About: I’ve been caring for our family pets and my own pets my entire life. I’ve provided a home for both cats and dogs with a variety of different personalities and needs. I’ve been trusted with walking, feeding and watching my family and friends fur babies on many occasions. My goal is that every animal in my care feels safe, comfortable, and loved while ensuring they receive the patience, attention, and care they deserve. I’m currently a student. I’m available between classes for potty breaks, walks, or some play time. I am also available after classes, time will vary based on my schedule, and weekends. I have two lovely cats in my apartment, one of which will be your pets best friend, and the other prefers to keep to herself. I will do my best to ensure your pet sticks to their regular routine, whether it’s in my home or yours.

About: Our family included a sweet cat who lived to the age of 19. We also have a dog who is 5 years old and we understand the joys of puppy training. We enjoyed Puppy school and agility training and understand what is required to keep dogs happy and well exercised. I recently retired and I am looking for ways to stay active and dog walking is an activity that I enjoy. We currently have our own dog and he loves companions when appropriate. If your pet is not social- no problem! I have a fully fenced yard and a 5 year old mini golden doodle who loves furry friends. I enjoy long walks and am well prepared with treats and water. Rain or snow don't deter me from a walk- its always enjoyable with the right outerwear! I have attended puppy school with my dog and understand the concepts of dog behavior and how to keep dogs in control, engaged and happy.

“This was Georgia's first time with a stranger and so I was understandably nervous as Georgia can be nervous with strangers. Maddy told me that Georgia was a little difficult at first but with Maddy's understanding, she saw what made Georgia more relaxed and took steps to calm her. She also did a fabulous job of grooming and when I picked Georgia up she looked beautiful and seemed very happy and content. Thank you so much for a wonderful job.”

About: I am a Dog Lover. I available in the winter November 1 to March 31. I have always had a dog. Now I work long hours in the summer so in the winter I can get my dog fix by caring for yours while you head south for your holiday. I only take in 1 pet and 3 walks a day in rural Rea on island. My winter project while you head south I provide loving stable home. I only have one boarder at a time so they get 100% of my attention. We walk alot everyday In rural area. On leash or off leash depending on your dog's training. Routine is Important and so is fresh air!

We couldn't ask for a better sitter than Sadie. She sends plenty of photos and updates, and it's obvious how much she cares about Tucker. She treats him like family, and he absolutely loves being with her. In fact, when we arrive, he runs straight into her house and barely looks back at us! We always know he's in great hands.
Dan was absolutely wonderful with Frodo. I’m almost reluctant to leave such a good review because I’d quite like to keep him a secret! He was incredibly caring, reliable, and attentive, and I felt completely at ease knowing Frodo was in such good hands. He took the time to understand Frodo’s routine and all his little quirks, kept me updated, and made sure he was happy and comfortable. Frodo came home relaxed and happy, which says it all. I would trust Dan with him again without hesitation. An absolute gem of a sitter (although I may regret letting everyone else know). 😄
Melissa and her lovely family took great care of our Irish wolfhound Henry, not in the least phased by his 165-lb frame. Because he tends to be anxious if left alone in a new place, she even slept downstairs on his first night there. Her sweet dog Tulip also helped him feel more at ease. Henry soon relaxed, chilling in their dog bed (and cat bed--at the same time!) and snuggling on the couch. We look forward to leaving him with Melissa again.
This was my first experience with Rover. I was nervous about leaving my girl Minnie overnight for the first time. Lisa put my mind at ease quickly, and Minnie was so well cared for. I got frequent updates and photos and she looked very happy and relaxed. Highly recommend Lisa—an attentive caregiver and kind person as well! Will definitely use her again!

Kate was great!! We agreed to a meet and greet so Kate could meet Tucker before we made any final decisions on boarding ( so luck would have it, in the rain 😀 ) Drop off was quick and easy, and within a short period of time we were receiving pictures and updates of how things were going. Kate was very communicative and was constantly giving us updates on how Tucker was doing. This definitely put my mind at ease as this was the first time in 7 years that we needed to leave our fur baby with someone other than immediate family. Tucker got to enjoy lots of long walks, play time and of course lots of snuggles. We would be more than happy to hire Kate again to watch Tucker ❤️
We left our dog with Owen for the weekend and they seemed to really enjoy the time theh had with our dog. He was very attentive to her needs and took real good care of her. Blue heelers have a lot of energy, but Owen seemed to match her. If ever we're passing through Kingston again we would feel good leaving her with Owen.
Thomas did an great job with our cat Rosie. I really felt like she was loved while there. The house itself was also spacious so she had lots of space to roam. Rosie has medical issues and so needs meds at very specific times of day and Thomas made sure to let us know that she got them. I would definitely have him cat-sit for is again 😊

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
