For over 3 decades, I have been providing high quality care to extended fur family, as well as to those of our friends and neighbors who have been generous enough to lend me some of their pets' time. From big dogs to small dogs, young dogs to old dogs, our single-family detached home and fully fenced yard is sure to provide a warm and comfortable environment for your well-natured, and good-with-kids pup.

Stephen, Holly, and their family were wonderful hosts for our puppy, Cedar! This was Cedar’s first overnight stay away from us, and we came home to a happy, healthy, and tired pup. We really appreciated the photo updates, prompt communication, reliability, and their willingness to care for a high energy 6.5 month old puppy. It gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again in the future!
We left our 12.5-year-old senior bulldog, Daisy, with Stephen and his family for three weeks while we were out of the country, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Daisy has anxiety, some health concerns, and requires daily medication, so leaving her is never easy. From the moment we met Stephen, we felt confident she would be in caring and capable hands. Throughout our trip, we had complete peace of mind knowing our fur baby wasn’t just being watched — she was fully integrated into their family life, loved, and thoughtfully cared for. We received regular updates and photos of Daisy cuddling with the kids and relaxing on the couch with their dog, which meant so much to us. When we picked her up, Daisy was happy, calm, and well-adjusted — the best reassurance any pet owner could ask for. We are incredibly grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Stephen and his family again. Highly recommend!

Stephen (& family) were fantastic hosts for our dog, Beasley. Beasley hasn’t had a lot of experience with boarding, but he was immediately comfortable with the hosts and their dog. It felt like they just took him in as part of the family and made him feel welcome. They sent us lots of updates and pictures so we could see our guy was happy and well. Stephen was also very flexible and accommodating for pick up and drop off, which made our trip much easier. We will definitely be back!
Will definite bring Rosie back for another visit when required.

Schedule
I work from home 3 weekdays days out of 5, and can come home for lunch on those 2 days where I have to be in the office to let your pup out and provide food and water. Long walks, lots of fetch, and plenty of pictures are in store if you choose to trust our family with your fur babies.

Safety, trust & environment
We have one family dog already, a 5-year old pug named George, who has shown himself to be very good with other dogs, both big and small. We take long walks around the neighborhood, stopping to say high to other dogs and their owners. We also occasionnaly go to the dog park Kingston East, or sometimes further afield for beach days or hikes on local trails or conservation areas. Our pug naturally sleeps on the bed with us (we couldn't stop him if we tried), so we'db be delighted to extend your dog the same courtesy. They'd become a part of the family.
Pets
A typical day
We love to go on long walks in our Greenwood West neighborhood, saying hi to friends and neighbors along the way. We often play fetch in our fenced backyard, and provide plenty of outside play time for your pup to famiarize and play with ours. Our pug George can play all day long.
