About: I have pet sit for a number of family and friends growing up. This is just my first time dabbling in an official pet-sitting service. I am a reliable, transparent sitter dedicated to the health and happiness of your pet. I do work a full-time job Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. However, I am ready and willing to commute to work during the weekdays for house-sitting I am a clean, respectful house-sitter capable of performing small house-keeping tasks if needed. I am also very transparent and willing to give periodic updates during my stay.
“Travis is so kind and knowledgeable, I felt comfortable with him right away. My dogs were also comfortable with him very quickly and that means a great deal to me. He has been reliable and a great communicator.”

“Met with Maggie for a meet and greet and a walk. Maggie was very responsive and prompt. She was communicative in the app, providing pictures and updates on their potty breaks as well. I’m looking forward to working with her again.”

“My dogs are skittish and very high energy and Jamie handles them like a pro. Her calm energy calms my dogs and they trust her, and I trust her. She is accommodating and reliable and consistently goes above and beyond to help me with my dogs. I cannot say enough good things!”
“Carrianne was able to help us with a last minute walk for our dog. She took the time to stop by the day before to meet him. We appreciated the help and would book her again if the chance comes up!”

About: I have experience working with a wide range of different breed and sizes of dogs. I worked at a doggie daycare and it was an absolute joy. I have taken care of dogs since I was young. Been surrounded by pets my whole life! From dogs, cats, snakes, fish, hamsters, rabbits ect. People trusted me from a young age with their pets because they naturally floated towards me. From small dogs to big ones. I have taken care of family dogs and friends of family pets. I always volunteered to do anything that involved animals. Not only do I currently handle dogs as my job but I also do baths! I took care of horses and other farm animals down in SC when I would visit family. My family are know to have ranches so animals have been a keen part of my life I'm taking a break from my part-time at a doggy daycare so I got plenty of hours for you dogs needs! I'm available all week for majority of day. I'm able to follow regular routines if informed by my clients in order to minimize confusion and be more comforting for the pets. When it comes to my client's medications for their dogs, I am punctual with how it's administered to their dog. If given permission, I'd bring treats and have them do fun little tricks to build trust between the pets so I'm not just a stranger
About: am practiced in staying calm and asserting to the animal what is needed. I believe in the magical non-verbal communication between humans and animals and build trust with energy that meets when where they are at as I do working as a therapist. I also enjoy celebrating their little victories, taking lots of pictures and talking to them, but not as a child. Sundays 7-9:30PM; Wednesdays 9AM-noon, then 6-7:30PM I am open to special requests and can be flexible on these days as well as we build a relationship. Cats have adopted me and I have adopted them since my family acquired my great grandmother's big Tabby cat, Tuffy at a young age. I adore my full purr cuddles, Gibbous Moon Boy, who is a Russian Blue and Mimi, our protective, full queen tuxedo. I enjoy attuning to creative stimulation and cleanliness of indoor cats and the tender ways in which they greet you with grace and ease. My experience includes deep-cleaning of litter boxes and communicating concerns notable in and around the litter box that may need communication with a vet or adjusting for multiple cats.
About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was born: a black lab and then two beagles! It was often my responsibility to care for them until my parents got home and we’ve pet sit ourselves before too. I love dogs, so I’d love to help anyone out who has one! I reserve my bookings just for weekends, as I’m busy pretty much all day and night throughout the week! I keep myself very busy! I would love to check in on your pet during the weekends though! It would be my pleasure! I always make sure that the pets are well attended to and that they are my priority. They will always have the appropriate food and attention necessary for them.
“Mika is great! They are incredibly caring and good with my dog. They have helped tremendously with his loose leash walking while making sure he gets lots of energy out. My dog loves them!”

