Pet sitting has become my full time job over the last year! I tend to have some busy days throughout the week, but I am always willing to welcome new pets to my care! I would love to work out a schedule with you! If I am staying in your home during the week, I would request access to the internet as I also do other freelance work from my laptop during my spare time!

It is always important to gain trust with an animal, so if your pet is feeling shy, I will do my best to let them warm up to me on their own terms.

Please let me know ahead of time of any special care instructions you may have for your pets, including medications, behaviour patterns or issues, and meal and walk times! For house sitting bookings, please also advise how long your pet is able to be alone for so I can be sure my schedule can accommodate before booking with you!

I always make sure to give your pet as much love and attention as possible. Sticking to a schedule is important and I will try to follow your existing schedule as closely as I can. Of course, a good cuddle is my favourite way to bond with your pet! I would love to care for your animals and I look forward to hearing from you and making new furry friends!

I have been an animal lover my whole life! After losing my first dog, I started dog sitting for some family friends. It really helped me fill the void after losing mine, and I love being able to help provide love and care for other animals! When I found Rover, I knew it was the perfect job for me! I do have my own pets, an orange cat and an Australian Shepherd dog, both who I love very much, but I always have more love to give! I know how important pets are to their owners and strive to provide the best care when their owners can’t be around. I have experience with providing oral medication to both cats and dogs, and I also have experience with senior pets. There’s nothing I love more than a good cuddle! As for your home, I will always respect your space and leave it looking the way you left it! I also have experience caring for many other types of small animals! So far through Rover, I have cared for hamsters, Guinea pigs, bunnies, hermit crabs, a bearded dragon and a macaw! Please feel free to reach out if you have other critters that require care and I would be happy to discuss with you! Please note there will be an additional charge for any extra care that is needed. If you are located out of the city, please note there will be an additional charge added on to compensate for the mileage and extra driving time. The amount of this fee will be determined based on where you are located and how many visits are required.

Ellen was an amazing sitter. She took wonderful care of our house and our 3 puppies. We are new to the city and feel so relieved we lucked out with Ellen! Would highly recommend! Our puppies loved her!
We have been gone a month….we have two cats one is elderly and needs meds…..Ellen did such a wonderful job with her and my other cat ….cats were happy the house was kept neat….i would recommend her and I am looking forward to having a future with her as my cat sitter
We were away for 2 weeks, and we came home to a beautifully clean house and happy kitties. We so appreciated all the updates we got along the way and wouldn’t hesitate at all to recommend Ellen 😀
Ellen was a fantastic puppy/house sitter, caring for our two small Morkies while we were away for a week. They are usually quite anxious, but they took to Ellen right away! Ellen sent us daily updates with photos and left the house exactly as we had left it. We are so thankful for Ellen and the amazing care she provided for our boys while we were away! I'd recommend Ellen to anyone who is trying puppy sitting for the first as she is thorough, kind and patient, always willing to learn about the dogs and their routine.
