I also have one small, friendly dog who can help keep your pup company and make them feel more comfortable during their stay. About: We’ve always been happiest with a dog in our home. With one of us working from home full-time, we’re able to give visiting dogs steady company throughout the day along with the walks, playtime, and routine they’re used to. After caring for our girl Nora for 17 wonderful years, my husband and I have lived through every stage of a dog’s life and still miss having that energy around. We already look after the pets of friends and family, and we’re excited to welcome a few more furry guests. We tailor each stay to your dog’s usual needs, whether that means long neighbourhood walks, extra exercise, or trips to the dog park. We’re big believers in keeping things consistent for the dogs we watch. If your pup has house rules, feeding schedules, training cues, or favourite spots to nap, we follow them closely so their stay feels familiar and comfortable. We reinforce the habits and boundaries you’ve already worked hard to build. Caring for our own dog through a few medical challenges taught us how to handle medications, mobility needs, and gentle support for older pets. If your dog needs special care or a bit of extra patience, we’re comfortable providing it. During the week, there is always someone at home, and weekends are usually spent together too. If your dog enjoys little outings, we’re happy to bring them along on pet-friendly errands or quiet park trips. If they prefer a slower pace, we’re just as happy to relax on the couch and keep things calm. We’re simply hoping to bring a bit of that tail-wagging joy back into our home and make your dog feel safe and loved while you are away. My husband works from home and I work 20% at home and 80% in office. We are both off evenings and weekends. We have a 17 year old teenager as well who is eager to help out. When it comes to your dog’s safety and comfort, we’re your people. We treat every dog like they’re part of our family—so much so, we’d probably share our snacks with them if they gave us that “sad puppy eyes” look. Hopefully we would make them do a trick first. Our yard is fully fenced, which means no escape artist dogs on our watch! While we love giving dogs the run of the yard, we also recognise that some dogs need to have their own space. If your dog has a special bed, crate, mat that brings them comfort bring it. This ensures they have a place they can feel comfortable in. For success we know following usual routines make your pup feel comfortable and safe as possible. Basically, your dog will be treated like royalty… but with more belly rubs.

About: I have always loved interacting with and taking care of animals, my own, or my friends and families! It brings me joy to bring happiness, safety, security and fun into their life, whether it’s for 15 minutes, or 15 days! I have worked in a dog daycare environment, and in a vet clinic. I am certified in Pet First Aid, have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I am currently working full time, but with flexible availability. I am always willing to go above and beyond to work with a clients schedule, and their pets unique needs. I strive to maintain a similar schedule for your pet, as I feel it is important for them to have routine and consistency, especially when their favourite humans are away. I am adaptable and commited to creating the best environment for your pet and I to have a comfortable, enjoyable and fun relationship. I am currently working full time, and my time outside of that during my stay will be completely devoted to your dog, their routine, and their wants and needs. About: Your holiday house sitter this spring + summer. I have been on rover since the first few months of the pandemic, working with families mostly in Calgary, AB. I own my own business in which a majority of my work is remote so have lots of flexibility with my time to care for your home and animals as necessary. I moved back home to winnipeg back in May of 2023 and have been on and off rover through some career and family changes ever since. Previously have spent many years fostering puppies for various rescues in Manitoba. Have a number of regulars on Rover whom I have been working with ongoing, some of them for years until I moved away and have built a steady roster of regulars here in Winnipeg since returning - took a break but am back for the spring summer/ looking for regular walks for spring. I work remote, so am almost always available for house sitting, my living situation currently doesn’t allow for boarding. Available for walks monday - friday. I always treat your home and your pets as if they were my own. Pride myself in often leaving a space better then I found it and will care for your pets as they were my own. Catering to specific needs in any way that I can and always asking questions if I am unsure.

My full time job requires me to be away from the house for a few hours a day but my boyfriend is home by 3pm daily (who is also rover certified) so they’re never left alone long! I have a lot of experience watching dogs, I’ve watched for friends and family of a variety of sizes and breeds. I’m experienced with giving oral medications and insulin. I also have 10 months of experience working at a dog daycare. My dogs are open to playing with dogs of any age or size even small dogs! We’re very dog friendly at our house our dogs are spoiled and have range to lay on the couches with us, look out the window from our bed and have tons of pillows laying around as well! We have tons of treats, toys, a big refillable water bowl & even a pool for the summer time heat! Come give us a visit and leave feeling at ease while you’re away!

About: I have only recently begun expanding who's animals I take care of but have been taking care of my personal pets all my life. I have experience with cats, dogs, small mammals and amphibians. I have cared for all ages of pets including newborns and geriatric. I can handle administering medications of different sorts. I have first aid training, human and animal. If you have a specific way of doing things that you'd like continued I am more then happy to do so. My main concern is that your family member is well taken care of whether it be for an hour, a day or several days at a time. I have a schedule that is constantly changing. I am doing a training program come early 2025 so my schedule will be tighter than it is now but I will still try to arrange you to fit in. Keeping your pet safe is a big concern. I always check collars and leashes prior to use to ensure their functionality. I do have a dog who loves playing with others if yours needs a companion.

About: I have 2 years of experience plus Im a dog trainer. i have one husky and a cat in my house They both are Friendly. There’s a off leash park just rights beside my appartment and Pickup drop off service available I love spending time with pets and After every 2 hours i take my Pets to park to get socialized in pack of dogs . I have special diet available if needed and Im pretty experienced with pets. Plus I love spending time with any kind of pet breeds rather big or small.

About: Hi hi!! I am Keeanna I absolutely love animals, I have volunteered with rescues for a few years now from fostering to finding new homes. It's such an amazing experience seeing many dogs that come from hard situations, having to start over and transforming into such beautiful souls. It’s truly an experience I strongly encourage everyone to at least try! Not only have I volunteered with many different rescues I have also volunteered on a farm which was such an awesome experience. I have a 2 year old that loves animals so much! We currently live in an apartment for the time being, for now we will only accept smaller dogs until we buy our home and be able to accept our bigger furr friends.
