“Thank you to Linda and Bob for taking such good care of Chester for the week. Chester enjoys his time there and comes home happy, we really appreciate how they make him a part of their family.”

“Brigit and Robert were absolutely fabulous!! We highly recommend them to anyone who wants their fur family member very well taken care of. Lucy, our husky mix rescue, definitely loved her stay with them. We knew she was in great hands and having an awesome time too because of the updates with photos that they sent us during Lucy's stay. We will for sure book Brigit and Robert again. Thank you so much!!!”

“Holly made our first Rover experience a positive one! Our dog Penny seemed very comfortable and we loved getting regular updates from Holly. We were able to enjoy our 1st family vacation without any worries and will book again with her in the future!”

“Words can not justly express how grateful I am to Stephen and Holly. The care they provided Saul during my extended time away was beyond extraordinary. It was not an easy time with harsh winter conditions but they ensured Saul was provided several walks a day as well as regular visits to dog parks for him to run and play. Saul is full of energy and very playful for being 13 months old so I’m sure it wasn’t always easy to meet his demands yet Stephen and Holly did. They treated him like a member of their family. They always send pictures of Saul keeping me posted of his activities. I especially enjoyed the pictures of Saul and family members when he would be resting near and in the arms of their family. I have to say I believe Saul is missing them and their dog George his new adopted family. I would not think of ever leaving Saul with anybody other than Stephen and Holly. You will not be disappointed.”

“Indy was well looked after at Kristiina’s home. She was in very good spirits when I picked her up. Kristiina adapted (enjoyed!) to her little quirks easing any stress that Indy might have had with her first stay. I will not hesitate to leave Indy in her care in the future.”

“She is simply the best! My cat Aurelio didn't miss me at all because he was having the best time of his life with Danesha. She sent me daily updates and played with my cat all the time. Highly recommended!!!!”

“Ricci is amazing. She adores our Bernedoodle Westley like he is her own, and she’s always taking time to send me pictures, videos and updates. I wouldn’t leave Westley with anyone else!!!”

“Nikki always has an amazing time with Robyn! She takes such good care of her, sends a lot of pictures/updates, and took the time to get to know Nikki’s personality and routine. Will be booking again!”

“Tito loved her stay with Madison and had a great time playing with Fin. Thank you for being so accommodating! 100 percent recommend and will look to book again next time Tito needs a place to stay.”

“Our little guy had such a great weekend with Caitlin! We loved seeing the photos of their about town adventures! Our Buddy is an old guy with some special needs and we really appreciated Caitlin's sensitive approach and caring nature. We will definitely rebook in the future!”

“They took such good care of Cloud and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated the updates and photos. He looked happy and comfortable, and I’m so grateful for the care they provided. Would definitely book again!”

“Great place for your doggo to stay! Heather and her family were welcoming, took very good care of my dog, and made sure to keep us updated throughout the stay. They took Chase (my doggo) out for walks, he got to socialize with their dog and their kids, and Chase had a big smile upon my return and you could tell he had a good time. If you ever need a place you can leave your doggo without worry, this is it. Thank you Heather. Couldn't ask for better.”

“We left our dog with Walelign for two weeks on very short notice because so our usual sitters were unavailable. It was clear from day one though that he is a big dog lover and that he will take great care of our pet. He is very communicative, he sent photos every day like we requested, and he wasn’t afraid to ask before introducing new food and treats. We could see on the pictures he sent us Korra was having a great time! We will definitely be leaving Korra with him again, and we wholeheartedly recommend Walelign to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Charlie and his wife were great. We gave them a smaller ‘princess’ dog and a large high energy dog and they took them both in with no issue! Dogs seemed to have a good time! I would definitely board here again!”

About: With nearly a decade of pet-sitting experience, I have helped with training cats and dogs in skills such as "sit", "down", and "high-five". I have a six-year-old Australian Labradoodle, whom I regularly care for. I'm a student in Kingston and work as a lifeguard/swim instructor, so my schedule varies by season. I like to plan my Rover commitments monthly and prioritize dog walking services. I enjoy providing pet care while I'm away from my hometown (Ottawa), as I have a dog of my own whom I miss dearly. When providing house sitting services, I am dedicated to maintaining open communication with clients via daily texts, photos, and/or emails. Please let me know of your pet's favourite activities, including walks, playing fetch, arranging play-dates, and visiting dog parks.

