“This was my first time using Rover and Peter, it was such a relief knowing my dog was in such safe hands. My dog beau absolutely adored Peter as well and Beau was so happy after his walk! I will forsure be rebooking with Peter!”

“Juno started whimpering when he saw Thomas arrive for his walk. On a cold, windy, rainy day - Juno had no other hope for exercise. He gives 4 stars. He said he’d give 5 but Thomas didn’t have steak in his pocket.”

“Vanessa was so great! She tracked how many pee’s my little gremlin took (she marks her territory) and she brought in two of my packages for me which is so nice. Thank you so much Vanessa! Will definitely be contacting you again”

About: I spent 8 years caring for a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with big personalities (and even bigger dogs). I currently take care of a 2-year-old cat, which means I’m well-versed in earning trust, respecting boundaries, and providing attention on their terms. I am currently working part-time so I have all the extra time to take care of your loved ones! Plus having a car so extra flexible! I make sure pets always have access to fresh water, a safe environment, and plenty of attention. I’m also respectful of the home, keeping things clean and secure. Whether it’s a walk or a visit, I focus on creating a calm, reliable experience so both pets and owners feel completely at ease.
About: My partner and I have had lots of past experience with taking care of dogs! We have both had labrador retrievers, shepherds, Alaskan Malamute, border collies etc. We currently have a seven month old labrador/husky that we rescued when she was 9 weeks old. She is currently training to be a service dog but still has some puppy brain and enjoys playing with other dogs!! We have trained her in many domains and she currently knows: sit, stay, down, back up, waiting at doors, paw, high five, spin, around, crate, support, hug, off, leave it, and are working on much more. We would be happy to help train your puppy/dog if you are currently working on anything! My partner and I currently work full time and our pup usually stays in her crate for 7 hours. However, we are free most weekends are able to care for your puppy’s. Our schedule during the week would be potty breaks every 4-8 hours while on the weekends it would be every 0-2 hours. During the work week we are happy to walk your dogs after 5pm :) We have a partially fenced yard and our dog goes on a long tie to ensure she stays safe! She is crate and house trained and usually stays in her crate throughout our work days to ensure she is safe as she still likes to chew on wires! Our puppy and your dogs safety is our number 1 priority :)

About: My family has owned a pet sitting business for 20 plus years. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am a university student with a super flexible schedule. I am available 7 days a week! I can also tailor based on clients needs I treat all pets as I would my own. It is my priority to ensure I follow all client preferences and maintain the routine that the pets have with their owners.

About: I am Pet First Aid certified and certified through Fear Free’s Shelter Program and Boarding & Daycare Program, which trained me to recognize fear, anxiety, stress signals, arousal levels, body language, and environmental triggers. I grew up in a dog friendly family and spent 12 years caring for my family dog, including her current senior stage care. My Life Sciences and Biomedical Science background also makes me detail-oriented and observant with changes in behaviour, comfort, and well-being. During walks, I focus on secure handling, safe routes, calm interactions, and adapting the walk to each dog’s temperament, age, and energy level. My goal is to provide reliable, low-stress dog walking that owners can trust. I am currently in my summer break (May-Sept). while writing up my research paper draft, I will be flexible with my schedule 7 days a week 6:00am-10:00pm for dog walking. I have full G license with my own vehicle. For dog walking, I focus on safety, consistency, and calm handling. Before each walk, I confirm the dog’s routine, leash or harness setup, energy level, triggers, and any special instructions. I also apply what I learned from Fear Free shelter and boarding/daycare training by paying close attention to body language, fear-anxiety-stress signals, arousal level, thresholds, and environmental triggers. I check that equipment is secure, choose safe routes, avoid unnecessary dog to dog interactions, and adjust the pace to the dog’s comfort level. My goal is to provide a safe, reliable, and low-stress walk while giving owners peace of mind.
About: I have loved and worked with animals for over 10 years and am passionate about helping animals find safe, loving homes. As a foster parent with the Kingston Humane Society, I have helped care for and place many cats into their forever homes. I have experience working with cats with specific medical and behavioural needs, including overweight cats, senior cats, and cats recovering from dental procedures and surgeries. I have also worked with local humane societies to help raise funds for spay and neuter programs and have worked to support adoption efforts within the community! I have all a cat would need at my place! All you need to do is bring your kitty. Feel free to message me if you have any questions at all. I work from home, so I’m able to give your pet plenty of attention, companionship, or quiet alone time depending on their needs and personality. I always try to make pets feel as safe and comfortable as possible. With cats especially, I usually let them come to me first instead of forcing interaction since every cat is different. If they want attention and cuddles, I’m happy to give them lots of love, but if they’d rather have their own space, that’s totally okay too. I try to stick to their normal routine as much as possible and make sure they have a calm, clean, and low-stress environment. Through fostering, I’ve worked with a lot of shy, senior, and special-needs cats, so I’ve learned how important patience and trust are when caring for animals.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, including owning 5 of my own. I’ve also worked in two doggy daycares, where I gained experience supervising play and managing different temperaments. I’m Fear Free certified, so I’m able to recognize and respond to signs of fear, anxiety, and stress. I’m most comfortable with small to medium dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, as I already work part-time in a doggy daycare and care for multiple dogs of my own. I’m experienced in walks, feeding, playtime, and supervision. I provide pet care exclusively in clients’ homes. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs your pet may have. I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency, making sure your pet feels secure and happy while you’re away. I also monitor their behavior and well-being, and will update you with notes or photos so you always know how they’re doing.