About: I have taken care of animals all my life. I have experience with cats, dogs, birds, and reptiles. Everyone I work with is guaranteed to be satisfied and well taken care of. My passion for taking care of animals goes beyond making sure their basic needs are met. My 7+ years of volunteer work at cat shelters and 10+ years of pet sitting are perfect for any kind of pet regardless of their needs. I am currently a full time student, so in between classes, I am able to stop by and take care of your critters. I have two cats of my own and understand the importance of routine. I am flexible and caring when it comes to taking care of your furry family. I always let the dog or cat drive the interaction. I am safe, friendly, and patient when entering a home or approaching a new situation. I always come prepared.
About: Pet Care Experience: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have provided pet care for friends and family for several years and have experience through Rover providing walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I also have professional veterinary experience as a certified ER veterinary technician, where I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for animals in a medical setting. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, ear cleaning, administering medications as directed, and providing attentive general care. I have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with mobility challenges, including providing support when walking or going to the bathroom. I’m also comfortable following individualized care instructions for pets with additional needs. When an owner provides appropriate instructions for their particular pet, I’m comfortable assisting with tasks such as bandage changes or injections. While dogs are my primary area of experience, I’ve also cared for numerous cats through drop-ins and house sitting. I’m comfortable with feeding, playtime, litter box care, and cleaning up whatever messes they may leave behind. Above all, I treat every pet with patience, compassion, and the same care I would want for my own pets. Schedule: I’m currently attending school full-time, and pet sitting through Rover is my only job. During the school week, I spend my days near UW–Milwaukee and offer dog walking in the UWM/Shorewood area during the day and into the early evening. I’m also available for house sitting in the UWM/Shorewood area, including longer stays, and can continue attending classes while caring for your pets. On weekends, I’m based in Hartford and offer drop-in visits there. I keep my Rover calendar up to date so my availability is always accurate. Hartford-area clients: Drop-in visits can also include a walk! If your dog needs a walk rather than feeding or playtime, just let me know how you’d like the 30- or 60-minute visit used. Safety and Trust: My experience caring for dogs and cats, along with my professional veterinary experience, has taught me how important it is to understand each pet as an individual. During the meet and greet, I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, needs, and any special instructions so I can provide care that is safe, comfortable, and consistent with what they’re used to. My veterinary experience also gives me a valuable ability to recognize subtle changes in a pet’s behavior, appetite, energy level, mobility, or bathroom habits that could signal that something isn’t quite right. I know that pets, especially cats, can sometimes hide signs that they aren’t feeling well, so I pay close attention to changes from their normal behavior and will communicate promptly with you if I notice anything concerning. I believe meet and greets are extremely important, so I’m always happy to find a time to meet with pet parents before a booking. This gives you the opportunity to meet me, see how I interact with your pet(s), ask any questions or address concerns, and go over important details in person. During both house sittings and drop-ins, I provide plenty of updates, pictures, and information so you can feel confident that your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I had dogs growing up and own two myself now. I just love our furry friends! Familiar with lap dogs, work dogs and hunting dogs. I have a great deal of experience with oral, eye and ear medications for dogs as well as being a nurse at a local hospital by trade. I have a flexible schedule that changes week to week, so I can arrange dog services to fit my work schedule before the week begins. I have a tendency to talk to my dogs, and others dogs, like a crazy person... but I promise I am not crazy. I find the level of attention they feel coming from you is amplified when you speak to them, even if they don't understand what you are saying, lol! I have an athletic dogs as well as a lap dog myself and I am therefore used to medium and high energy levels from them. My condo unit is filled with sun and nice and warm in the colder months. Dogs are allowed to roam when I am home and also my furniture is pet-friendly. I play catch and tug of war with one of my dogs and take them on walks daily. I am happy to do all the same things with someone's pet, or more if the particular dog requires.
“Needed someone to look after my dog while I was working during the holidays and Gabi did a great job at looking after him and sending updates. Would absolutely recommend and book again!”

About: From family pets, growing up on a farm, pet sitting in college, to multiple years taking care of animal ambassadors as a naturalist, I've been working with and caring for critters of all sorts for nearly as long as I can remember! For critters in the pet category, I have been caring for indoor cats since 2018, from kittens to seniors and every stage in between, including administering medications. My family has had medium/large dogs (rottweilers, labs, and border collie and boxer mixes) my whole life but I have also pet sat for smaller breeds like Boston terriers and cavalier king Charles spaniels. My time as a naturalist gave me experience working with not only varied species, but varied personalities. From grumpy skunks to mischievous snakes and dramatic birds, I have extensive experience across the gambit. It also provided experience with very specific care instructions and detailed documentation. I like to provide pet parents with a thorough summary of my time with their pet so they don't have to worry while they're away. My schedule varies week to week from periods of no availability to periods of open availability, I will make sure to keep things updated so you know what to expect! In fall of 2025, I finished my 2,200+ mile thru hike of the Appalachian Trail. What does that mean for pet care? I LOVE to walk and do so whenever I get the chance! I would love to have your pet join me! I am very detail oriented and will follow your care instructions to a T! I also provide my pet parents a detailed summary of my visit for peace of mind, every time!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cambridge Heights
I needed a walker yesterday because I couldn’t be physically away from my home, so I was there when Andrew arrived. He texted when he was on his way, arrived promptly, and spent a couple of extra minutes greeting Rosie, on her level, letting her check him out and get comfortable with him - I was pleased. When they were out walking, a friend happened to see them and called me to tell me that she was impressed with how patient and gentle he was with her. He obviously made a positive impression on Rosie because she was very excited when he returned in the afternoon for her 2nd walk. I will definitely use Andrew for my future needs.
I’ve booked Max a few times to walk my sweet dog blue while I have long days at work. He is SO happy to see him each time. Brings me such peace of mind knowing my boy blue is taken care of, loved and gets to go potty and throw ball while I’m working long days. We will continue to choose Max anytime I need mid day support. Bonus pictures of blue throughout his walk are so sweet. Thank you, max!!! 🫶🏼
