About: I grew up with pets and have had my own dogs that I fully trained and cared for since I was 14 years old. Across the past 20 years, I’ve had 4 dogs ranging from golden labs to German shepherds to Golden Doodles. I am skilled in caring for dogs from puppy to senior age. Play in my fenced in back yard, long walks to the lake, and pup cups from Stone Creek Coffee are a few things your pet can expect if staying with me. I send frequent updates and pictures. I provide loving, reliable, tailored care for your pets. Hello! My name is Luke and I provide experienced, dependable, and tailored pet care. I am a university professor, so am completely free Monday-Sunday throughout the summer. I frequently go on at least 2 long walks during the day. I also have a fenced in yard for addition play and outside time. Because my schedule is so flexible, your pet will receive all my time and attention!! I have a fenced in back yard. I also have a 5 year old goldendoodle in the house who will quickly become your pets BEST friend. She is sweet, trained, well behaved, and so loving with other animals. Your pet will be in the house with me, allowed to roam, go on furniture, and enter the yard via a dog door at their leisure. If your dog is crate trained, please bring a crate with you for the visit. I am experienced with crate training so can easily manage it.

About: Hi! My name is Micayla! I’m 25 years old and just moved to the city of Milwaukee in June. I live in the Yankee Hill area and am an Elementary Ed teacher. This summer I am completing my masters online and take lots of breaks throughout the day to explore the city. I’ve owned dogs my whole life (sadly lost my fur baby back in November) and have plenty of experience pet sitting. I’m looking to start my journey on Rover by combining my two favorite pastimes which are going for walks and petting dogs! My hours during the week are super flexible, as I am only doing online schooling this summer! I am an early riser and am usually up with the sun at 6 and can take breaks whenever. I genuinely just love being around dogs and will protect them like they’re my own. I enjoy walking them on a leash or playing with them at the park (if they are trained off a leash)!

“My dogs are skittish and very high energy and Jamie handles them like a pro. Her calm energy calms my dogs and they trust her, and I trust her. She is accommodating and reliable and consistently goes above and beyond to help me with my dogs. I cannot say enough good things!”

“She did great Hunter came back as a very happy girl”

About: welcome! 🔔 please confirm you have read my profile entirely when sending your booking request 🔔 Dogs have been apart of my life for over 25 years. I learned body language, how to care for them, and how to be patient and communicate with them from my amazing Grandfather. They truly bring me joy! I treat each pup as if they’re my own during our time together. 🐾 I will do everything I can to accommodate your pup’s needs & your desires. Whether it’s walks vs runs in the yard, administering medication, or preparing food, if I’m able to do it consider it done! As a pet parent, I know how stressful it can be to find reliable care. With that in mind, I strive to provide the BEST care for your dog the first time in order to lighten your load; giving you the peace of mind knowing your fur baby is in excellent hands. 🐶 I no longer work remotely, so I’m not available for drop ins, walks, or daycare M - Th prior to 5PM. I am willing to board throughout the week, but please note your pup will be home alone for about 11 hours. Fri-Sun, I am available all hours. 🚨 MEET & GREETS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL SERVICES 🚨 Daycare & Boarding: - Please be mindful that I do have a dog of my own. If you know your dog does not do well with other dogs, please do not request a boarding or daycare. I am open to doing daycare in your home for the pups that prefer to be alone. request house sitting & I will adjust the rate! - my home is best suited for the chill guys and gals. lots of soothing music, lounging, & cuddles 💓. Honey Bun is very reserved inside & gets stressed around high energy dogs. To keep all involved happy & safe, please do not book daycare or boarding if your dog is an energizer bunny. I will be glad to drop in, walk, or do daycare in your home though! 😃 - I have a secured, fenced in yard. I am not willing to take any dog to the dog park. Both the front and back doors have additional doors down the stairs, so the chance of an escape is very close to zero! - I crate all dogs when I’m leaving the home, including Honey B even though she typically is not crated. in special situations, I’m okay leaving your dog to roam a designated area, but that is rare and will be discussed prior to the booking. - I do not have any guests while your dog is in my care. Drop Ins/Walks/House Sitting: - I ask that no other humans are in your home when I come over for drop ins, walks, or housesitting unless previously discussed. - Please book a drop in if care outside of walking is needed. - Please assure all animals that need care are listed individually on your profile. I love surprises, but not when it comes to this! - When coming into your home, I will always leave it just as I found it. I will only enter authorized areas as necessary to care for your pet(s). Please assure that all supplies are provided. 🐾 - We will discuss specific schedules for each housit. Some people prefer longer day time care with no overnight, or moderate daytime care + nights. We will workout the perfect schedule for you, your pup, and me 😊. I am NOT available for constant care (24 hours) as I will need to check in with my own dog & maintain my personal life with errands + self care.

