Hello, my name is Sonya and I've been in business for more than 5 years now and love spoiling our furry companions. I'm a hairstylist and makeup artist by trade, having worked in the industry for over 30 years, the last 20 years living in Toronto. I have traveled extensively training other hairstylist and makeup artists globally and felt it was time to get back to my roots, be closer to family and leave the corporate world behind. I'm grateful to now be my own boss, free to follow my passion for the animals and the outdoors. I'm now enrolled in a dog obedience course, I've always been curious and strive to keep learning. I feel it's important to always advance my knowledge to be the best I can be for those of you who book my services. My background in the pet care business starts with my cat named Willey, Domestic Shorthair, and a dog named Jack, Olde English Bulldogge, I've since lost both of them due to illness and as we all know it's the most difficult part of having a pet. It's simply heartbreaking when you loose them. They are our family members. I do however, see the "silver lining" as I can bring a wealth of knowledge to this career. I have now had years of experience looking after peoples pets, administering medications, emergency visits to the vet, post operation recovery and rehabilitation. I have also since adopted and fostered my own pets. I had a senior English Bulldog named Seymour, and know the limitations and special care needed due to old age and arthritis. I now have a Chi-Rat Terrier named Saffi who I've rescued during the pandemic. Saffi is a sassy girl and were working on her insecurities as she had never been socialized or cared for before I adopted her. I've also cared for pets with diabetes that need insulin shots, special diet or food restrictions. I will be reliable,, loyal, dependable and trustworthy. I will exercise, socialize or have a quiet walk with your pet and if they'd prefer, just a simple visit with food, treats and play that's great too! I can tailor the service to accommodate any special requirements you may have. I'm easy going and will treat your pet as I treat my own, with love and respect.

I will care for your pets as specified. I like to have a watchful eye on anyone in my care. I will respect your property and keep a clean, tidy environment. If your pet requires a clean up from accidents or destruction I will go the extra mile

Sonya was amazing and took very good care of our cats Mr. Waffles and Annie. She provided daily updates that made us much more comfortable being away from home and would highly recommend her.

Sonya did great with our shy cat! Her attentiveness to detail alerted us to a health issue that we’re dealing with now. He would be in worse shape had he had a less observant sitter. Much appreciated!
Sonja is just wonderful! Experienced, reliable and so enthusiastic about our sweet Marshall. We got awesome photos and detailed feedback on how he was doing.. proof that they had a great time together! Will absolutely have her back!! Highly recommend.
Sonya took great care of our little cat (and reptile menagerie) and it was obvious he was comfortable with her. She gave him treats and spent time playing with him. She was punctual and reliable, so I felt reassured about the care he was getting, which made my trip more relaxing.

Schedule
Pet care is my business and I will be focused on the furry friends in my care My rescue Saffi likes to stay busy and keeps me on my toes. She has lots of energy and has a daily routine of eating, playing and exploring the neighbourhoods.