About: I have three cats of my own and they are my everything. Mochi, my oldest, has pancreatitis and IBS. I am very experienced with administering oral medication. I ensure my kitties are happy, healthy, fed, and safe each day. They’re all very playful and I spend hours tuckering them out at playtime.

“Treena looked after my cat Sweet Cheeks for a week coming to my home twice daily. I can tell by the pictures that were sent to me that my cat absolutely fell in love with Treena. I highly recommend her services. Thank you Treena for taking good care of Sweet Cheeks”

“Excellent cat caregiver. Alyce listened to all our cat care instructions and provided great support. All our 3 cats are very fond of her, even our reserved ragdoll. Alyce communicated quickly after each visit and sent us many pictures of our happy house lions.”

“This was my first time booking with Rover as well as leaving my cat for a long period of time, so I was a little nervous. Yidan was absolutely amazing! She put extra effort and care into taking care of my cat. The updates and photos were extra nice as it gave me peace of mind knowing she was well taken care of. I would definitely book were here again.”

About: I have lots of experience babysitting my auntie’s 3 dogs (Corgi, Newfoundland doodle mix, Golden Retriever) and my uncle’s Husky mix. I’ve always been very passionate about dogs and really wanted one, but have been unable to because of my mom’s allergy. I’m a responsible student at Queen’s university who will make sure to treat your dog with lots of love. As a university student, I have classes during the day but am usually available from the afternoon onwards on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. My weekends are also usually free, so I will have lots of time to ensure the pups have a good experience. I live in an apartment on the fourth floor (we have an elevator), which is a little difficult for keeping large dogs in for extended periods of time, but I will make sure that your pup spends lots of time exercising outside.

“Shelley looked after our cat Jinx while we were away for 2 weeks. We got daily updates of her activities. Shelley arranged an intial meeting with Jinx before we left which was great. Would happiky ask Shelley again to mind Jinx in the future.”

“Ana took care of my cat Ellie for a 2 night / day stay. She was very welcoming, and shared picture and updates that gave us peace of mind. She took care to ensure that both my cat and her cat had needed time to slowly get to know each other. Would recommend.”

About: I’ve had my own dogs for 13 years so I am patient , reliable, and have genuine love for dogs of all ages. I’m attentive to routines, comfortable with puppies and senior dogs, which make sure each pet feels safe, calm, and cared for. I am a queens student who has lots of spare time in between classes, after school and on weekends to spend with ur fluffy friend💌 I care by putting my whole heart into these pups. I bring toys, give lots of cuddles, and treat them like my own. I like to make sure my own dogs have really had enough time outside since a lot of them time animals are inside too often, i’ll always make sure your dog has had enough love and outdoor time.

“Georgia was amazing! She came to our house before we went away to do a meet-and-greet and learn a little bit about our cat, which was really great. Georgia was communicative, kind, and took great care of our little guy. We would highly recommend Georgia!”

About: Hi! I’m a fourth year Queen’s University student who seriously misses having dogs around while I’m at school! Back home, I have six dogs of my own (yes, six lol! chaos, love, and fur everywhere), and I’ve fostered over 100 dogs throughout my lifetime with many different dog rescues. Basically, my life resume is just… dogs. I love pups of all ages, from high-energy puppies to sweet senior dogs who just want a slower stroll and some extra love. A few of my dogs have been through puppy school, where we both learned tricks, so I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training, routines, and good walking manners. I truly believe dogs are better than humans (no offence), and I treat every dog like they’re my own. Whether your pup needs a long adventure walk, a potty break, or just someone who genuinely loves being around dogs, I’ve got them covered. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and tail wags are always my top priority 🐾 Since I am a university student with a mix of in-person and online classes, that leaves me with lots of consistent free time between classes. My schedule doesn’t change week to week, and I’m free most weekends for walks, drop-ins, and quality pup time! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routines closely so they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, from playful puppies to gentle seniors, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. I prioritize safety on walks, keep spaces tidy, and provide regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pup is in great hands:)
“Luke was fantastic. He is very responsive and friendly. Texting and coordinating with him was a breeze, and I felt very safe with him in charge of things. I received timely updates and he seemed to get a genuine kick out of my pets (the photos were very cute). I'd recommend him very strongly!”

