About: We’ve always been happiest with a dog in our home. With one of us working from home full-time, we’re able to give visiting dogs steady company throughout the day along with the walks, playtime, and routine they’re used to. After caring for our girl Nora for 17 wonderful years, my husband and I have lived through every stage of a dog’s life and still miss having that energy around. We already look after the pets of friends and family, and we’re excited to welcome a few more furry guests. We tailor each stay to your dog’s usual needs, whether that means long neighbourhood walks, extra exercise, or trips to the dog park. We’re big believers in keeping things consistent for the dogs we watch. If your pup has house rules, feeding schedules, training cues, or favourite spots to nap, we follow them closely so their stay feels familiar and comfortable. We reinforce the habits and boundaries you’ve already worked hard to build. Caring for our own dog through a few medical challenges taught us how to handle medications, mobility needs, and gentle support for older pets. If your dog needs special care or a bit of extra patience, we’re comfortable providing it. During the week, there is always someone at home, and weekends are usually spent together too. If your dog enjoys little outings, we’re happy to bring them along on pet-friendly errands or quiet park trips. If they prefer a slower pace, we’re just as happy to relax on the couch and keep things calm. We’re simply hoping to bring a bit of that tail-wagging joy back into our home and make your dog feel safe and loved while you are away. My husband works from home and I work 20% at home and 80% in office. We are both off evenings and weekends. We have a 17 year old teenager as well who is eager to help out. When it comes to your dog’s safety and comfort, we’re your people. We treat every dog like they’re part of our family—so much so, we’d probably share our snacks with them if they gave us that “sad puppy eyes” look. Hopefully we would make them do a trick first. Our yard is fully fenced, which means no escape artist dogs on our watch! While we love giving dogs the run of the yard, we also recognise that some dogs need to have their own space. If your dog has a special bed, crate, mat that brings them comfort bring it. This ensures they have a place they can feel comfortable in. For success we know following usual routines make your pup feel comfortable and safe as possible. Basically, your dog will be treated like royalty… but with more belly rubs.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for about a decade. I have had two of my own dogs who were high-energy and took medication every day. I have also taken care of the neighbours' dogs as needed if they were away for short periods. I currently own a very needy and rambunctious cat who also takes medication daily, so I am accustomed to that as well. I am currently a full-time student working roughly 9-5, but I am flexible. I am available in the evening and on weekends as needed. Open to negotiation. I am pretty comfortable with animals and don't mind being covered in fur! I can crate your pet if needed and will do my best to make them feel comfortable.

About: I’ve had dogs as pets my whole life, and I have about 10 years of experience pet sitting for friends - both cats and dogs! I also have some experience caring for pets who require regular medications. I’m currently working full time in downtown Winnipeg, with my day typically ending between 3-4pm! This makes it easy for me to stop by your place for mid-afternoon walks and potty breaks for your pets! I am also comfortable staying overnight if you go out of town and can’t bring your pets with you :) I have many years of experience walking dogs of varying sizes on leash, and some experience with leash training! I am comfortable crating animals who require it as well.

About: Located in beautiful Wolseley, but can travel nearby. I am Fear Free Shelter certified and I volunteer with two animal shelters. I have completed all required training to understand body language, temperament and behaviour and can connect with both friendly and timid dogs. We foster dogs, and have lots of experience with shy or injury-recovering ones who need special attention. Our own dog is a beautiful shepherd who we rescued from a shelter in Morden and we have had the absolute privilege of watching her learn the world isn't so scary. Our second is a little French bulldog who we foster-failed and decided to keep. I love all dogs and would love to spend time with yours! I work full time, but my schedule is flexible. I work from home Monday and Friday and can pop over to hang out during the day, and am free every day after 4:30. My weekends are usually wide open as well. We have two dogs and one cat, and while I couldn’t board your pet at my place I’m in a very central location and could easily commute.

About: Having grown up in a family with 3 cats and a dog, I've always had a strong love and interest in animals. I feel that I can really relate to the animal and get a sense of their soul. I looked after both dogs and cats while travelling in Europe. (During this time, I was working remotely as a freelance translator.) I have experience with various breeds, in particular, greyhounds, as I had an extended sit caring for a senior Spanish greyhound for 6 weeks. About: Hi there! We’ve both been surrounded by animals for years, and our hearts are fully claimed by two adorable cats of our own. Titiksha has loved and cared for animals since her teens, from her family dog back home to countless cats she’s doted on over the years. Kuljit officially joined the cat club after meeting Titiksha’s sassy feline, and together we adopted another furball—now we’re happily wrapped around four tiny paws! We adore learning each pet’s quirks, giving them calm, cozy care, and making sure they feel loved, safe, and understood—purrs, head boops, and cuddles included. I (Kuljit) work in and out of house for few hours and my partner (Titiksha) is always home, so there’s always someone around to give your pet attention and care they deserve. Our apartment is spacious, filled with natural light, and has big windows perfect for birdwatching (aka "cat TV") and sunbathing. Your pet will also have two calm and friendly feline companion while staying with me. We also have experience caring for cats with medical needs-whether that's administering medication, special diets, or just a little extra TLC. If your fur baby needs any special attention, we’re more than happy to accommodate and provide the love and care they need to feel safe and comfortable.