“First time using Rover! Excellent experience. Travis was awesome. Prior to her first walk with him, he came over for a meet and greet which was very helpful. Right away, Whinnie could tell he was a dog lover. He also was very responsive to all of my questions I had in person and via the app. We will definitely use him again! It is such a good feeling to know our pup is being taken care of.”

About: I had dogs growing up and own two myself now. I just love our furry friends! Familiar with lap dogs, work dogs and hunting dogs. I have a great deal of experience with oral, eye and ear medications for dogs as well as being a nurse at a local hospital by trade. I have a flexible schedule that changes week to week, so I can arrange dog services to fit my work schedule before the week begins. I have a tendency to talk to my dogs, and others dogs, like a crazy person... but I promise I am not crazy. I find the level of attention they feel coming from you is amplified when you speak to them, even if they don't understand what you are saying, lol! I have an athletic dogs as well as a lap dog myself and I am therefore used to medium and high energy levels from them. My condo unit is filled with sun and nice and warm in the colder months. Dogs are allowed to roam when I am home and also my furniture is pet-friendly. I play catch and tug of war with one of my dogs and take them on walks daily. I am happy to do all the same things with someone's pet, or more if the particular dog requires.

About: I have been around multiple cats, birds, and large dogs my whole life. I have years of experience taking care of all 3 types of animals due to this, along with the true love and passion I carry for all living creatures. I find taking my dogs on long walks not only therapeutic for myself, but for them as well. And who can resist cat love and cuddles! I treat my pets as my children, so it is more of myself fitting into their routine. My fur baby is named Ralph Waldo Picklechips, and he gets fed breakfast every morning at 7am and dinner at 8pm without fail. They have no problem letting me know if I am a little late. Every day is play day as research has fully shown that engaging with your animal daily is not just beneficial for them physically, but mentally as well. I understand that every home and animal owner has a different set of rules for their furry one’s care. My animals are very loved and their care is reflected with this. All of my animals are up to date on all vaccinations and medical appointments. I even have a cat with urinary issues that requires special food. Even though the food is expensive, I am always willing to pay for it because it is what is best for his health. I will treat your animals with the same love and care that I give my own and am willing to go above and beyond to accommodate any pet owner’s specific rules or requests.

“Kathryn was outstanding. She was great with my pup and was extremely personable. I can’t wait to utilize her for any future dog sitting/walking needs!”

About: I have been taking care of my own dog for the past 12 years. Over the past two years I have been helping care for my neighbors pets, by walking, feeding, training, and dog sitting. I currently work with four dogs I am a collage student, and have a flexible weekday and weekend schedule. I am available for drop in visits, as well as walks, feeding and play time with pets I understand how important furry friends are. I take great care in providing safe walks, and play time. I follow instructions carefully in all aspects of pet care.

About: Hello! My name is Madelyne Rose. I grew up having an English Pointer pup which meant frequent walks, play time, clean up, feeding, and grooming. I had a large yard growing up and was able to play catch with Riley for hours. I now have my own little guy who just turned one! His name is Kenzo. He’s a high energy mixed breed rescue who’s 15 pounds. He’s very engaging, super social, and a complete ball of energy! He loves every dog he encounters, and just about every person. I take him on two walks per day, while providing him fun brain games and get together with other pups! I own my own store and have very flexible hours. I am able to provide pop ins, stay over night, keep dogs overnight, or simply walk your pup at the convenience of your schedule. With enough days notice, I can plan my work schedule around your dogs needs. I will never take a dog off leash or allow for roaming or non-enclosed spaces. I do not let my dog roam or go off leash myself, and will not risk that for anyone else’s precious pup either! I prioritize one on one play that’s safe and controlled in a fenced back yard or in someone’s spacious home (yours or mine). I prefer walking my dog vs taking them to the dog park due to safety concerns and variable with other dogs I do not know.

About: I've been taking care of my friends, family and neighbors dogs for as long as I can remember. Anything from daily to week long periods I have fed, walked, and cared for those animals, as well as overnight stays at either my home or theirs. Pet care fits extremely well into my routine, I am an online college student with a majority of free time and flexibility. I am typically up early and readily available most of the time. I remain especially cleanly in my own home and clients, making sure to clean/ tidy up after the pet as well as stay attentive to their needs. Another way I care for pets is by enjoying their company, talking, playing and interacting with them on walks and at home to make sure they are safe, happy and attended to.

About: My family had owned/fostered dogs my whole life so I’m very familiar with all kids of dogs, young and old. I have experience volunteering at dog shelters and adopted one from that same shelter! I’m a very flexible person and can deal with even the trickiest of dogs. I’m working part-time this summer and will have time to stop by and play depending on your schedule. I’m a pretty flexible person and open to spending the night if needed! I adore dogs and love cuddling them and playing with them! my dog at home is pretty tricky and likes to turn bedtime and going inside into a game so I’m very used to that. I can walk dogs just fine, and if they need any special attention I am happy to help.

