About: I don't actually call myself that, that's what my friends say I am. I've literally never met a dog I didn't get on famously with. I respect the fact that they are individuals with their own needs. I don't mean to sound too self assured with the title, but I earned it from friends. Whether it's running on the Lake Michigan shore or just finding a nice sunny spot to sit for a while, your pup is going to have a fulfilling day. I have huge flexibility so no worries! A last minute trip or planned weeks in advance, we can work something out. I'm here for you! Even same day! I strive for communication as much as possible between animal and human. If they're not feeling like socializing, I don't force anything. Everyone has different needs. My experience in a dog daycare really helped me read and understand dog body language to head off any issues that may arise when you're watching 12 dogs.

About: Pet Care Experience: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have provided pet care for friends and family for several years and have experience through Rover providing walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I also have professional veterinary experience as a certified ER veterinary technician, where I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for animals in a medical setting. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, ear cleaning, administering medications as directed, and providing attentive general care. On weekends, I’m based in Hartford and offer drop-in visits there. I keep my Rover calendar up to date so my availability is always accurate. Hartford-area clients: Drop-in visits can also include a walk! If your dog needs a walk rather than feeding or playtime, just let me know how you’d like the 30- or 60-minute visit used. Safety and Trust: My experience caring for dogs and cats, along with my professional veterinary experience, has taught me how important it is to understand each pet as an individual. During the meet and greet, I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, needs, and any special instructions so I can provide care that is safe, comfortable, and consistent with what they’re used to. My veterinary experience also gives me a valuable ability to recognize subtle changes in a pet’s behavior, appetite, energy level, mobility, or bathroom habits that could signal that something isn’t quite right. I know that pets, especially cats, can sometimes hide signs that they aren’t feeling well, so I pay close attention to changes from their normal behavior and will communicate promptly with you if I notice anything concerning. I believe meet and greets are extremely important, so I’m always happy to find a time to meet with pet parents before a booking. This gives you the opportunity to meet me, see how I interact with your pet(s), ask any questions or address concerns, and go over important details in person. During both house sittings and drop-ins, I provide plenty of updates, pictures, and information so you can feel confident that your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I am a huge lover of all animals and have had several pets growing up, but mostly dogs. I have taken care of my childhood dog (black lab) for 10 years which included walking, feeding, grooming, playing, and socializing with other humans/animals. Also, I have taken care of multiple friend’s dogs while they were away from home. Usually, when my friends go on vacation I'm the first person they call to provide my services. I have been told by others that I have a calm demeanor which pairs well with all animals. While you’re away your furry friend will be well loved in the comfort of your home and will continue to stay on their normal schedule or routine as I can accommodate most! About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and was deeply involved in the training and care of my last dog, taking on the role of primary caregiver. I’m comfortable working with dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, and I understand the unique needs each stage of life brings. Since moving away from home for school, I’ve missed having dogs around and am eager to bring them back into my life. I am currently in PA school!
