I have loved and worked with animals for over 10 years and am passionate about helping animals find safe, loving homes. As a foster parent with the Kingston Humane Society, I have helped care for and place many cats into their forever homes. I have experience working with cats with specific medical and behavioural needs, including overweight cats, senior cats, and cats recovering from dental procedures and surgeries. I have also worked with local humane societies to help raise funds for spay and neuter programs and have worked to support adoption efforts within the community! I have all a cat would need at my place! All you need to do is bring your kitty. Feel free to message me if you have any questions at all.

Safety, trust & environment
I always try to make pets feel as safe and comfortable as possible. With cats especially, I usually let them come to me first instead of forcing interaction since every cat is different. If they want attention and cuddles, I’m happy to give them lots of love, but if they’d rather have their own space, that’s totally okay too. I try to stick to their normal routine as much as possible and make sure they have a calm, clean, and low-stress environment. Through fostering, I’ve worked with a lot of shy, senior, and special-needs cats, so I’ve learned how important patience and trust are when caring for animals.

Mehr was very kind and understanding. On short notice my kitty was given a nice comfy and clean environment to relax and destress in and I was very happy with the service.
Mehr is a caring person who truly loves every animal as if they were her own. I recently went on a trip with her, and an outdoor cat came up to her and immediately started showing her lots of affection, which she warmly reciprocated as always. Any animal would be safe with her because she genuinely cares deeply for each and every one of them.
Mehr has been my go to cat-sitter for the last 2 years. I met her at a KHS event and she’s been a reliable option for when I’m out of town ever since. I really appreciate the emphasis on communication that Mehr brings, both through questions on how to deliver the best care and consistent updates on how my fur baby is doing!

Schedule
I work from home, so I’m able to give your pet plenty of attention, companionship, or quiet alone time depending on their needs and personality.
