“Ilene was great! We have a foster cat in quarantine with an infection and wanted someone to spend time with him while we were out of town. Ilene was able to give him some quality time and attention, he was a happy camper. The updates we got were good and the photos were perfect. Thank you!”

“Best sitter ever! Very grateful for all of Hope’s help feeding & playing with my kitty while I’m away. Hope leaves very detailed notes and many photos, which is very helpful knowing my pet is in good hands. My kitty loves Hope and will cuddle with her when she comes to visit, which is a sign of a loving sitter. 1000% rebooking & recommend Hope to all!!”

“Carole was so wonderful taking care of our Maggie! She was very timely and responsive, sent us lots of pictures and videos, and listened to exactly what our girl needed. Even when our flight got delayed multiple hours, she was willing to stop in for an extra visit on such short notice. Couldn’t recommend Carole enough! Thank you so much!”

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life. Every time I get the opportunity to watch a fur baby, I treat them like they are my own. I have done some dog/puppy training as well, and I've always gotten great reviews on what one's pet can do by the time they go home (If interested) My schedlue is fairly flexible. I am able to move clients around depending on your availability. This is my full-time gig as of now, so I take lots of pride in the care I provide to your pet(s). I have currently moved to Riverwest, this came with a fenced in backyard (yayyyy)! I live close to lots of parks, dog park (Rover west), and trails.
“Emily was quick and responsive to a last minute drop in request. She provided a thorough note after her visit letting me know how they spent their time and my pup’s behavior and mood. I appreciate her being so responsive and thorough!”

About: I work from home, so your dog gets plenty of attention throughout the day—not just quick check-ins. I’m flexible with walks, feeding, potty breaks, and playtime, and I tailor care to each dog’s routine. I’ve had dogs my whole life, including a high-energy Australian Shepherd, so I’m comfortable with both active and laid-back dogs. I’m patient, attentive to behavior cues, and happy to care for puppies or seniors. I also prioritize communication with regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work from home, so I can structure my day around a dog’s needs with regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, and feeding. I already take daily walks and enjoy being active, and since I’m home most of the day, dogs aren’t left alone for long periods. Evenings and weekends allow for longer walks and extra attention while keeping your dog’s normal schedule. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Care includes walks tailored to energy level, feeding, fresh water, playtime, and lots of attention. I’m safety-focused, respectful of clients’ homes, and provide regular updates and photos.
About: I have experience working with both large and small dogs (specifically Belgian Malinois and Dachshunds), rabbits, guinea pigs, and cats. I am able to work with puppies and animals that are very timid and scared, as well as senior dogs that might need more specialized care. I work full time M-F, so I am available for services before and after work; typically before 7am and after 6 pm works best. On Saturdays and Sundays I am available for services all day! However, I am off work December 20-January 4, so I’m available all day for those couple of weeks:) I am experienced in different kinds of play that dogs of different energy levels may enjoy. I am willing to take out/crate your dog if that is your preference.
About: My background for caring for dogs has abled me to become truly passionate about meeting the dogs needs. Those needs being: getting all their energy out, giving them maximum cuddles, and loving them as they're my own. I currently have a 7 year old Australian Cattle dog who is super high energy so lots of walks everyday and lots of play time! I do not have a yard but I am always outside with my dog. I do work full time but always come home during lunch for a walk. I already have one dog so adding another to my schedule would be no problem at all. We go on 3-4 walks a day, typically every 4-6 hours. I do have a full time job but always come home during lunch to walk my dog. I typically do not allow my dog on my bed but they will be allowed on all of the other furniture. I do have a crate if the dog needs. The dog needs to be potty trained.
About: I am a animal lover and previous pet owner. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, birds, fish, rodents, you name it!. I have worked with many animals and am comfortable grooming, walking, feeding, playing with and caring for your pets. I have been a volunteer and youth leader with Safe Humane Chicago and have participated in many of their programs. I think every pet I’ve met has shown me how to be more patient and kind.I have seen how owners truly care about their pets and his or her safety and that shows me just how much they love them as an important part of their family. If you are interested I would love to hear from you and am available via text or phone call Thanks, -Hannah
“Thanks! Appreciate all your help with Gracie. You have been wonderful with Gracie. She’ll be happy to see you again tomorrow afternoon! Will contact you in the future.”

“Lilly was so great. She dropped in on my girl twice on a day I had to be in Chicago. Coco was only 4 weeks post-TPLO and needed someone to check on her, chafe her pee pad, checker water, and make sure she spent a few minutes each time doing controlled walking and just generally being with a human. Lilly was prompt and kept me up to date the entire time. I felt like my girl was in the best of hands.”
About: Experienced in long term pet care, taking care of dogs for extended time periods when owners are on vacation and everyday experience taking care of pets while families are working, including drop ins and dog walks I work remotely and have a lot of free time open during the day for drop ins and dog walks. I’m available in the mornings, afternoons, and nights! Will respect any rules of the house and am very open to watch / play with the dogs in any way they’re comfortable with and used to
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats my whole life. From Terrier’s to Lab’s and pit bulls, I’ve spent time with and taken care of all types of dogs. I’ve helped train puppies and have taken care of older dogs that required more attention. Growing up with pets I understand how important they are to the families that own them, and I hope to provide some peace of mind to those who trust in me to watch over their animals and provide the care they’re used to while their owners are away. I currently work in a full time hybrid role where I’m allowed to make my own schedule each week. This role allows me to be flexible enough to check in on animals at any time of the day throughout any given week! My home is very spacious, allowing any animal to feel comfortable in this space. I also have crates for dogs if that’s what the owner prefers. I live right by a park and I love taking dogs on walks and being active with them. I’m also a sucker for giving dogs treats for any little thing they do!

About: Growing up, we always had pets in our household! From dogs to cats to guinea pigs, us kids were blessed with lovely pets to care for. My current 9-5 makes it difficult to have pets of my own, so I really appreciate the opportunity to take care of others pets when needed! Part Time! I work a full time job, so looking to provide pet care after work (evening time) and weekends in accordance with your needs. Looking to provide care within the client’s home rather than my own. Also wanting to provide walking services around the neighborhood as needed! Willing to spend ample time in the client’s home to ensure the pet feels comfortable!
Riverside Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kellie took excellent care of my cat while I was away! She followed all my instructions, sent detailed updates with multiple photos, replied to my messages very quickly and made sure my cat was safe and happy. Niko really liked Kellie — he usually hides from sitters the first day but he felt comfortable immediately with her. I would definitely book Kellie to care for him again and recommend her to others! :)

Lilly helped us out during the holidays. She was incredibly attentive and kind. She worked with our weird hours while on vacation and stayed committed to communicating with us. I would absolutely love to work with her again an definitely recommend her services.

This is my fifth time booking Hope, and I’d do it another 5 times! I cannot express how grateful I am for Hope’s excellent communication and care for my cat. The two of them have developed a sweet relationship which I think is so special. 1000/10 recommend :)

First time use of Rover and Valerie for condo visit to feed my cat, His LLordship Llewyn of Wales. Very impressed with Valerie as she showed genuine concern, attention to detail including favorite play toys, accuracy in following instructions, and excellent communication skills including sending multiple pictures. I would highly recommend Valerie for in-home pet visits. Thank you!

Megan and Richard went above and beyond every step of the way and couldn’t recommend them more! The care, thoughtfulness and ease of working with him during my visit to Milwaukee made everything super simple and comfortable for my little guy. Thank you again!
