“Melissa did an outstanding job caring for our dog, Carl. We received plenty of photos and could see that Carl truly felt at home! We will definitely be rebooking with her and highly recommend her services.”

“I was apprehensive about leaving my fur baby with a stranger but I could not have been more pleased. Mandy kept me updated to ensure Peppa was happy and content. Mandy was wonderful to deal with and I would have her take care of Peps again.”

“Oh my gawsh, Colleen and her family took such great care of my poodle, it was her home away from home. Seriously the best folks to care for your fur baby! Thank you!”

“My cat was well cared for even though this was the first time she was alone without me. She stresses easy but seemed to be less upset when she got home. Communication response was wuick.”

“We had a good and cooperative communication with Pamela. Obi was on the first time with a sitter and she managed to understand him and to have a great time together. We wish her all the best on this new year🤗.”

“Maya enjoyed a lot the stay with Cady and her husband, they were sending us a lot photos and videos to be more comfortable with our baby away. Thanks a lot Cady for all the take care and time with Maya.”

“Polina was wonderful! Gary really enjoyed his time with her, and I loved the pics and texts she sent every day. He was obviously very well taken care of in our absence. We will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“Dorotea went above and beyond with my little Larry! She loved him like her own! He was so comfortable with his first stay away from home! I was very nervous and she put my mind at ease immediately! The updated pictures and videos were priceless. I would highly recommend Dorotea, you can tell she loves what she does. Larry will be looking forward to future visits with his new friend.”

“The caregiving to my pet was fantastic, with updates and photos. They have a very nice home and yard for the dogs to play and wander around. Bookings and arranging a time to meet was easy and they were very accommodating for drop off and pickup. She works from home and is able to spend more time with pets than others who have to leave for their job.”

“It was just a great decision leaving our baby Milo with Jeorge and Angelica. They are nice and dog loving people that really took the time to care for our boy. They made sure to update us with him, sent us pictures, asked us questions about him to be able to care for him the best they can. Milo came back to us with such a kind and calm demeanour. Recommend these couple to everyone. Thank you again and Milo misses you guys! 🐶❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in grade school as our family are dog lovers. I had my own first pet since 2016c her name is Lulu, I have taken care of her back home in the Philippines until she’s pregnant and her puppies. I’m currently working at home work 2days on weekdays and available on weekends so I have plenty of time playing and taking care of your pets. I am currently solo living in a pet friendly one bedroom apartment with minimal furnitures that surely will give your pet enough space to play and feel at home.

“Diana and Steven are wonderful people with the kindest souls. My Hagen, due to his lack of experience with children, doesn't get along well with them, but at Diana's house, he fully opened up to the children for the first time, exposing his belly. Regular walks, attention, and care—your pet will feel like he's at summer camp. I highly recommend Diana. Your pet will be happy in good hands.”

“Ruby & Bernard had a fun couple of days. He was responsive and helpful, his fenced yard is perfect and Ruby was in fine form when I picked her up. We will choose Bernard again!”

“I highly recommend Tejaswini & Saumik for dog sitting. They are very capable people who have a passion for dogs including their own. Our dog Argo was in their care for 10 days. During that time they provided updates with photos & videos. Argo enjoyed playing & keeping company with there own dog. They got along so well & their backyard is very large, perfect for dogs to run around. They follow the instructions given & you can tell they have lots of experience. Our flight was unexpectadly cancelled. They were very accommodating & understanding. I would not hesitate to use their services again. 😇”

“Shuangshuang and her partner watched our 6 month Bichon Frise for a week while we were out of town. This was her second time there and first time overnights. We received tons of pictures and videos daily of her playing with their dogs. Our little Cee-Cee had such a great time. We'd bring her back again for sure!”

D'Arcy was a wonderful host for my energetic lab. She took her to play fetch and to the dog park and made sure she was exercised regularly. Communication was seamless and she was very accommodating when asked if pick-up time could be pushed a couple hours later than anticipated. I'd definitely recommend D'Arcy to anyone looking for a trusted home away from home.

We always feel great about leaving Harley with Melissa and her husband. She is happy while she's with them and this drop off she ran to front door. We trust that she is getting the right amount of exercise, socialization and cuddles while we are away. It gives us peace of mind. We will always try to book with Melissa.

Tenille and family were wonderful hosts for Dexter. Great communication and pics. Their pup Abby (did I remember that correctly?) was so sweet and a welcoming doggie friend for Dexter. Absolutely would ask this fabulous family to look after Dexter again in the future ! thank you !!
Lise was amazing!! Pippin was such a happy a tired pup after staying there for a few days. Even though it was extremely hot, she was able to get him out for shorter walks during the cooler parts of the day. He was absolutely spoiled and loved it! She was so great at giving updates on how he was doing. Just an absolute treat!

When I thought she couldn’t get better she did! Benny remembered her and her husband and was so excited to be back. Leaving him for trips are so hard, but it puts my heart at ease knowing how much he loves them. On top of that I got so many pictures and updates. I always feel very confident that Benny is loved and cared for when staying here. Wouldn’t book any other sitter!!

Joshua is fantastic! He’s watch Kolsch a few times now and she always is so happy to spend time with him and Loki. I get plenty of pictures and updates. There was some really hot days during this stay and Joshua was mindful of making sure Kolsch was getting enough exercise still but not overheating, and sent me updates on how she was doing. Kolsch loves Joshua and has a blast every time she stays with him - and I know he is taking very good care of her :)

We booked a two-night stay for my dog with Irina, and everything was wonderful! She sent regular video updates, so I could see that my boy was having a great time and was happy and well cared for. It gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Irina and will definitely book with her again! ❤️🔥

Burgess was incredible with our dogs! He sent us pictures and videos while they stayed with him. They had a fabulous time hanging with his dogs, they clearly all became besties. One of my dogs is afraid of the stairs but Burgess made sure to carry her down so she could have fun with the others. We will absolutely be using him again.

Thank you so much for taking care of my dog! I really appreciated the updates, photos, and the care you gave throughout the stay. You made the whole experience stress-free and I could tell my dog was comfortable and well looked after. I’d definitely book with you again and recommend you to others!
I had my dog Kru stay with Emily for 3 nights this past weekend. I hadn't used rover before so it was all new to me. She has a great fenced on yard and her own dog for mine to play with for the few days. I don't have another dog so it was great that mine was able to play and burn energy at her house. She gave me reassurance I could check-in at any point and sent daily updates and pictures, which helped me to relax knowing Kru was doing great. She seemed to know alot about dogs and was attentive to learning about what my dog needed. He came back sleepy and happy. I highly recommend Emily!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace.
