in advance, we can work something out. I'm here for you! Even same day! I strive for communication as much as possible between animal and human. If they're not feeling like socializing, I don't force anything. Everyone has different needs. My experience in a dog daycare really helped me read and understand dog body language to head off any issues that may arise when you're watching 12 dogs.
“Elizabeth did the most fantastic job with our dog Annie. She was always fast to respond and sent multiple updates with pictures! Annie can be reactive and has grudges against many of our neighbors dogs so leaving her with someone new for neighborhood walks can be daunting. I felt completely confident in Elizabeth after one walk with her and Annie. We will absolutely be reaching back out to Elizabeth the next time we are looking for a rover! I hadn’t left my dogs with anyone new before, so I was a little nervous, but Rachel was sure to put me at ease and my dogs were in great hands! My senior dog ended up being on antibiotics at the time she stayed with them and she took great care of making sure he got his meds. They loved hanging out and snuggling with her - and she even sent me some pictures as an added bonus. ? Wish we could leave more than 5 stars! Alex was an amazing Rover find. She came to us and stayed at our house, keeping our dog comfortable and house safe and clean while we were away. She was extremely responsive and communication was so great, we got tons of pics and she even let us know if she’d be leaving for short stretches and when she was back (which was above and beyond!). We were all over the place with our plans (travel with kids, IYKYK)- possibly leaving later than planned and ended up coming back earlier than planned, and she was super flexible and pivoted with everything. Our dog LOVED her and they cuddled and went for plenty of walks. We were so appreciative to find someone like her and it made our time away so much easier, will definitely book again! Thanks Alex!
I was out of the country and needed a reliable person to help care for Olive during the daytime hours as my partner works long hours. Becca took the best care of Olive and she's so incredibly reliable!! She was always on time, took Olive on her walks, played with her, fed her and I didn't have to worry about anything. She also sent pics and videos of Olive which made being away from her a little bit easier. I can also tell in all of the pictures that Olive loves Becca and there's nothing better than knowing your pup is happy while you're out of town! Highly recommend Becca!!!
Talor recently stayed at my home and watched my French bulldog while I was on a work trip. She was amazing and sent the cutest pictures and updates on how things were going back home. I would definitely recommend Talor for your housesitting needs. Hazel cannot wait for her to come over again. :)
We ( and our girl Daisy) love having Yacob as a house/ dog sitter! He always does a great job taking care of her, is attentive to her needs and available when we check in with him. We always feel confident that Daisy is in great hands with Yacob when we are gone!
Ashley took such great care of our cats while we were away! She sent us pictures and an update everyday. She even printed out some of the photos and left them for us which was so sweet and unexpected! We will definitely be booking with Ashley again in the future!
Carrianne was a blessing when we first found her after our original dog sitter backed out. At the time, we had two dogs, one elderly dog with more needs and one young 2 year old pup. The first meet and greet when great. She completely understood our elderly dog's needs with mobility and was prepared to take care of both of our dogs when we would be gone for a week. Shortly before our trip, our elderly dog passed. Carrianne was open to another visit with just our younger dog and that went just as well. Unfortunately, we couldn't anticipate how our pup would be when we were gone and not have her buddy with her. Carrianne approached the unexpected behaviors with compassion and understanding, which is all we could ask for. She communicated frequently and was open to any problem solving solutions that would make our pup feel comfortable. She was open to working with our neighbor to give our puppy what she needed in the time of a big life transition for here, with unexpected/unanticipated behaviors while we were gone. If you are looking for someone who understands dogs and dogs needs, I highly recommend Carrianne.
This was our second time having Nikki watch our dog for a three night stay, and everything went great as usual. My dog was expertly cared for, walked twice/day, fed and loved. My house was cleaner than we left it! Will definitely hire Nikki again she was great and kept in communication with us during our trip. Thanks again, Nikki!
