About: I have grown up taking care of dogs and was lucky enough to be a mom to a sweet senior dog for 3 years. Currently I have two adopted cats who are the sweetest girls! I would love to care for your pet(s) and make them feel extra loved and safe while you’re away 🥰 I am available most days after work and most weekends to care for your dog or cat. About: I've loved cats for as long as I can remember. My first pet was a cat named Cindy, along with her sister, Soncy. A few years later we adopted a tabby named Oliver. I grew up with Cindy & Soncy for about 15 years, and once we adopted Oliver, we have had him for 10 years. I currently do not live with the cats anymore, now that I have adopted a dog. But I am very familiar with the everyday care that cats need, including feeding, litter boxes, playtime, affection, and giving them space when they want it. I know that every cat has a different personality and that some want constant attention while others are happiest doing their own thing. About: I don't actually call myself that, that's what my friends say I am. I've literally never met a dog I didn't get on famously with. I respect the fact that they are individuals with their own needs. I don't mean to sound too self assured with the title, but I earned it from friends. Whether it's running on the Lake Michigan shore or just finding a nice sunny spot to sit for a while, your pup is going to have a fulfilling day. I have huge flexibility so no worries! A last minute trip or planned weeks in advance, we can work something out. I'm here for you! Even same day! I strive for communication as much as possible between animal and human. About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I grew up with 6 other siblings and we always had animals around. I lost our beloved family dog about two years ago and I do not want to commit to raising another one since I like to travel. But on my down time, I am willing to walk your dog, spend time with them, and love them up as much as possible. I just recently got an apartment in Milwaukee to be closer to my family so I am looking for something to do and to help out an owner who may need it. I recently retired so I have a lot of flexibility, and a lot more time to spend at home and to care for your dog. About: I helped raise my own two family dogs and ensured that they were always walked, bathed, fed, and happy. It's also a habit of mine to go take the extra step like wiping my dogs and make sure they are clean after they've been outside. I've also taken care of my neighbor's dogs alongside our own family dogs, so I have experience handling multiple pets at once. I work full-time, Monday through Friday, while working from home 2-3 days a week. I also go to workout classes in the evening. Normally, if working from home, I take the dogs out for a walk in the morning. On other days, I take them for a walk in the evening. I normally take pets out 3 times a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and night. I make sure the dogs have a dedicated spot for food and bed. I have both a park and a dog park, 5-10 minutes away from my apartment, which I can take the pets to for a walk or some dog play time. There are also multiple yard-like grass areas where the dogs are meant to do their business. If pets stay with me for longer than two weeks, I bathe them every other week.

About: I have experience working with a wide range of different breed and sizes of dogs. I worked at a doggie daycare and it was an absolute joy. I have taken care of dogs since I was young. Been surrounded by pets my whole life! From dogs, cats, snakes, fish, hamsters, rabbits ect. People trusted me from a young age with their pets because they naturally floated towards me. About: From family pets, growing up on a farm, pet sitting in college, to multiple years taking care of animal ambassadors as a naturalist, I've been working with and caring for critters of all sorts for nearly as long as I can remember! About: I have had experience caring for many different kinds of animals throughout my life, such as dogs, horses, guinea pigs, and fish. I am comfortable and confident with walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I am a full-time grad student, and I also work a part-time job. My schedule is a little different each weekday, sometimes with breaks in the middle of the day. I am available all day on the weekends. I do not currently care for any pets in my home. I am not currently accepting jobs that require a pet to stay in my home.

About: I had dogs growing up and own two myself now. I just love our furry friends! Familiar with lap dogs, work dogs and hunting dogs. I have a great deal of experience with oral, eye and ear medications for dogs as well as being a nurse at a local hospital by trade. I have a flexible schedule that changes week to week, so I can arrange dog services to fit my work schedule before the week begins. I have a tendency to talk to my dogs, and others dogs, like a crazy person... but I promise I am not crazy. I find the level of attention they feel coming from you is amplified when you speak to them, even if they don't understand what you are saying, lol! I have an athletic dogs as well as a lap dog myself and I am therefore used to medium and high energy levels from them. My condo unit is filled with sun and nice and warm in the colder months. Dogs are allowed to roam when I am home and also my furniture is pet-friendly. I play catch and tug of war with one of my dogs and take them on walks daily. I am happy to do all the same things with someone's pet, or more if the particular dog requires.
About: Pet Care Experience: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have provided pet care for friends and family for several years and have experience through Rover providing walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I also have professional veterinary experience as a certified ER veterinary technician, where I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for animals in a medical setting. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, ear cleaning, administering medications as directed, and providing attentive general care. I have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with mobility challenges, including providing support when walking or going to the bathroom. I’m also comfortable following individualized care instructions for pets with additional needs. When an owner provides appropriate instructions for their particular pet, I’m comfortable assisting with tasks such as bandage changes or injections. While dogs are my primary area of experience, I’ve also cared for numerous cats through drop-ins and house sitting. I’m comfortable with feeding, playtime, litter box care, and cleaning up whatever messes they may leave behind. Above all, I treat every pet with patience, compassion, and the same care I would want for my own pets. Schedule: I’m currently attending school full-time, and pet sitting through Rover is my only job. During the school week, I spend my days near UW–Milwaukee and offer dog walking in the UWM/Shorewood area during the day and into the early evening. I’m also available for house sitting in the UWM/Shorewood area, including longer stays, and can continue attending classes while caring for your pets. On weekends, I’m based in Hartford and offer drop-in visits there. I keep my Rover calendar up to date so my availability is always accurate. Hartford-area clients: Drop-in visits can also include a walk! If your dog needs a walk rather than feeding or playtime, just let me know how you’d like the 30- or 60-minute visit used. Safety and Trust: My experience caring for dogs and cats, along with my professional veterinary experience, has taught me how important it is to understand each pet as an individual. During the meet and greet, I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, needs, and any special instructions so I can provide care that is safe, comfortable, and consistent with what they’re used to. My veterinary experience also gives me a valuable ability to recognize subtle changes in a pet’s behavior, appetite, energy level, mobility, or bathroom habits that could signal that something isn’t quite right. I know that pets, especially cats, can sometimes hide signs that they aren’t feeling well, so I pay close attention to changes from their normal behavior and will communicate promptly with you if I notice anything concerning. I believe meet and greets are extremely important, so I’m always happy to find a time to meet with pet parents before a booking. This gives you the opportunity to meet me, see how I interact with your pet(s), ask any questions or address concerns, and go over important details in person. During both house sittings and drop-ins, I provide plenty of updates, pictures, and information so you can feel confident that your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

I've been around animals my whole life and have experience working with rescue dogs. My mom also fosters dogs, and I've cared for many of her foster dogs while she's away. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all my life and finally got my own pup in 2023. I love all breeds, sizes and ages and cater my care specific to every dog’s needs. I am very patient and keep up with guidelines and research to ensure I’m doing my best as a dog mom and carer of animals in a daily basis. I’m currently between jobs and have flexibility every day. I love getting my steps in, so I am more than happy to take your pup on long walks and will happily provide drop in visits.
