I adore all animals and I am very eager to be pals with your pet! Finding trust and a balance of understanding with animals is a process that I treasure. I deeply respect the different preferences of each pet and I love the patient process of meeting them in an encouraging way that they can find both welcoming and calming. I have experience with animals of all ages, sizes and temperaments. Pet owners of all sorts, please don’t hesitate to reach out 😃 I have been animal-obsessed my whole life and spent the first 13yrs of my life convincing my parents that it was absolutely necessary that I have a dog buddy to grow up alongside. When I was 14, I finally was able to adopt Millie, my mini goldendoodle bestie. I had the magical gift of filling her entire life with love. From puppy who ate my socks off my feet and who hung from the hem of my sweater with her teeth … to 14.5 yrs later, needing daily diabetes medical care and pushing her along in a pram to make sure she still got to see the world outside when she could no longer walk on her own. I’ve found such immense joy in every very wondrous stage of her life and would be so grateful to share what I’ve learned with your pal. All time with dogs is an incredible gift to me and I would be so grateful to spoil your dog with love and attention while hosting a vacation that is both entertaining, and cozy.

Katherine is a very charming, enthusiastic, and positive person. She had the energy for my lil fur babies. She always sent me pictures, and even celebrated my one fur baby's birthday with streamers and bows. I felt very relaxed knowing my girls were safe with her.
It’s just a big love fest for my dog Indy. She almost didn’t want to come home!
The pups had a wonderful stay with Katherine!! Lots of attention, walks and cuddles while they were away from us! Highly recommend!
She was phenomenal with my babies. Gave the kitties space to feel comfortable, and loved on my friendly pup from the start. She kept me updated, and asked questions without spamming me at work. She took the job with 2 days notice and was incredibly understanding when I was running late. I cannot suggest Katherine enough.

Schedule
I have a very open schedule and very open heart🤓 I am particularly eager to fill both with being a caring buddy to any animals who will hang out with me 🌻 I work from home and find it such a pleasure to have a dog buddy nearby. It’s my favourite thing to have a friendly shadow by my side who I can give heaps of love to all throughout the day. I have a fenced in yard and currently spend a lot of the day doing woodcarving from my little shed workshop (it’s very new, and I love it so much! Yaaay😃❣️). It’s really quite dreamy to be able to open the shed’s double doors up nice and wide, and have a pup pal able to meander in and out as they please. This means that between walks, I can offer the cosiness of my art space, as well as some room to play outside and bask in the sun ☀️💐

Pet friendly house with safe room to explore, cosy corners to cuddle and open spaces to play. There is a safe, fenced in yard and I am always ready to fit whatever specific needs your pet might want.
A typical day
Ready to leap into the fun of an early morning...if it's what your pet also wants on their vacation :-) I am very careful to follow closely with the specific needs, personality and energy of each individual pet (guest) :-)
