Availability
I am a PhD student and work life balance for me is important and a little extra company from your pets is always nice when working or studying. Rest assured that your pet will get plenty of exercise as I am active with walking and/or running. I do have to go to work most days but have the flexibility to typically accommodate my schedule to your pet!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and baby gates to make sure your dogs are safe. They are allowed on furniture (if that is allowed at the owner's house as well). I recognize that routine is very important for dogs so I would keep to the dog's routine regardless of if they are at my house or yours. If the dog is crate trained, if they have to stay alone, I would leave them in their crate. Special precautions will be taken if you have a reactive dog, particularly on walks. * it will have to be cat free homes if house sitting as I am severely allergic to cats *

Information Camila C. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if there is any preference or routine for your pet. I think this is important for them especially when their owners are away.
A typical day
It is important that the dog have fun! I will ensure appropriate and adequate play time as well as physical stimulation such as walks or even runs. Dogs are typically let out in the morning to the yard for potty breaks and then are given a 30-60 min walk in the evening after work. If the dog is more high energy, then the dog would be given a quick walk ~ 15 min in the morning with their long 30-60 min walk in the evening.

Pet care experience
I was a volunteer for the Central Alberta Humane Society for over 4+ years so I have experience and am very comfortable with different types of temperaments, breeds and sizes. I had my red paw badge which allowed me to work with reactive or more complicated dogs. My experience makes me well versed to make sure your dog feels comfortable and safe! My family has also had dogs my whole life - Boxers (1) and French Bulldogs (4)! I enjoy taking dogs for long walks and am always the designated dog sitter for my other friends in the city.
Reviews

Camila took great care of Zarco! He was energetic and happy when I picked him up. She made sure he followed his new diet (despite his protest) which we really appreciated. She also made sure he got lots of love and attention. It was great getting pictures and updates while we were away. We will definitely be using her again for future travels. It was also great that we picked him up and he was nice and tired out and ready for cuddles. He's a bit of a prince and doesn't like to go out in the cold so it is always a trick to keep him exercised when it's cold.

Camila was amazing. She gave updates daily on how Zeus was doing. She went above and beyond for my little guy, who can be a handful. He can be anxious when he’s not home/with me and she made sure he was as comfortable as she could!

Camila was an excellent dogsitter! She connected with our dog almost immediately, took her on lots of walks, sent photos and videos and seemed to really love hanging out with her the 5 days she was in our home. She is also very responsible and easy to communicate and make arrangements with. I would highly recommend Camila to care for your dog and home!

Great communication throughout our vacation!