“Pamesha et son conjoint ont été extraordinaires avec notre Léo durant notre croisière dans les 1000 Islands. Ils ont été patients et attentionnés. De plus, j’ai reçu beaucoup de très belles photos, plus belles que celles que j’arrive à prendre de Léo moi-même! Encore un grand merci d’avoir pris soin de notre Léo, nous étions en complète confiance 🤩”

“Harvey had the best time with Daniel! He was so attentive, kind and he definitely tuckered him out with all the adventures they had! I also appreciated all the updates and photos, I could tell my little guy was having the best time!”

About: I’ve had plenty of experience caring for dogs since I got my own when I was 8. I have been around dogs of all different breeds, ages, and sizes, and I love them all! I have always been the go to dog sitter for friends and family because I am reliable, trustworthy, and attentive. Every dog has its own needs and routine so I will always make sure they are loved, cared for, and come home happy! I am currently in my 3rd year at Queen’s studying Health. I am available all day Thursday-Sunday. I have limited weekly commitments outside of classes so I should be very flexible with timing. I live in a central area in Kingston with nearby parks and lots of walkable streets. My home also has plenty of room for a dog and it has an outdoor area!
About: RELIABLE AND CARING PET SERVICES: I have 6+ years of veterinary assistant experience and 2+ years of safety-focused dog-walking from volunteering at the local humane society. I love dogs of any size or breed, and have experience with cats and most farm animals, as well. I would love to help with any kind of pet care you may require! I have extensive experience with administering medications and monitoring conditions, so I would be comfortable caring for older, sick, or special needs’ dogs, as well as dogs of any kind of temperament. I am familiar with basic training concepts and able to reinforce current practices to help meet goals while in my care. My family dog, Finn, is a very high-energy Irish Setter, so I can also accommodate and enjoy spending time with dogs of all energy levels! I am comfortable and happy providing 2+ hours of outdoor exercise in hiking environments (on-leash) if you are comfortable with me transporting your pet in my SUV vehicle. My compressed work schedule allows plenty of time for attentive pet- and house-sitting to keep your furry family members happy and entertained - please see my ongoing availability! I am able to follow all preferred pet owner protocols diligently. I am aware of the importance of safe food and substance storage, as well as monitoring for normal bodily functions and detecting common signs of distress which may require medical attention.
About: For over 3 decades, I have been providing high quality care to extended fur family, as well as to those of our friends and neighbors who have been generous enough to lend me some of their pets' time. From big dogs to small dogs, young dogs to old dogs, our single-family detached home and fully fenced yard is sure to provide a warm and comfortable environment for your well-natured, and good-with-kids pup. I work from home 3 weekdays days out of 5, and can come home for lunch on those 2 days where I have to be in the office to let your pup out and provide food and water. Long walks, lots of fetch, and plenty of pictures are in store if you choose to trust our family with your fur babies. We have one family dog already, a 5-year old pug named George, who has shown himself to be very good with other dogs, both big and small. We take long walks around the neighborhood, stopping to say high to other dogs and their owners. We also occasionnaly go to the dog park Kingston East, or sometimes further afield for beach days or hikes on local trails or conservation areas. Our pug naturally sleeps on the bed with us (we couldn't stop him if we tried), so we'db be delighted to extend your dog the same courtesy. They'd become a part of the family.
“Ana was very friendly, polite and knew exactly how to take care of my Chico. Definitely recommend her to anyone who need to leave their furbabies either for a few hours or a few days.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Walelign. Mimi was very well cared for, and we truly appreciated the constant communication, we always received quick and thoughtful updates whenever we reached out. Mimi came back calm and happy, which means a lot to us. She is usually quite anxious around new people, but she didn’t show any signs of stress this time and didn’t cry at all. It was clear she felt safe and comfortable. Walelign truly went above and beyond, and we are very grateful. We would absolutely trust him again and feel confident leaving Mimi in his care. Thank you so much!”

