About: For 2 years, I volunteered at Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society as a dog caregiver, learning through training and hands-on experience how to care for the especially vulnerable animals entrusted to our care. This included working with puppies and adult dogs, including some dogs that required more patience and care. However, most of my pet care experience comes from caring for my own small dog and various pets of family friends, especially their cats. I have always adored animals (often preferring them over humans... they're just easier to talk to, haha). I aim to be a gentle, calming presence for them. I love taking photos of the pets I care for and will be happy to provide photo updates! I am also more than willing to have a meet and greet beforehand to ensure I am a good fit for your pet. About: I grew up in a household with dogs and as an adult had an energetic husky, after his passing we got an orange long haired tabby cat who had moved to Calgary with our son. I miss the interaction with pets which is why I would like to help you with care of yours. I have recently retired and so I’m available during the week until 5 pm.
