A typical day
I like to stimulate mentally and physically the pets in my care so they have a great experience with me. I will take them on long walks in the forest, by the water or at the park. We can go for car rides and play games. If they like socializing with other dogs we can have play dates with some of my other clients or we can go to dog parks.

Hello, my name is Sonya and I've been in business for more than 5 years now and love spoiling our furry companions. I'm a hairstylist and makeup artist by trade, having worked in the industry for over 30 years, the last 20 years living in Toronto. I have traveled extensively training other hairstylist and makeup artists globally and felt it was time to get back to my roots, be closer to family and leave the corporate world behind. I'm grateful to now be my own boss, free to follow my passion for the animals and the outdoors. I'm now enrolled in a dog obedience course, I've always been curious and strive to keep learning. I feel it's important to always advance my knowledge to be the best I can be for those of you who book my services. My background in the pet care business starts with my cat named Willey, Domestic Shorthair, and a dog named Jack, Olde English Bulldogge, I've since lost both of them due to illness and as we all know it's the most difficult part of having a pet. It's simply heartbreaking when you loose them. They are our family members. I do however, see the "silver lining" as I can bring a wealth of knowledge to this career. I have now had years of experience looking after peoples pets, administering medications, emergency visits to the vet, post operation recovery and rehabilitation. I have also since adopted and fostered my own pets. I had a senior English Bulldog named Seymour, and know the limitations and special care needed due to old age and arthritis. I now have a Chi-Rat Terrier named Saffi who I've rescued during the pandemic. Saffi is a sassy girl and were working on her insecurities as she had never been socialized or cared for before I adopted her. I've also cared for pets with diabetes that need insulin shots, special diet or food restrictions. I will be reliable,, loyal, dependable and trustworthy. I will exercise, socialize or have a quiet walk with your pet and if they'd prefer, just a simple visit with food, treats and play that's great too! I can tailor the service to accommodate any special requirements you may have. I'm easy going and will treat your pet as I treat my own, with love and respect.
