Home often, love going on walks !
I moved into a house in Winnipeg so I decided to reactivate my Rover account! Ever since I was little, I have been around dogs, 2 goldens to be exact. I love walking dogs and caring for them. I work shift work so my schedule isn't regular, but I am home during the day at least 3 times a week!

D'Arcy was a wonderful host for my energetic lab. She took her to play fetch and to the dog park and made sure she was exercised regularly. Communication was seamless and she was very accommodating when asked if pick-up time could be pushed a couple hours later than anticipated. I'd definitely recommend D'Arcy to anyone looking for a trusted home away from home.
Would 10/10 recommend. D’Arcy thoughtfully provided us with several updates while we were away and got our dog out for lots of exercise. We would be thrilled to book D’Arcy to dogsit again in the future.
D'Arcy took very good care of Miska, provided us updates and pictures during her stay and was very prompt in replying to our questions. Would definitely book with D'Arcy again!
D’Arcy took great care of our dog. We have a high energy breed (Belgian Malinois) and D’Arcy took care of her exercise and mental stimulation needs. She provided regular updates and photos too. Thank you!!

Guinness had an awesome overnight w/ D'Arcy! He got some really nice walks and was even allowed to sleep on the couch - spoiled boy! We'll definitely use D'Arcy again :).

Schedule
I work shift work, so I don't always have the same days off, but I always work at least 1 night shift and have 2 days off, so you can guarantee I have 3 days a week to care for a dog.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard, although not very large, but I am an active person who loves to run or hike, so if I am caring for a larger dog or a higher energy dog, I can take them for walks around the neighbourhood or park.
A typical day
I live pretty close to the dog park close to the Winnipeg Humane Society, so I could take the dog there and play fetch. I could also bring the dog to Assiniboine Park and go for walks/hikes there.

- I'd like to know if the dog chews anything, if the dog can be left alone for a an hour or two, if there is a certain way the owner disciplines them when they do something wrong, and when their meal times are. I enjoy small and big dogs, no breed preferences.
