About: I love nurturing all living things from children (although I am not yet a parent to a human), to plants and animals alike! I tend to put all living things before my own needs to prioritize their well-being. In addition, I recently took in a crested gecko and have learned so much about caring for reptiles as well. Everyday before leaving my apartment I make sure that both of my pets have plenty of food and water. In addition, I check to ensure that my plants are out of reach from my cat and that my bioactive terrarium is maintaining humidity. I care for pets by making sure they have food, water, a clean liter box, a moist environment, and get taken out for potty breaks depending on which animal I am caring for. I am willing to care for your pets with the same considerations in mind.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years, and I truly love getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and stay with their pets while they’re away. I especially enjoy longer stays because it gives dogs time to feel comfortable and settled, and I love being able to build that trust with them. One of my favorite parts is taking dogs on enriching walks, keeping them active, engaged, and happy, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. About: Hi! I’m Eva, and I’m a student at UWM studying biology on the pre-veterinary track. I volunteer at the humane society weekly and am just the biggest animal lover- cats AND dogs :) I currently work part time and my hours fluctuate a lot - sometimes I open from 5am until the afternoon and sometimes I close until 6pm- so flexibility is key! I try to keep my dog active and take her on a 1-2 mile walk every day. We go to parks, hiking trails, or just areas around my neighborhood so she gets different scenery and smells. She has a set “dinner” and “breakfast” time every day and I am always sure to keep her full and happy.

We have rescued all of our pets from shelters and I have loved their unique personalities, although sometimes challenging! Maebelle is skittish and crazy affectionate while Nina can be a bit of a bully and a sweetheart at the same time. They have brought a lot of joy to my house. I love big dogs, small dogs, mutts, and purebreds. If you interviewed my pets, they would tell you, "Melanie? Oh yeah, she's the best!" You can be assured your dogs will be in good hands with me.

I am a counselor full time working to give your dog a little extra joy and comfort. With 20 years of experience caring for dogs, I have the skills and experience to take exceptional care of your baby. If you are looking for someone to sing songs and hype your dog up with affirmations, I am the right person for you! I am available 6-7am and 5-8pm weekdays until June. From June to August, my availability will expand to 6am-9pm. I have varying availability on weekends. I am a diligent person and will make sure to leave your space how I found it! If I notice anything out of sorts, such as a puppy chewing a new rug, I will let you know.
