About: I had two rescues, aussie mix and pit mix, for 16yrs and a massively fluffy cat for 18yrs that ruled them. Enjoyed going for walks, camping and not ready to get new pets but would enjoy a having a dog to go on walks with again. I have a flexible schedule, so can fit in walks and play. Weekends we tend to go camping but have a permanent site that is dog friendly and a great place to explore. No pets, yard is not fenced so outside time would be leashed and supervised. If your dog has a favourite toy of dog bed plenty of room to enjoy. I live in a quiet small town with lovely walking paths.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life from day one. I’ve spent 25 years caring for pets, from playful puppies and curious kittens to senior dogs and cats needing meds and extra TLC. I’ve had both large and small dog breeds, and I’m confident handling everything from daily walks to administering medications and sticking to routines. I’ve also cared for cats of all ages, including grooming, litter box upkeep, and giving oral meds. On top of that, I grew up around horses and even had two of my own, so I’m comfortable around animals big and small. We have kennels available for pets who are crate-trained or need their own space, as well as quiet areas for pets who prefer a calm, low-energy setting. I’m also happy to care for pets in their own home, offering visits, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and lots of love. I can easily adapt to whatever your pet needs to feel safe and comfortable.

About: We’ve always been happiest with a dog in our home. With one of us working from home full-time, we’re able to give visiting dogs steady company throughout the day along with the walks, playtime, and routine they’re used to. After caring for our girl Nora for 17 wonderful years, my husband and I have lived through every stage of a dog’s life and still miss having that energy around. We already look after the pets of friends and family, and we’re excited to welcome a few more furry guests. We tailor each stay to your dog’s usual needs, whether that means long neighbourhood walks, extra exercise, or trips to the dog park. We’re big believers in keeping things consistent for the dogs we watch. If your pup has house rules, feeding schedules, training cues, or favourite spots to nap, we follow them closely so their stay feels familiar and comfortable. We reinforce the habits and boundaries you’ve already worked hard to build. Caring for our own dog through a few medical challenges taught us how to handle medications, mobility needs, and gentle support for older pets. If your dog needs special care or a bit of extra patience, we’re comfortable providing it. During the week, there is always someone at home, and weekends are usually spent together too. If your dog enjoys little outings, we’re happy to bring them along on pet-friendly errands or quiet park trips. If they prefer a slower pace, we’re just as happy to relax on the couch and keep things calm. We’re simply hoping to bring a bit of that tail-wagging joy back into our home and make your dog feel safe and loved while you are away. My husband works from home and I work 20% at home and 80% in office. We are both off evenings and weekends. We have a 17 year old teenager as well who is eager to help out. When it comes to your dog’s safety and comfort, we’re your people. We treat every dog like they’re part of our family—so much so, we’d probably share our snacks with them if they gave us that “sad puppy eyes” look. Hopefully we would make them do a trick first. Our yard is fully fenced, which means no escape artist dogs on our watch! While we love giving dogs the run of the yard, we also recognise that some dogs need to have their own space. If your dog has a special bed, crate, mat that brings them comfort bring it. This ensures they have a place they can feel comfortable in. For success we know following usual routines make your pup feel comfortable and safe as possible. Basically, your dog will be treated like royalty… but with more belly rubs.

My full time job requires me to be away from the house for a few hours a day but my boyfriend is home by 3pm daily (who is also rover certified) so they’re never left alone long! I have a lot of experience watching dogs, I’ve watched for friends and family of a variety of sizes and breeds. I’m experienced with giving oral medications and insulin. I also have 10 months of experience working at a dog daycare. My dogs are open to playing with dogs of any age or size even small dogs! We’re very dog friendly at our house our dogs are spoiled and have range to lay on the couches with us, look out the window from our bed and have tons of pillows laying around as well! We have tons of treats, toys, a big refillable water bowl & even a pool for the summer time heat! Come give us a visit and leave feeling at ease while you’re away!

About: I have grown up with cats, dogs, and guinea pigs my entire life! I have two black lab crossed dogs and two cats that I love with all my heart, even though I only get to see them on my visits back to my home town. I also have a bengal cat of my own that I love very much despite her sassy attitude. Family gatherings don’t feel complete until there are half as many pets as there are people. Volunteering at the Pembina Valley Humane Society for two years in high school gave me lots of experience and enough responsibility to see what all goes into caring for the dogs and cats/kittens who were ready for adoption, as well as the confidence to deal with the excitable ones. I have always found it easy to relax around pets and connect with them. I work a full time job during the week but evenings and weekends I have full availability to watch the four legged family members :) My cat is free to wander wherever she would like to go and my dogs back home have a fenced back yard to play in I work a full time job Monday to Friday so my evenings and most weekends are free to take care of your very loved pets! I currently live in an apartment that only allows cats, which I have one. I am not able to take in any pets at this time.

About: I was renting a room and my owner have two cats they are so cute i always use to play with them and feed them. When I was in Peterborough I live with a dog which was so cute and I take her for walking. Back home I have dog I use to play with them they need care as well . We have to treat them as a family member. Dogs are the species which is loyal with man kind they are active never make you feel boring and always makes you happy. I love dogs . While he would not attend your home with me, I like everyone to know that our entire house is Pet lovers. My soft spot is for seniors, and dogs with varying degrees of health related issues. The ones that nobody wants and the often misunderstood ones. I have cared for a variety of breeds with varrying degrees of health issues. I have extensive experience in administering medications, IV fluids, intramuscular injections, eye drops, nail trims, and more. I have had 2 blind dogs (one of which had both of her eyes removed due to glaucoma), so am very familiar with their sometimes unique challenges. I also have experience caring for dogs with little to no hearing, as well as ones with various levels of behavioral challenges, such as resource/food guarding, stranger/leash aggression, and more. While I love a good puppy cuddle, my heart belongs to the older four (or less!) legged friends, and I would love the opportunity to meet your furry family members. I have an extremely flexible work from home/anywhere schedule with my current job, which allows me the freedom to help provide care for your furry family members.
