About: We’ve always been happiest with a dog in our home. With one of us working from home full-time, we’re able to give visiting dogs steady company throughout the day along with the walks, playtime, and routine they’re used to. After caring for our girl Nora for 17 wonderful years, my husband and I have lived through every stage of a dog’s life and still miss having that energy around. We already look after the pets of friends and family, and we’re excited to welcome a few more furry guests. We tailor each stay to your dog’s usual needs, whether that means long neighbourhood walks, extra exercise, or trips to the dog park. We’re big believers in keeping things consistent for the dogs we watch. If your pup has house rules, feeding schedules, training cues, or favourite spots to nap, we follow them closely so their stay feels familiar and comfortable. We reinforce the habits and boundaries you’ve already worked hard to build. Caring for our own dog through a few medical challenges taught us how to handle medications, mobility needs, and gentle support for older pets. If your dog needs special care or a bit of extra patience, we’re comfortable providing it. During the week, there is always someone at home, and weekends are usually spent together too. If your dog enjoys little outings, we’re happy to bring them along on pet-friendly errands or quiet park trips. If they prefer a slower pace, we’re just as happy to relax on the couch and keep things calm. We’re simply hoping to bring a bit of that tail-wagging joy back into our home and make your dog feel safe and loved while you are away. My husband works from home and I work 20% at home and 80% in office. We are both off evenings and weekends. We have a 17 year old teenager as well who is eager to help out. When it comes to your dog’s safety and comfort, we’re your people. We treat every dog like they’re part of our family—so much so, we’d probably share our snacks with them if they gave us that “sad puppy eyes” look. Hopefully we would make them do a trick first. Our yard is fully fenced, which means no escape artist dogs on our watch! While we love giving dogs the run of the yard, we also recognise that some dogs need to have their own space. If your dog has a special bed, crate, mat that brings them comfort bring it. This ensures they have a place they can feel comfortable in. For success we know following usual routines make your pup feel comfortable and safe as possible. Basically, your dog will be treated like royalty… but with more belly rubs.

About: My husband and I have owned dogs for the past 15 plus years together, and our families both owned them for many years growing up. While he would not attend your home with me, I like everyone to know that our entire house is Pet lovers. My soft spot is for seniors, and dogs with varying degrees of health related issues. The ones that nobody wants and the often misunderstood ones. I have cared for a variety of breeds with varrying degrees of health issues. I have extensive experience in administering medications, IV fluids, intramuscular injections, eye drops, nail trims, and more. I have had 2 blind dogs (one of which had both of her eyes removed due to glaucoma), so am very familiar with their sometimes unique challenges. I also have experience caring for dogs with little to no hearing, as well as ones with various levels of behavioral challenges, such as resource/food guarding, stranger/leash aggression, and more. As the owner of Manitoba's ONLY small animal rescue charity, I also have a wealth of knowledge and experience with exotic and small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and more! I work 1 day a week, so other than that all of my time is free and flexible to work around your schedule and your needs! I promise to take as good of care of your fur babies as I do of my own! I care for them in the comfort of your own home! So they don’t need to get used to a whole different environment. I do daily drop-ins, dog walks, and overnight pet sitting.

About: I worked with a dog rescue since 2011 and have 4 French bulldogs. I have worked along side vets and professional dog trainers for 15+ years I am currently working a casual position latest I would work is 3:15 schedule is flexible. Depending on location it’s possible for mid day check in on the dog(s) If your dog is good with other dogs, house and kennel trained I could bring the dog(s) home. We have a fenced yard and all dogs are kennelled at night unless they do not require kennelling they would have ability to sleep on a dog bed or couch.

About: I am comfortable around dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages. 16 years ago, I brought a puppy into my family home. From day one, my goal was to make sure he was loved and taken care of. Whether that was by walking him, feeding, or playtime. The same principle applies no matter what animal is under my care. I’ve helped my friend take care of her dogs while she’s been away as well. I am working 8 hours a day for July but completely off in August. Despite working this month, I would still like to provide services once I’m off for the day. The earliest I am off is 3 and latest is 5. My weekends are open to services. I am only able to come to a client’s home.