I am experienced at caring for sick animals and administering medications. I also volunteered at the humane society walking dogs and playing with them. As well I volunteered at the cat adoption at pets smart From changing kitty litter playing and giving love. I am recently retired and have alot of time available to pet sit. Currently I have Monday to Sunday available. From 9am to 6 pm. I can accommodate. Iam available to care for any pets in their home. What ever is needed for care such as feeding, walking. And of course lots of cuddles and playing and making sure they are safe
About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was a young child. Growing up in an environment full of animals has taught me great responsibility and the importance of following owner instructions and ensuring animal safety. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd and three cats until their old age. Then I grew up with a Bernese Mountain Dog, three more cats, and a German Shepherd. Cash, our German Shepherd, is 11 years old and thriving, and he lives a privileged life with his sister, a calico cat named Krissy, who is 16. As someone who leaves detailed instructions on how to care for Cash and Krissy, I understand and respect the rules that owners have for their fur babies, as they are not suggestions but rules to keep their pets safe. And I intend to do just that, while making sure they are happy. I am a student in Kingston near Portsmouth Village and available most mornings, evenings, and on weekends when I do not have classes (excluding Thursdays). In Client Home: I follow the pet's existing schedule, including walks and feeding. I make sure that all hazards are removed and appropriate doors are locked/closed to ensure the pet is safe. I also make sure that the environment is clean, including litter boxes and waste bags, for the pet's safety and to respect the owner's home.
“Luke is the dog whisperer. He is so great with our two dogs Monty and Loki. With the dogs having different needs, Luke quickly understood them and made the accommodations to make sure both dogs were comfortable and happy. Thanks Luke, you’re awesome!”
About: Hello! I'm Thalia, and I live in downtown Kingston neighbourhood close to many parks. I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule. I grew up with and cared for a Wheaton Terrier for 14 years, and have been a dog lover my whole life. With such a flexible work schedule, I have a lot of free time that I'd love to spend hanging with a doggo! I am comfortable with dogs of all ages. I can give outdoor breaks whenever needed, and at least a 30-60 minute walk each day. I'm happy to follow special care instructions and can help with medication if needed. I will make sure that your dog has a very fun, safe and comfortable time with lots of love and attention! As I work from home full time, I am very flexible and can include pet care into my daily routine to fit the needs of your pets 😊 I live close to many parks for lots of outdoor play time, and in a safe neighbourhood for long walks. I do not yet have a dog of my own, so can devote all my attention to taking care of yours!
About: I love cuddles and spending time with the dogs in my company. When looking after friend's dogs, I have helped with training good behaviour on walks, and I'm happy to enforce the norms and rules your dog is used to. I have the benefit of having a flexible day so I can pay attention to your pet when they need it. My home is fairly low energy and I hope to provide a calm and loving refuge for your pet while you are away. Unfortunately I do not board cats to keep my home allergy friendly, but I will happily take care of and give love and affection to cats on drop in visits. :) I owned a free roam rabbit for 3 years, and I have a thorough understanding of their unique needs and body language. I also love taking videos to send along for your reassurance. Let's have a conversation so I can be the best sitter for your needs! I'm a freelance artist who is currently home the majority of the time! I can happily plan my days around your pet's schedule and needs, and I love the ability to fit more walks in my day and get outside. Boarding: I do not own any other pets, and I do not currently allow sitting pets from multiple homes at once. For boarding - your dog will for the most part have free roam of my apartment, and good potty training is expected. I would not recommend very plant-curious dogs to board at my home. Coming to your home: I always maintain a base line of respect and privacy when coming to your home. My focus is your pet and their well-being and nothing else. I ensure to abide by your norms such as removing shoes, and keeping away from private areas of your home unless required. I can check on other things in your home to ensure there's no upturned trash, water leaks, or other issues while you're away. If there are any messes in your home, I am more than happy to take care of them with your direction and using your cleaning products.
About: Hi there! I’m Sherry — the human behind the treats and belly rubs! 🐶✨ I’ve been around dogs my whole life and helped my mom run a dog rescue, so I’m very comfortable with pups of all personalities, from the goofy jumpers to the shy snuggle-seekers. I love getting to know what makes each pet unique — their favorite toys, the best ear-scratch spots, and the silly habits that make them them. While I love to have fun, I always take your pet’s safety and well-being seriously. I’m reliable, patient, and happy to follow routines, training rules, and any special care instructions. Whether your pet wants to go on a big sniff-adventure or just hang out and get some love, I’m here to make sure they’re happy, safe, and excited to see me again! Can’t wait to meet your furry family member! 🐾 I’m currently available most afternoons and evenings, with a flexible schedule to match your pet’s routine. I do have my own dog Peach to take care of but her schedule is flexible and my husband works from home, so you can count on me to give your pets my full attention and lots of love! 🐾✨ In your home, I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and safe. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and outdoor breaks as needed. I’m happy to help with feeding, fresh water, medication (if required), crate time, and any training rules you’d like me to continue. I always keep a close eye on pets and make sure they’re secure indoors and outside. For walks, I focus on a safe and fun experience — letting your dog explore and sniff while keeping good control and watching for other dogs or distractions. I tailor the walk to each pet’s energy level and comfort. My goal is always to make pets feel loved and relaxed while giving you peace of mind that they’re well cared for. 🐾💛

