I was a little bit worried because she’s not the greatest on leash walker and she’s also never stayed with anybody but friends and family, so staying with a stranger is new to her. Richard and Melissa were great, the first night when she was showing signs of being a little bit anxious they insured that she got out for a decompressing walk and then they took her to an area of the house that was a little less stimulating so she could have some quiet time. Knowing that someone was picking up on her cues was really reassuring for Me and also for Liivvy. They were very communicative the whole time she was staying there making sure that I got photos and they let me know how she was settling in. I would have zero hesitations about recommending them or booking with them again.”

About: I have only recently begun expanding who's animals I take care of but have been taking care of my personal pets all my life. I have experience with cats, dogs, small mammals and amphibians. I have cared for all ages of pets including newborns and geriatric. I can handle administering medications of different sorts. I have first aid training, human and animal. If you have a specific way of doing things that you'd like continued I am more then happy to do so. My main concern is that your family member is well taken care of whether it be for an hour, a day or several days at a time. I have a schedule that is constantly changing. I am doing a training program come early 2025 so my schedule will be tighter than it is now but I will still try to arrange you to fit in. Keeping your pet safe is a big concern. I always check collars and leashes prior to use to ensure their functionality. I do have a dog who loves playing with others if yours needs a companion.

About: I got my first cat 4 years ago from a rescue organization and he ignited my love of cats. Don’t get me wrong, I liked them before, but I didn’t understand them as well as I do now. Shortly after my first cat, we took in a cat who needed a home. The thing I love about cats is their different personalities. I’ve administered liquid medications to one of them. Have studied and worked in behavior therapy field in past (not offering as a service now, but am knowledgeable of techniques). Have a loving and playful boston terrier cross at home that loves company and snuggles. Slow, guided introductions are important for both myself and my pup- safety, security and fun is key! Crate training (or at least familiarity with ex-pen gating) is important for overnight stays as I may have to step out for short periods and dont feel comfortable leaving unbonded dogs alone together without supervision! I run a small business from my home and set my own works hours so I am extremely flexible. Open and honest communication is very important to me! Please note there are 3 dogs in our home- my pup plus 2. One is a tiny senior, one an energetic spaniel mix puppy I work for myself, from home so I have no predetermined schedule that requires me to leave the house - I can be very flexible We have 2 different fenced areas behind the house - one small with doggy door, the other full yard size. Plus we have unfenced acreage beyond that which our dogs are invisible fence trained on, is good for leashed exercise for untrained dogs

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid, I'm used to big, high energy, and stubborn dogs of all ages! We've been fostering pups on and off for over a decade. We have a senior dog and an 11 month old puppy at home and have cared for 5 foster pups in 2026 alone. I'm currently off work with a disability and have been taking care of dogs and puppies on a volunteer basis/as a foster. I'm taking a break from fostering and figured I could do this in the meantime! Since I'm not currently working I can offer a lot of time, energy, training and care to a dog. We have a 11 month old female husky x puppy at our house who is incredible with other dogs and loves to play all day long! We have a fenced yard. I'm home all day, and my wife works from home so we can hang out with and keep an eye on your dog(s). We can crate your pooch if necessary overnight or if we need to pop out and we have small medium and xl crates at home. We have 2 kids at home 14 and 4 who love to help out and play.

About: I have in-total 5 Yorkshire Terriers back in my country since I was 7 years old. (I grew up with them and slept with them). I took care of them (bath, groom, feed, medication administration, walk, play) I was the handler when they went to dog show, I trained them by myself since they were a puppy. I have experience in grooming (advanced for Yorkshire terrier), walking the dog (small and medium dog particularly), training (basic commands), and taking care of senior or sick dogs, Since I moved to Canada, I have been taking care of my friends' dogs and cats whenever they need a sitter. In addition to my experience with dogs, I have experience caring for kittens, cats and senior cats. My passion for animals has led me to volunteer for pet-related jobs. I volunteered at WHS to take care of the cats there. If there had been a position for caring for dogs, I would have taken it in a heartbeat since I have more experience with dogs. However, there were no available positions so it was unfortunate but the opportunity helped me to showcase my skills in interacting with cats. It is very easy for me to get along with animals whether it be dogs or cats, I love to interact with all of them. I'm currently available most days of the week after 11 am, however, I would love to work out a schedule that works the best for you and your dogs! My home have a fenced small yard and unfenced big yard. The small yard is big enough for small-medium dogs to run around. I will let the owner to choose what is best for their dogs.

“I found myself in need of someone to look after Livvy on pretty short notice. I was a little bit worried because she’s not the greatest on leash walker and she’s also never stayed with anybody but friends and family, so staying with a stranger is new to her. Richard and Melissa were great, the first night when she was showing signs of being a little bit anxious they insured that she got out for a decompressing walk and then they took her to an area of the house that was a little less stimulating so she could have some quiet time. Knowing that someone was picking up on her cues was really reassuring for Me and also for Liivvy. They were very communicative the whole time she was staying there making sure that I got photos and they let me know how she was settling in. I would have zero hesitations about recommending them or booking with them again.”

“Lise took the best care of our girl Lucy! I can't recommend her enough. She sent me frequent updates which was amazing. She took Lucy for very long walks and let her cuddle on the couch all the time. Lucy was treated the same way she would be treated at home which we LOVE. Before we dropped Lucy off, Lise suggested we take her dog Hamilton and Lucy on a walk together to ensure that they have a slow introduction and to make sure they get along. My friend was staying with me from out of town but my landlord doesn’t allow any pets so we had to look for a dog sitter within the same day for the weekend. Tejaswini and Saumik were very quick at responding and had been so patient with me since it was my first time booking on this website. Once they talked to my friend, they received his dog shortly after and would send pictures, videos, and updates through the entire weekend. My friends dog was so happy and he had a great time playing with the other dog as well! My friend was turned away by many people because his dog is a mix with a pitbull, which to some people is automatically a no. I’m glad they gave my friends dog a chance cause he’s really sweet and he loved his time with them. Can’t wait to book again!”
