Active family that loves dogs!
We both grew up with family dogs as children and had our own dog (Finn) for just over 13 years. Finn recently passed away, so we don’t currently have a dog of our own, which means the dogs that stay with us receive LOTS of love and affection :) We have experience caring for dogs throughout all life stages and believe that dogs thrive on praise and kind, clear, consistent interaction or instruction. We know how important it is to know that your dog is safe, loved, and well cared for when you are away, so we provide regular updates with photos.

Meagan and Marcus were absolutely amazing with our dogs, Oatis and Olive! This was our very first time using Rover, and they made the entire experience feel seamless and stress-free. They took such great care of our doodles—giving them lots of walks, attention, and love. We especially appreciated the daily updates, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dogs were happy and comfortable. It’s not easy leaving your pets behind, but Meagan and Marcus made it feel easy. We could tell Oatis and Olive were in the best hands the entire time. Meghan & her family were wonderful hosts for our dog! They took excellent care of him, and they went the extra mile to make sure he was comfortable and settled with them. We loved the regular updates they sent us, and we would definitely use their boarding services again!
Marcus and Meghan took the best care of our dog when we had to leave him with for 4 days. They provided us constant updates and made sure our dog had the best stay. They took out time to introduce fun little activities for him, took him for long fun walks and overall just took great care of him. Marcus & Meghan and their wonderful family are phenomenal. Dexter thrived in their peaceful and loving home and I know he is going to miss them. Communication was steady and the pictures were great. Their calm and confident vibe as dog sitters came thru immediately and throughout our interactions. Schedule
I (Meghan) work from home most days, so there is usually a human adult around to keep your pup company. When we do leave a dog alone, we try to make sure they’ve had a walk beforehand and leave plenty of fresh water available for them.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a medium-sized, fenced yard so outdoor potty breaks are easy. As an active family, we enjoy taking dogs on walks in our neighbourhood or through local parks. We believe in consistency with training and expectations, so are very respectful for how owners relate to their dogs, and try to do the same. Our kids (8 and 10) love dogs just as much as we do, and help out with caring for our guests. For this reason, it is important that your dog is comfortable being around children and other dogs and has no history of aggression.

Your dog will receive daily walks, plenty of attention and affection, and the opportunity to explore the various large parks and trails near our house.