Myriam is a very reliable, punctual, kind and caring person who loves our pups and ensures they get some valuable time outside for a break and exercise while we work long hours away from home. We love and appreciate having her help us help our dogs who we care deeply for and it is nice to have someone who feels the same. Thank you Myriam! We look forward to continuing scheduled walks for our dogs with your support!

Sofia is absolutely amazing!!! Such a kind and wonderful girl. I broke my foot and my partner needed to be away for work, therefore I could not take our dog Aura out for her walks. Sofia was extremely punctual for Aura’s walks and very lovely to talk to, plus accommodating of different schedule times of my partner not being home on different days. Aura would wait at our door for her Sofia walks.

Jordan came to walk my Clara for the first time. She was friendly, punctual and I felt that my pup was in very competent and caring hands. I’m looking forward to having Jordan back again. Clara happily trotted off with Jordan which told me all I needed to know.

Both my pets and I love Mary. My pup is getting older and Mary was more than comfortable carrying her up the stairs during her visit and had zero hesitation with the other animals in my home. She was very responsive and sends the cutest photos of her time caring for my pets. From my little zoo, we thank you again!💗 🐶🐱🐰

Sam took great care of Violet! She was incredibly patient and adapted her care to suit Violet’s needs. It’s clear from the way she interacted with her that Sam truly loves dogs. I felt confident leaving Violet in her hands and would absolutely recommend her to others.
