About: I had two rescues, aussie mix and pit mix, for 16yrs and a massively fluffy cat for 18yrs that ruled them. Enjoyed going for walks, camping and not ready to get new pets but would enjoy a having a dog to go on walks with again. I have a flexible schedule, so can fit in walks and play. Weekends we tend to go camping but have a permanent site that is dog friendly and a great place to explore. No pets, yard is not fenced so outside time would be leashed and supervised. If your dog has a favourite toy of dog bed plenty of room to enjoy. I live in a quiet small town with lovely walking paths.
âHolly has been an amazing addition to our dogs routine. They are so happy when she arrives, with numerous wiggy wags. Holly is a great communicator, makes herself available, and a very lovely lady. 10/10 would recommend.â

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life from day one. Iâve spent 25 years caring for pets, from playful puppies and curious kittens to senior dogs and cats needing meds and extra TLC. Iâve had both large and small dog breeds, and Iâm confident handling everything from daily walks to administering medications and sticking to routines. Iâve also cared for cats of all ages, including grooming, litter box upkeep, and giving oral meds. On top of that, I grew up around horses and even had two of my own, so Iâm comfortable around animals big and small. I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while youâre away. My life truly revolves around animals, theyâre a top priority in my daily routine. Whether itâs early mornings or evening check-ins, Iâm flexible and committed to making sure your pets get the attention and care they deserve. At my home, pets have plenty of space to roam and play. I live on an acreage with an underground fence, so dogs get lots of safe outdoor time. I share my home with 3 friendly dogs and 4 cats, so your pet will be part of a loving, animal-friendly environment. We have kennels available for pets who are crate-trained or need their own space, as well as quiet areas for pets who prefer a calm, low-energy setting. Iâm also happy to care for pets in their own home, offering visits, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and lots of love. I can easily adapt to whatever your pet needs to feel safe and comfortable.

âAmazing walker. Went so out of her way ON HER FIRST DAY when I had an emergency come up and took my dog overnight on no notice. Totally undersells herself. She is worth 100x the fees she offers. She's also spending all her extra money into starting her own rescue. You know her heart is really in the right place and wants to help save as many furry lives as possible. Cannot say more positive things about this gal. Would never want to use anyone else.â

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was a young age. I have taken care of both animals for family and friends, such as walking and pet sitting. I currently have a full time job, I would be able to walk in the morning or evening depending on my work schedule. If it were to be a dog sitting position I would prefer to stay in the home. If not I will make sure to get there first thing in the morning and go after work to spend time with your animal. Currently my apartment does not allow animals in the building. In that case I could come to your house and if you donât have a fenced in yard I will ensure a leash is always on your pet while walking and playing outside. Also I would want to do a meet and greet before I start sitting to ensure your dog is comfortable with me!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Stonewall choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