“Our dog took to Peter right away! Steeler had a blast playing with Peter’s dog and we were entirely comfortable with Peter’s care for a day. He was flexible and responsive too. No hesitations to recommend his services.”

“Elsa have taken very good care of both Theo and Tansy. We had poor experiences before with other people. Esla has been wonderful to deal with regularly updating with photos. Both Theo and Tansy were very happy and we would recommend Elsa to anyone based on our experience. Thank you elsa for taking good care of them.”

About: We have a quiet, orderly home with regular routines. Our last dog lived to be 16 years old and needed quite intensive care in the last year. We live in a quiet neighbourhood and are happy to take your pet to the dog park nearby or the Lemoine Point walking trail. I have few daily commitments outside of the home and am seldom gone for more than an hour or two. An anxious or timid dog would do well in my care. I believe in plenty of walks and playtime with favourite toys. I’m also happy to let them cuddle with me as much as they want.
“Our dogs were with Heather for the day, they came home happy and tired. They had an amazing day. We would definitely have our dogs stay with Heather again. She gave us updates ( photos and videos) and her sweet dog Elphie was a great playmate. Thank you thank you Heather for welcoming and taking care of Archie and Delilah.”

About: Dear pawrents, I have taken care of dogs since I have memory. When I was born, a beautiful German shepherd was brought home and we grew up together, since then, my love for dogs (and all animals) is inexplicable. I have taken care of my own dogs (Belgian and German shepherd, lab, schnauzer, dachshund, mixed, etc.). I have taken care of senior dogs with different needs (medication, carrying them to walk, etc.) and some dogs with diseases such as chronic seizures, cancer and arthritis. As a pet owner myself, I totally get it! Our pets aren't just pets, they're family. And that's why I'm on a mission to give them the VIP treatment they deserve. I'm currently working in a remote (work from home) position, so I have availability to take care of your puppy/ies during the day. I’m available for boarding during the weekends with some breaks in between so I can take care of my own dogs. I prioritize the comfort and well-being of the pets while respecting the routines and preferences set by the owners. Here's how I typically approach it: - Initial Consultation: I start by scheduling an initial consultation with the owners to discuss their dog's needs, routines, feeding schedules, medical history, and any specific instructions or preferences they may have. - Visits: During my visits, I ensure that the dogs have access to food, water, and a clean environment. I follow their feeding schedule and provide any necessary medications or supplements as instructed by the owners. - Exercise and Playtime: I engage the dogs in regular exercise and playtime sessions to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. This could include walks, play sessions in the backyard, or games indoors (depending on the weather). - Potty Breaks: I take the dogs out for regular potty breaks according to their usual schedule, ensuring that they are comfortable and their living space remains clean. - Updates and Communication: Throughout my time with the dog(s), I maintain open communication with the owners, providing updates and photos to reassure them that their pets are in good hands. - Security and Safety: I take measures to ensure the security and safety of the home, such as checking that doors and windows are securely locked and being mindful of any potential hazards in the environment. Overall, my goal is to provide personalized and attentive care to dogs in their own familiar surroundings, minimizing stress and ensuring a positive experience for both the pets and their owners.
About: Our family included a sweet cat who lived to the age of 19. We also have a dog who is 5 years old and we understand the joys of puppy training. We enjoyed Puppy school and agility training and understand what is required to keep dogs happy and well exercised. I recently retired and I am looking for ways to stay active and dog walking is an activity that I enjoy. We currently have our own dog and he loves companions when appropriate. If your pet is not social- no problem! I have a fully fenced yard and a 5 year old mini golden doodle who loves furry friends. I enjoy long walks and am well prepared with treats and water. Rain or snow don't deter me from a walk- its always enjoyable with the right outerwear! I have attended puppy school with my dog and understand the concepts of dog behavior and how to keep dogs in control, engaged and happy.

