“Very nice girl very reliable she will let you know during the day went she will be there I would recommend her you won’t be disappointed she cared for my dog with her heart or with any pet for that reason”

“It was suggested that I write a review but it's probably a bit early after two walks with Alex. Suffice it to say that we are very happy so far. Judy is very calm, and that works well with Alex because he can be a bit hyper. I also appreciate the detailed feedback of the walk and his various stops. In short, great!”

“Kerilyn was amazing! My dogs loved her, sometimes they can be picky with who they like. She communicated well and I felt so comfortable leaving my dogs in her hands. Will use her again for sure :)”

“Sarah-Beth is very knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors. She's great with my (2) dogs and very patient with both of them. So grateful to have connected with her!”

“Wang is an excellent dog sitter who consistently goes above and beyond. She doesn’t just walk my dog, she also helps with training during the walks, like calmly redirecting my reactive dog when encountering other dogs. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. She’s always on time, communicates well, and keeps me informed if she notices anything unusual with Mochi. She’s been walking Mochi for almost a month now, and she absolutely loves her! Highly recommend Wang to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful dog sitter.”

“She was very attentive and communicated clearly and consistently on each step of the process. My dog seemed to enjoy her company very much and was very satisfied with her walks. Would definitely recommend Mariana as a dog walker!”

“Stina helped me out so much with my good boy (and very last minute). She asked lots of questions specific to my dog and his training which made me feel confident about her care. I’ll definitely keep Stina in mind for the future!!”

About: I’ve been around all kinds of animals since I was a kid. Dogs, cats, horses, bunnies. I have pet sit for friends and family my whole life. I have 2 fur babies of my own who are my entire world so I understand fully the importance of having a pet sitter you can trust. I currently have a flexible work schedule so lots of opportunity for visits. I can be available Monday through Sunday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm At this time I would prefer pet visits be in your home and neighbourhood until we form a trustworthy bond before I would introduce your pet to my home and pets.

About: For 2 years, I volunteered at Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society as a dog caregiver, learning through training and hands-on experience how to care for the especially vulnerable animals entrusted to our care. This included working with puppies and adult dogs, including some dogs that required more patience and care. However, most of my pet care experience comes from caring for my own small dog and various pets of family friends, especially their cats. I have always adored animals (often preferring them over humans... they're just easier to talk to, haha). I aim to be a gentle, calming presence for them. I love taking photos of the pets I care for and will be happy to provide photo updates! I am also more than willing to have a meet and greet beforehand to ensure I am a good fit for your pet. In addition to my previous training at the shelter, I have also taken the online Pet First Aid course offered by Canadian Red Cross because I am always seeking to add to my abilities to ensure the pets I care for are as safe and well-cared for as possible. Currently on summer vacation, opening myself up to plenty of opportunities to care for your pets! As a result of not currently having a set routine, my schedule will vary a little bit, but I will try my best to make my availability as clear as possible. Once university starts in September I will have a more limited schedule, but I'm still happy to help when I can. I will take the time to become familiar with the specific care needs of your pet as it relates to your home, ensuring I am clear on everything I need to know.

“Finn has lots of energy so I was quite worried about having someone else walk him but Subha reassured me that she was still more than happy to walk him and it went exceptionally well! Will definitely be trusting Subha to walk Finn the next time I need this service. Thanks Subha!!”

About: Hello I grew up on a ranch/farm and I did take care of our dogs and cats we had throughout the years. I fed them and loved on them and played with them. Taking them for walks, and playing with their toys and giving them love and affection. I'm a stay at home mom of 2 kids and I would like to help others with walking their dogs and caring for them during the day. And it's something that I can have my kids with me when they are not in school. When I am in your home to care for your animals. I'll make sure they have fresh water, give them food if requested. Give them some pets. Let them outside to go to the bathroom. Play with them. All while respecting that I am in your home.

“Kevin is very friendly and professional! He came and met our family and Otto before he started walking him, and has taken him for 4 walks so far. Otto loved getting out during the day. We are so grateful for Kevin’s assistance during this busy season of life.”

