🏥Certified in Pet CPR & First Aid by the Canadian Red Cross. I carefully follow every bit of instructions given by owners and guarantee safe, stimulating and fun play & walks. For puppies, I can offer socialization at clients’ place with my friendly 3-year-old husky-shepherd. She enjoys the company of other dogs and is very gentle, which allows me to offer playtime, puppy socialization, and small group walks (2-3 dogs max) for socialized, non-reactive dogs in a safe and structured environment. For house sitting, I stay in your home to provide consistent care and maintain your pet’s regular routine in a familiar setting. I ensure your pet stays active and engaged with regular exercise, playtime, and walks while you are away. I can also assist with light household tasks such as plant watering and basic tidying to help ensure a stress-free time away. I typically stay overnight and may leave during the day, depending on your pet’s needs, while ensuring they receive appropriate care throughout the day. I can also accommodate 24-hour stays without leaving for a small additional fee. I follow all care instructions carefully to ensure your pet’s needs and routines are fully respected.
Information Lucie Y. would like to know about your pet
I like to learn as much as possible about each pet ahead of time to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. 1. What is your pet’s daily routine and feeding schedule? 2. Do they have any allergies or food sensitivities I should be aware of? 3. Are there any treats they can or cannot have? 4. How would you describe their temperament, energy level, and personality? 5. Do they have any anxieties, triggers, or behaviors I should be aware of? 6. How do they behave on walks or around other animals? 7. Do they have any medical needs or require medication? 8. Are there any training cues, commands, or habits they respond to? 9. Would you like me to practice commands during walks or follow a specific routine? 10. What comforts them and helps them feel at home?
A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s energy level, personality, and routine. This includes structured walks, playtime, enrichment games, and plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. For dogs, I focus on safe exercise, sniff walks, and mental stimulation through simple training or puzzle-style activities. For puppies, I also include gentle, positive socialization and confidence-building experiences.

🐾 Trusted, loving pet care
Pet care experience
With over 5 years of experience in dog and cat sitting, dog walking, puppy care, and caring for pets of all kinds, I provide dog walks, group walks, drop-in visits for pets of all kinds, puppy care, cat care, and overnight pet sitting. My focus is reliable, high-quality care that helps pets feel safe and comfortable in their normal routine. I know furry (and non furry) friends are family, and I care for them with the same patience, attention and standards I would want for my own. A meet-and-greet is essential before any booking is accepted, so we can ensure it’s a good fit for both you and your dog. During this visit, we’ll go over your dog's routine, preferences, feeding instructions, walking habits, and any special care needs. It also gives your dog a chance to get comfortable with me in their own environment. Meet & greets typically take 15-60 minutes and are free of charge! I carefully follow all instructions and special requests so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I also provide regular updates, including messages, photos, and notes on how your dog is doing, so you always stay informed and reassured while you’re apart. I’m very flexible, so don’t hesitate to reach out with any specific needs or requests. For puppies, I offer safe, positive socialization with my gentle, friendly, non-reactive 3-year-old husky-shepherd to help your pup grow into a confident, well-socialized dog. I also offer small morning, lunchtime, and afternoon group walks (2-3 dogs max) in River Heights for socialized, non-reactive dogs.

Reviews

Lucie has been great! Very professional, and wonderful with my little dog :)

Lucie has been walking my dog a couple times per week when I go to the office. I am beyond pleased with how wonderful everything is going. Lucie is very responsible and punctual. She always sends pictures and updates after the walk which really appreciate. I know my dog is well taken care of while she is out with Lucie. I would highly recommend her for anyone needing dog walks or pet check ins.
I was very lucky to find Lucie to be my dog’s new regular walker. She asked lots of questions during our meet and greet to make sure she knew everything she needed to to provide the best service. She clearly cares a lot about pets and I highly recommend her services!

Lucie has been wonderful with my little senior dog. I appreciate her patience and communication - It is nice to know she is in good hands!
