With experience managing animals with unique healthcare needs (like specialized diets, injections, asthma treatment, pills, and eye/ear drops), I’ll ensure your pet gets the best care. Please note, while tips are very generous and deeply appreciated, I do not expect them for my services. I set my prices to a point that I'm comfortable with the income and am not relying on you to supplement anything. You're already paying a lot of money to have your pet cared for so please don't feel pressured just because Rover prompts you.

We were nervous to drop off our dog. We were delighted when we met Arissa. She was kind patient and took to our dog right away. She met us at the park before our stay so that our dog could get to know her our dog felt calm and cared for. She administered medication, and showed great patience with our senior dog. To put us at easeshe sent us several photos during the day so we knew how our dog was feeling the whole time. We are appreciative and will certainly be back.
Arissa was exceptional. She communicated often while my dog was with her and provides treats, walks and cuddles. I was a little worried about leaving her with someone I did not know but Arissa was fantastic. She is close to Museum for Human Rights if that is part of your visit to Winnipeg
Arissa has watched Gus a few times and is amazing with him! He can get a little separation anxiety and she is so patient with him and does a great job comforting him. I’ve rebooked before and would rebook again!
Arissa was fantastic. She took excellent care of our pets while we were away, including administering oral medication. She was consistent, friendly, professional, and bonded quickly with our pets. We were able to go away and feel completely comfortable with the care of pets. Strongly recommend!

Arissa is the BEST dog sitter. My dog is so happy going to stay at her home. She gets lots of walks and attention and Arissa always provides lots of updates. We look forward to booking another stay.

Schedule
CANNOT CARE FOR REACTIVE DOGS. I'm not currently working a regular job, so I have lots of free time to care for your pets! As long as I haven't already committed to caring for other animals, I'm happy to accommodate your schedule to make sure your pet gets the best and most reliable care.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment, which I understand isn't suitable for all dogs, but it is very safe and clean and is already accommodating a revolving door of my friends and family's animals. The building is extremely pet-friendly and has an elevator to accommodate any pups with mobility issues. I take dogs on lots of potty walks throughout the day and live in a great neighbourhood for long, scenic walks. Due to the communal nature of apartments, I am UNABLE TO CARE FOR REACTIVE DOGS.
A typical day
Depends on the dog! I take care of dogs that don't care much for being outside, so we spend tons of time inside just snuggling and playing with toys. For dogs that love being outside, I live in a great neighbourhood for going on long or short walks, and there are some really cute parks around me for exploring and lying around in. I also like to drive to further parks for additional exploration. Depending on our mutual comfort and your dog's grasp of recall, I also like to go to Brenda Liepsik Dog Park on occasion. As I live in an apartment, we'll at the very least go on regular 15-20 minute potty walks throughout the day.
