“Meghan exceeded my expectations when she watched my little Henry during my recent business trip to Toronto. She was attentive, I knew when she arrived and left due the check in feature she uses. Lots of pictures and always a note to let me know how my kitty was doing. I will definitely be booking Meghan again!!!”

““Brena was absolutely amazing, and I’m so glad we found her! It was such a relief to know my kitties were well taken care of and loved. They got their outside time, their rubs, and all the attention they needed. Thank you for going the extra mile doing the little you did, I really appreciate it”

“Megan was great! She took such good care of our two cats, Lily and Daisy, while we were away. She sent tons of photos from every visit, which made us feel really at ease — it was so nice to see them happy and relaxed. Megan also went above and beyond to help out with a small issue at the house while we were gone, which we really appreciated. We came home to two chill cats and everything in perfect order. We’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable sitter!”

“Thanks again, Emilya! Our trip was easier with the peace of mind that came from knowing our cat was well-cared for. As an older cat with diabetes, it's a big deal to have found a go-to pet sitter who keeps him healthy and socialized when we're away.”

About: I raised two cats from 8 weeks old, one to age 17 and the other to 18. I also helped raise a yellow Lab from puppyhood through her senior years, when she developed arthritis and hearing loss, so I know how to care for dogs with age-related needs. I currently have a chihuahua corgi mix, and between puppy classes and a family member who's a professional dog agility trainer, I've picked up solid, practical training knowledge. I lived in an apartment for years, so I'm well practiced with calm, consistent leash-only bathroom breaks. Comfortable with puppies, seniors, and everything in between. I'd love to help care for your pet. I am currently working remotely and have schedule flexibility and can take care of your pets within my weekly routine. Depending on the date that you request care, I can be available to stay at your home full-time, i.e. potty breaks every hour, or, on certain weeks, potty breaks every few hours. Please specify how frequently your pet must be let out, and let me know if your pet requires constant supervision - This can be accommodated, depending on the dates. I am unable to care for your pets in my own home but will follow instructions given in order to take care of your pets in your own home.
About: Hi there! We’ve both been surrounded by animals for years, and our hearts are fully claimed by two adorable cats of our own. Titiksha has loved and cared for animals since her teens, from her family dog back home to countless cats she’s doted on over the years. Kuljit officially joined the cat club after meeting Titiksha’s sassy feline, and together we adopted another furball—now we’re happily wrapped around four tiny paws! We adore learning each pet’s quirks, giving them calm, cozy care, and making sure they feel loved, safe, and understood—purrs, head boops, and cuddles included. I (Kuljit) work in and out of house for few hours and my partner (Titiksha) is always home, so there’s always someone around to give your pet attention and care they deserve. Our apartment is spacious, filled with natural light, and has big windows perfect for birdwatching (aka "cat TV") and sunbathing. Your pet will also have two calm and friendly feline companion while staying with me. We also have experience caring for cats with medical needs-whether that's administering medication, special diets, or just a little extra TLC. If your fur baby needs any special attention, we’re more than happy to accommodate and provide the love and care they need to feel safe and comfortable. Your pet's happiness and well-being are our top priorities. We’d love to welcome them into my home and treat them like one of my own while you're away.
“It’s a great comfort knowing Jose will be taking care of Indie and Tucker. He has a calm approach which is appreciated since Indie is still a pup. I would recommend Jose absolutely.”

Safia was wonderful with our cat, Wall-E. She stepped in on very short notice, which was a huge help, and kept us updated throughout our time away with messages and photos. It was clear that Wall-E was well cared for, and it gave us real peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Safia was reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent pet sitter.

Jordan was fantastic! Very conscientious and caring about our two cats and making sure they ate & drank and got some love. He even got our fearful boy to come around and accept pets and belly rubs. Memphis provided outstanding care for our kitties and home while we were on a week-long trip. We particularly appreciated her thorough, enjoyable, and helpful daily updates filling us in on all things to do with Dilly + Ozi. Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Winnipeg stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Winnipeg choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