About: I grew up in a household with dogs and as an adult had an energetic husky, after his passing we got an orange long haired tabby cat who had moved to Calgary with our son. I miss the interaction with pets which is why I would like to help you with care of yours. I have recently retired and so I’m available during the week until 5 pm. I’m flexible of course should your needs go outside my regular schedule. Since we have no pets in the house, I would love to open our house to your beautiful pet or I can come to you.

About: I’ve been a reliable and reasonable dog care taker since I was 10. Have experience in animal shelters. Experienced with puppies, seniors and adult dogs. I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time on my hands to play and give your dog’s some extra loving when needed. To ensure safety and trust, I prioritize your dog’s wellbeing by maintaining constant awareness of your dog’s surroundings and communicate effectively with you, the owner.

“Alexis walked our dog daily for 12 days while we were out of country - I know the dogs deeply loved it and it helped keep things normal for them!! Thank you so much Alexis, I know they will miss you! 😊”

About: Dogs of all sizes, shapes, and sass levels are welcome with me! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have worked in two animal shelters, so nothing surprises me. I’ve seen the zoomies, the stubborn sit-down strikes midway, the anxious tail tuckers, and the full blown cuddle monsters. I’m certified in force-free training and dog body language, so I know how to build trust, read their cues, and help them feel safe and understood. I’m also experienced with leash training, basic vet care, and can handle any medication or feeding schedule like clockwork. Whether your pup needs structure, extra patience, or just someone to spoil them rotten, I’ve got it covered. Basically, if your dog has needs, quirky, medical, behavioral, or just lots of love. I’m your person. I am currently in between jobs as well as full time in school! My schooling is completely asynchronous so I can move around schedules to make time for your animals! As of right now my availability is open! I do have three sweet little kitties at some so if I’m spending time away in your home I will need to step out once a day to feed my own animals! I can take care of your animal with minimal instructions, as long as there are no special needs/requests! I will take on the responsibility to watch over your animals and your home with the utmost care and treat your furbabies like my own! You can trust that your space and animals will be respected as I will do my absolute best to make sure you come home to the same conditions you left in. As long as I know where you keep your pet food and toys me and your fur baby will be golden!!

About: I am an experienced and dedicated stay-at-home pet mom based in Edmonton, Alberta. I cherish the opportunity to care for your furry family members with all the love and attention they deserve. I have previously cared for a large 95lb dog named Oakley and a beloved cat, Noah, who was with me for 10 years until unforeseen circumstances required their rehoming. Currently, I’m proud to share my home with Billie, a sweet husky/shepherd mix who is almost 2 years old and truly the princess of the house! I also live with a purebred 1-year-old standard poodle, three cats named Griffin, Neery, and Anara, and a 4-year-old leopard gecko named Asha. My experience includes daily care, bathing, and administering medications to both cats and dogs. I have managed complex medical needs such as treating my cat Noah through multiple bouts of pancreatitis and helping Billie recover from surgery for a luxated patella. I have also cared for a neighbor’s cat requiring IV hydration and injections. With plenty of time and genuine love for animals, I am fully committed to providing compassionate, attentive care for your pets and ensuring they feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. As a stay-at-home pet mom, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets all the care and attention they need. I spend my days feeding, walking, and playing with my dogs, cats, and geckos, making sure everyone stays happy and healthy. I’d love to keep your furry (and scaly) family members just as happy while you’re away! I provide attentive, loving care for every pet as if they were my own. Whether in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and stress‑free environment. I follow your pet’s usual routines, give them plenty of attention, and meet their individual needs—whether that’s playtime, walks, feeding, or medication. My goal is to keep them happy, healthy, and feeling loved while you’re away.

Rideau Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Highly reccomend melina! She kept me updated with photos and videos throughout the walk. My dog was well taken care of, and then she offered to bathe him after the walk as my leg is injured. Will definitely be using her services in the future for walking or boarding.

Thanks for the walks on a weekend that was overwhelming with kids activities! Also thank you for accommodating and hanging out with a 3rd dog at home, much appreciated! Karen and Dan are great, patient and walk long and far enough to have 2 very tired and happy pups that are normally bouncing off the walls.