“Nicole has walked my dog daily this week. She is reliable and responsive. Bluffer and I appreciate Nicole!”

About: Hi I'm Katie! I have been a pet lover since the day I was born, as my parents adopted a golden retriever just months after I came along and gave her the second choice name they had for me. Since then, our house was full of pets- our family included 2-3 dogs at all times (from a terrier/chihuahua mix to several malamutes, our favorite breed) in addition to a cat, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats (so many rats, all named Oreo), and snakes. I grew up helping care for all of these and have adopted 4 cats as an adult (caring for up to 3 at one time). I am attentive, caring, patient, and consistent in my approach to pet care. Outside of my home, I love to meet and get to know new animals, and think it is very important to take your time to watch, listen, and learn their preferences. I know how worrisome it can be to leave your pets behind while traveling or at work for long days, so I aim to ease stress for not only your pet but for you as well with clear communication and detailed updates! You can trust that I will give your pet the love and safety they deserve while you are away. I am currently self-employed doing home renovations so my schedule is very flexible. I occasionally need to be around at specific times to assist my carpenter but for the most part can visit your pet at any time of day (within my listed hours). I consider myself a friend to all people, pets, insects, etc. I have a deep understanding of how to make shy pets feel comfortable - I have to rebuild trust with my parent’s chihuahua/terrier mix every time I see her! I also understand, particularly with cats, that gaining trust is a slow and intentional process and I consider myself well attuned to comfort and behavior signals in both dogs and cats.

About: I grew up on my family's therapeutic horsemanship farm, helping care for and raise all sorts of critters. I've got experience with cats and dogs, as well as many other types of critters. Animal care has been a part of my daily routine since I was a very young kid. I've cared for all ages of animals- from the joys of brand new life, all the way to helping senior animals in their final chapters. Growing up on the farm we took care of a majority of the vet care ourselves, meaning I have knowledge on a deeper level than the average pet owner. I love critters of all kinds, and can't wait for the opportunity to get to know you and your pet! I work part time as a music teacher, and have a fairly flexible schedule. I am most available in the evenings and weekends, but it really depends on the day or week. Bottom line, communication is key- if your plans change just let me know and I will do my best to make it work! I prefer to care for animals in their home environment, as that's where they are most comfortable. When providing daytime care, I will make sure that your fur babies get what they need while you're away. Anything I can do to help you and your critters feel comfortable with my care, I am flexible!

“I’ve known Luke for over fifteen years, and honestly, any pet would be lucky to hang out with him. He’s an incredibly loving, responsible, and attentive person. As a dog dad, he understands how important it is to provide both structure and affection. What really stands out is how playful he is with his dog Harley! Whether it’s playing with her favorite toys at home, going on long walks, or just giving her so much love and cuddles. I would trust him with my pets in a heartbeat. He treats every animal like his own, with patience, warmth, and whole lot of love.”

“Micayla is an avid dog lover who can't walk around her city without saying hi to every dog she sees. She grew up with dogs and is very familiar with their innate behaviors, unique personalities, and specific care needs. Micayla was so devoted to our family dog, Zuma, that she drafted a 9-page binder of care instructions (mostly just cute photos of Zuma) for anyone looking after her when we were out of town. She is a gentle but firm and attentive leader that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a caregiver who is as obsessed with their dog as they are.”

Quinesha F.
“I have a dog named Eugene (8 y/o Rot meds twice daily) and Quin took great care of him. Eugene was always fed, watered, walked, pooped. Durning winter sittings she wiped off his paws when he came into my apartment. And she could sit from my apartment (after a few sitting I trusted who started out as a stranger with a key to my place). He also stayed with her a few times. I SWEAR this boy was better for HER than he is EVER for his MOM!”

Cambridge Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Rhonda was able to take a last minute booking and help us out. She is reliable and takes Bailey on a good 30 minute walk!

Aubrey did a great job communicating when she had issues getting into our apartment. She was able to get in and let Sunny out to go potty which is exactly what we needed!

Our dog Shawnee loved going for her daily walk with Adrienne. She is going to miss her terribly! I would recommend Adrienne to anyone!

Stephanie is awesome! He is extremely communicative throughout the entire process and truly goes above and beyond. It seems like he really cares about animals and he was great with taking care of my dog while I was out of town. If I could give him more stars, I would!

Lauren was quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and great with our dog, Boomer. Definitely recommend!

Jenna does an amazing job always! She is great at communicating and understanding expectations, along with doing so good with my pup. Would recommend her to anyone

She’s amazing. My dogs are horrible on leash (I got them both well into their adulthood) and she does some training with them. Would hire her again.

Genevieve was absolutely amazing with my dog (Malibu)! Malibu was shaking & scared from a stranger, but by the second visit Genevieve gained her trust and was able to take her outside. Genevieve was so sweet and patient with Malibu. She also communicated her progress each day with us to let us know how it went.
