“We were so happy with Jamie's house sitting, we would ask her to stay with our dogs again in a heartbeat. We have two large (50+lb) dogs - one is very anxious, and the other is standoffish with new people, so I had been hesitant to bring an unknown person in to watch them while we were out of town. Jamie seemed to win them over with ease. During our meet & greet, my anxious dog was climbing up on her and demanding love by the time Jamie sat on the couch. And, partway through the week we were gone, we received a wonderful note from Jamie declaring that our standoffish dog was now accepting belly rubs (a status almost none of our relatives have reached!). Jamie was wonderful with text messages and pictures, and great about reaching out if she had any questions. But the proof is in the pudding - we came home to two amazingly happy, calm dogs, who had spent the week we were gone getting love and peanut butter from a fantastic dog sitter!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years, and I truly love getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and stay with their pets while they’re away. I especially enjoy longer stays because it gives dogs time to feel comfortable and settled, and I love being able to build that trust with them. One of my favorite parts is taking dogs on enriching walks, keeping them active, engaged, and happy, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to keep up with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship, especially during longer stays when consistency and routine are important. I always try to make pets feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking closely to their normal routine and giving them lots of attention and care. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs to make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m attentive on walks, respectful of clients’ homes, and committed to providing reliable communication and updates throughout each stay.

About: I can walk and feed your dog. I like hiking so I enjoy walking outside. If you have a fenced backyard, I'll scoop the poop in the whole yard when the dog is doing their business and then play with them in their favorite style of play. I can also drive them for vet, grooming, day care appointments subject to our agreement on these services. I live and work downtown Milwaukee, including some days that I work from home. I have a lot of extra time that I can spend with your animals. I will walk dogs on leashes unless the client has a fenced yard and specifically tells me it is ok to let the dog out there.
