About: Hi there! I am a former pet groomer with lifelong experience loving animals of all kinds! I have worked with senior animals, puppies, cats, and combative animals with professionalism and levity for 5+ years. I am super excited to get to know you and your animals. I am currently working summer camp jobs, and therefore have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am very excited to get to spend plenty of time with animals while I navigate a new move to the area! My previous job as a pet grooming assistant as well as babysitting animals in the past has given me a lot of experience in keeping animals safe and comfortable. I work extremely hard to understand animal behavior and body language in order to respect animals boundaries. I also prioritize safety when caring for other people’s animals because that is someone’s baby! It is important to me to do a job well, and that includes maintaining safety and care for all animals.
About: I love nurturing all living things from children (although I am not yet a parent to a human), to plants and animals alike! I tend to put all living things before my own needs to prioritize their well-being. In addition, I recently took in a crested gecko and have learned so much about caring for reptiles as well. Everyday before leaving my apartment I make sure that both of my pets have plenty of food and water. In addition, I check to ensure that my plants are out of reach from my cat and that my bioactive terrarium is maintaining humidity. I care for pets by making sure they have food, water, a clean liter box, a moist environment, and get taken out for potty breaks depending on which animal I am caring for. I am willing to care for your pets with the same considerations in mind.
“Katie was fantastic! She walked our dog Lola on short notice and was incredibly accommodating. She was punctual, kept great communication throughout, and you could tell she was genuinely excited to spend time with our dog. Highly recommend Katie and will definitely be booking with her again!”

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind dog walker!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years, and I truly love getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and stay with their pets while they’re away. I especially enjoy longer stays because it gives dogs time to feel comfortable and settled, and I love being able to build that trust with them. One of my favorite parts is taking dogs on enriching walks, keeping them active, engaged, and happy, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to keep up with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship, especially during longer stays when consistency and routine are important. I always try to make pets feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking closely to their normal routine and giving them lots of attention and care. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs to make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m attentive on walks, respectful of clients’ homes, and committed to providing reliable communication and updates throughout each stay.
“Sheila was wonderful!! Always on time and so sweet with our little dog. She kept me up to date and sent pictures everyday. She made our time away stress free. I look forward to working with her again!”

“Mika was amazing. They took the time to connect with my boy. My boy is hesitant about letting people getting him out of the crate and Mika was so sweet with Salvador. We will definitely be booking with them again!”

“My puppy girl is always so excited to see Kayla for her walks! Kayla is great! She is an excellent communicator and has been reliable. I can tell she is good with my puppy based on how long they are able to walk for and the sweet pictures Kayla sends of her. Seriously the best dog photographer out there which is an added perk ;)”
About: Hi! I’m Eva, and I’m a student at UWM studying biology on the pre-veterinary track. I volunteer at the humane society weekly and am just the biggest animal lover- cats AND dogs :) I currently work part time and my hours fluctuate a lot - sometimes I open from 5am until the afternoon and sometimes I close until 6pm- so flexibility is key! I try to keep my dog active and take her on a 1-2 mile walk every day. We go to parks, hiking trails, or just areas around my neighborhood so she gets different scenery and smells. She has a set “dinner” and “breakfast” time every day and I am always sure to keep her full and happy.
About: Your dog will be treated like family! My name is Melanie Hobbs and I would love to get to know your pets. I grew up with multiple dogs and cats and I've never been without them in my life. We have rescued all of our pets from shelters and I have loved their unique personalities, although sometimes challenging! Maebelle is skittish and crazy affectionate while Nina can be a bit of a bully and a sweetheart at the same time. They have brought a lot of joy to my house. I love big dogs, small dogs, mutts, and purebreds. If you interviewed my pets, they would tell you, "Melanie? Oh yeah, she's the best!" You can be assured your dogs will be in good hands with me.
About: I am a compassionate and positive person who has endless love to give to your dog, who I know is an important member of your family. I am a counselor full time working to give your dog a little extra joy and comfort. With 20 years of experience caring for dogs, I have the skills and experience to take exceptional care of your baby. If you are looking for someone to sing songs and hype your dog up with affirmations, I am the right person for you! I am available 6-7am and 5-8pm weekdays until June. From June to August, my availability will expand to 6am-9pm. I have varying availability on weekends. I am a diligent person and will make sure to leave your space how I found it! If I notice anything out of sorts, such as a puppy chewing a new rug, I will let you know.
Riverside Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
This is the third time we have had Emily come help take care of our dog and I have nothing but great things to share. She is always on time, sends great pictures, but most importantly I know that she is attentive to our dog and her needs. For example, a few weeks ago, Emily watched our dog for a weekend when we were out of town. At that time, I gave instructions to let the dog out in the backyard before going on the first walk of the day because our dog always has a few zoomies first thing in the morning and it will make the walk smoother. When she came to do an AM walk this time, she remembered about the zoomies and let our dog out back for a few minutes before heading out. I hadn’t remembered to remind Emily of that, so it felt great knowing that she took initiative and catered to our dog’s specific habits/needs. Additionally, I had a neighbor share (unprompted) that they noticed how wonderful the interactions were between Emily and our dog. They said that they heard Emily talking to our dog when they were together and really focused on her, not just going through the movements of taking a dog for a walk. I will continue to book Emily and can confidently recommend her.

Jessica is fantastic! She is on time, gives my dogs a good walk and excellent care and is 100% reliable. She notifies me if something out of the ordinary happened (like my dog counter surfing and eating a pie!) and even brought in a package that was left by my door. I’m so glad we found her.

Steven was fantastic! As a first-time dog owner, I’ve never left my puppy alone or with anyone else until now, so this was a big step for me. I’m so grateful to have found someone I (and Moose!) trust and feel comfortable with. He took great care of Moose, and it definitely showed - Moose is happy and completely worn out after the day. Thank you for taking such good care of him!

Elise walks my dog twice a week, and it’s been a fantastic experience. She is friendly, reliable, and genuinely loves dogs. My dog took to her right away and looks forward to her visits. I also appreciate the reports, pictures, and consistency—she go above and beyond. Highly recommend to anyone looking for dog walker!