About: I provide safe, patient, and loving care for pets of all ages and personalities. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, feeding routines, walks, playtime, and keeping pets calm and comfortable while their owners are away. I treat every pet like family and focus on reliability, clear communication, and gentle handling. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I am available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and most weekends, allowing me to provide consistent, reliable attention and flexible care based on each pet’s specific needs and routine. I create a calm, clean, and secure environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. I carefully follow all instructions, keep doors and gates secure, monitor behavior, and provide gentle supervision at all times. In a client’s home, I respect their space, maintain routines, and ensure pets receive attentive, trustworthy care.
“Ricci has been great with Tony. She's taken care of him a few times now, and he comes back nice and pooped – the sign of a good stay! She has been sensitive to Tony's needs and my training methods, and he's been happy to go back each time.”

“Kirti and her husband were super flexible with our changing agenda which was very appreciative. Our dog quickly warmed up to them and made herself feel at home. Typically she does go on walks or eat the first day of care however she did both . This is a sign that she was given the attention she needed and felt very comfortable with them. Thank you!”

More than happy to just run around and play catch too 🎾 I’m a 2nd year medical student right now, and my schedule/days have pretty consistent hours. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have cared for dogs, cats, lizards, hamsters, fish, and more. I’m also a consistent pet sitter for multiple families in my neighbourhood, which has given me hands-on experience and long-term trust with different pets and routines. Being away from home at university has honestly made me miss being around animals even more, so caring for pets is something I genuinely love doing—not just a job. Because of my background, I’m comfortable working with a wide variety of temperaments, from high-energy puppies to shy or anxious pets and senior animals who need a calmer, more patient approach.

“She is simply the best! My cat Aurelio didn't miss me at all because he was having the best time of his life with Danesha. She sent me daily updates and played with my cat all the time. Highly recommended!!!!”

About: I’ve been caring for our family pets and my own pets my entire life. I’ve provided a home for both cats and dogs with a variety of different personalities and needs. I’ve been trusted with walking, feeding and watching my family and friends fur babies on many occasions. My goal is that every animal in my care feels safe, comfortable, and loved while ensuring they receive the patience, attention, and care they deserve. I’m currently a student. I’m available between classes for potty breaks, walks, or some play time. I am also available after classes, time will vary based on my schedule, and weekends. I have two lovely cats in my apartment, one of which will be your pets best friend, and the other prefers to keep to herself. I will do my best to ensure your pet sticks to their regular routine, whether it’s in my home or yours.
“Melissa was amazing! Not only was she transparent but you can tell she loves her guests like her own. Bowie and Yuki were well taken care of and most definitely enjoyed their stay. Will definitely book again with her if needed, thank you Melissa! ❤️”

“Poppy loved her stay with Kirti. Five days with pretty miserable weather. Kirti was very quick to respond and I got lovely pictures of her daily activities. Poppy is already asking when she can go back.”

About: Heyy! I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been something I genuinely love. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs, and all sizes, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I’m especially experienced with reactive and separation anxiety dogs. I understand that every animal has their own personality, needs, and comfort level, so I always take the time to make them feel safe and cared for. I genuinely love hosting and caring for animals, and I’d be excited to give your pet the same attention, patience, and care I would give my own. I’m currently a university student with only 1–4 hours of classes per day during the week, and Mondays are completely free. Outside of class and on weekends, I’m usually home with plenty of time to care for your pets. I have lots of time and energy for pups, including walks, playtime, cuddles, and keeping them company. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I keep my home very clean and organized and have quality pet supplies to make pets feel comfortable. For daycare and boarding, I can care for pets in my home or yours. My home has a spacious, private bedroom that can be used as a safe and comfortable space for your pet when they need quiet time or rest. I’m also very attentive to cleanliness and will regularly clean up after pets to keep their environment fresh and hygienic. For house sitting, I’m flexible and can potentially stay at your home full-time depending on your needs and preferences.
