“Elizabeth did the most fantastic job with our dog Annie. She was always fast to respond and sent multiple updates with pictures! Annie can be reactive and has grudges against many of our neighbors dogs so leaving her with someone new for neighborhood walks can be daunting. I felt completely confident in Elizabeth after one walk with her and Annie. We will absolutely be reaching back out to Elizabeth the next time we are looking for a rover! Thank you so much for the best first rover experience.”

“Maiah did a terrific job taking care of my dog. She gave us daily updates and photos, left the house clean and even stayed with my dog so she didn’t get lonely! Amazing!”

“10 stars needed! ❤️ left Keisha w/ a huge task!! She went above and beyond from every aspect ~ so accommodating… most importantly~ she took great care of the high maintenance rugrats and notably after being gone for 4 days ~ I know the dog didn’t leave the place spotless 😉 I’m a 1st timer on this app so I was anxious prior to our initial meet and great, having a stranger in your house and trusting them with your little loves was new for me.. No worries were needed… it couldn’t have been a more perfect experience!! ❤️”

About: I’ve been providing in-home dog sitting around the Milwaukee area for over three years, primarily through word-of-mouth referrals. I grew up with Labrador retrievers, and while life as a PhD student doesn’t allow me to have a dog of my own right now, dog sitting lets me enjoy the best of both worlds—caring for dogs while giving them consistent, attentive companionship. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who prefer a slower pace. I’m comfortable maintaining established routines, administering basic care, and making sure dogs feel calm, safe, and at home while their owners are away. I also take pride in caring for the home itself. I enjoy keeping a clean, organized space and always aim to leave homes as clean—or cleaner—than when I arrived. I’m happy to help with light household tasks while you’re away, such as bringing in mail, watering plants, or other small needs, so you can return to a well-kept home. I value clear communication and am happy to provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can travel with peace of mind knowing your dog—and your home—are in good hands. My academic schedule gives me a high degree of flexibility, and I’m able to work from home most days, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the dogs I care for. There are occasional times when I may need to step out for a few hours due to classes, meetings, or other commitments, but I always plan ahead and make sure dogs are comfortable, exercised, and settled before I leave. Most of my clients simply let me know the timeframes their dog needs to be let out, and I maintain a very organized schedule to ensure those needs are met. If I ever anticipate a conflict, I communicate with the family in advance before accepting the booking. I take an individualized approach to care, focusing on giving each dog what they need. I’ve worked with families who have young, energetic dogs as well as older dogs who prefer a slower, more relaxed routine, and I adjust my care accordingly. I’m personally very active, so I love going on walks, playing outside, or throwing a ball for dogs who enjoy staying busy. For dogs who are calmer or older, I’m just as happy to keep things low-key, follow their routine, and provide companionship at their pace. Most of my clients simply let me know what their dog needs—whether that’s exercise, frequent let-outs, medication reminders, or extra affection—and I make sure those needs are met. And of course, I’m always happy to give plenty of love and attention (if that’s what your dog enjoys!).
“Allie is great! We have three dogs and a cat, and each one of them is high maintenance in their own way- a senior with arthritis and a bit of doggie dementia, a double Merle who was born blind and deaf, has IBS, and is on anti-seizure meds, and a 3 year old with some anxiety issues and leash reactivity. To top it off, the cat is not a fan of strangers in his home. We haven’t had someone watch our pets since we moved to Grand Rapids because we didn’t know how in the world we would find someone up to the job! Allie came over for a meet and greet prior to watching them for a long weekend and it was clear right away that she had the energy, confidence and mindset to watch our crew. She sent pictures and notes throughout the weekend just to keep us updated, which was much appreciated since we were a bit anxious about leaving our crazy crew of pets in someone else’s care for the first time in a looong time! Allie was up for the challenge. We’re thrilled to have found her, and will definitely be asking her to come back!!”

“Travis was fantastic as our pet sitter. He was reliable, attentive, and genuinely cared for our pets. One of our dogs needed eye drops, and Travis handled it with ease. The pets were happy and well-cared for when we returned. Highly recommend!”

5 stars! This was our first time using Rover and I was so incredibly nervous about it since my dogs are my babies. Carole was so amazing with them, keeping them in their routine, loving on them, and sending updates throughout the long weekend. I was so appreciative that she spent so much time with them and our house was immaculate when we returned home. I'm so grateful to have found someone who will take the best care of my babies and will absolutely be rebooking Carole in the future.

It was our first time hiring Elizabeth and she was great! Even though it was cold, she suited up our walk obsessed pooch and took him out. She has great communication, followed our instructions as requested and left the house in perfect order. Would absolutely hire Elizabeth again.

Jessica did an excellent job woth my puppy Bailey. They were best buddies within days. She communicated with and sent me pictures of Bailey when I was on vacation. She followed all my directions and they did great. Jessica went out of her way to make the house nice for my return. She is coming back in February.

Jessica stayed at our home for the week and took the best care of Pickles and Brownie and allowed us to enjoy vacation to the fullest! She checked in throughout the day and sent lots of pictures. We never worried about the boys knowing they were being taken care of and given love while we were away. Definitely recommend Jessica for any walks or extended stays needed to care for your fur babies! So thankful!

Marilia communicated often sending updates and pictures, and was very open to our instructions and the pets’ daily routines. We felt good that Marilia would care for them well while we were able to focus on our flight process without having to worry if the pets were eating and going potty when they needed to. Thank you so much for looking after them!

Sarah did an excellent job. Cooper seemed to really take to her and seemed so happy in all of the pictures and videos she sent us. We have never really left him with anyone in the past and we were so relieved that she was so wonderful with him. She left our house in perfect shape and we really appreciated that. I would recommend Sarah to anyone in need of a sitter for their dog. Phil and Arlene Wesson
Christopher took amazing care dog sitting for my boy! He spent lots of time walking him outside even in the snow and cold, and made sure my pup was well-pet and played with while I was gone. My house was left in good condition and he followed all instructions to a T. 10/10 recommend

Lindsay was amazing with my puppy, Gennie. She was very flexible, punctual, and easy to communicate with throughout the day. Gennie was in a great mood when I got home and slept soundly afterward with no fuss at all—which tells me she had a wonderful, well-cared-for day. I’d absolutely trust Lindsay with her again.
