About: I spent 8 years caring for a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with big personalities (and even bigger dogs). I currently take care of a 2-year-old cat, which means I’m well-versed in earning trust, respecting boundaries, and providing attention on their terms. I am currently working part-time so I have all the extra time to take care of your loved ones! Plus having a car so extra flexible! I make sure pets always have access to fresh water, a safe environment, and plenty of attention. I’m also respectful of the home, keeping things clean and secure. Whether it’s a walk or a visit, I focus on creating a calm, reliable experience so both pets and owners feel completely at ease.

About: My partner and I have had lots of past experience with taking care of dogs! We have both had labrador retrievers, shepherds, Alaskan Malamute, border collies etc. We currently have a seven month old labrador/husky that we rescued when she was 9 weeks old. She is currently training to be a service dog but still has some puppy brain and enjoys playing with other dogs!! We have trained her in many domains and she currently knows: sit, stay, down, back up, waiting at doors, paw, high five, spin, around, crate, support, hug, off, leave it, and are working on much more. We would be happy to help train your puppy/dog if you are currently working on anything! My partner and I currently work full time and our pup usually stays in her crate for 7 hours. However, we are free most weekends are able to care for your puppy’s. Our schedule during the week would be potty breaks every 4-8 hours while on the weekends it would be every 0-2 hours. During the work week we are happy to walk your dogs after 5pm :) We have a partially fenced yard and our dog goes on a long tie to ensure she stays safe! She is crate and house trained and usually stays in her crate throughout our work days to ensure she is safe as she still likes to chew on wires! Our puppy and your dogs safety is our number 1 priority :)

Before each walk, I confirm the dog’s routine, leash or harness setup, energy level, triggers, and any special instructions. I also apply what I learned from Fear Free shelter and boarding/daycare training by paying close attention to body language, fear-anxiety-stress signals, arousal level, thresholds, and environmental triggers. I check that equipment is secure, choose safe routes, avoid unnecessary dog to dog interactions, and adjust the pace to the dog’s comfort level. My goal is to provide a safe, reliable, and low-stress walk while giving owners peace of mind.

About: I have loved and worked with animals for over 10 years and am passionate about helping animals find safe, loving homes. As a foster parent with the Kingston Humane Society, I have helped care for and place many cats into their forever homes. I have experience working with cats with specific medical and behavioural needs, including overweight cats, senior cats, and cats recovering from dental procedures and surgeries. I have also worked with local humane societies to help raise funds for spay and neuter programs and have worked to support adoption efforts within the community! I have all a cat would need at my place! All you need to do is bring your kitty. Feel free to message me if you have any questions at all. I work from home, so I’m able to give your pet plenty of attention, companionship, or quiet alone time depending on their needs and personality. I always try to make pets feel as safe and comfortable as possible. With cats especially, I usually let them come to me first instead of forcing interaction since every cat is different. If they want attention and cuddles, I’m happy to give them lots of love, but if they’d rather have their own space, that’s totally okay too. I try to stick to their normal routine as much as possible and make sure they have a calm, clean, and low-stress environment. Through fostering, I’ve worked with a lot of shy, senior, and special-needs cats, so I’ve learned how important patience and trust are when caring for animals.

About: I have had the joy of loving cats and dogs of my own throughout my life. I assisted my cat Randi with the birth of 2 litters. We adopted my dog Quinn as a new born puppy and cared for him until his Senior years when he went blind and sadly passed away. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was a young child. Growing up in an environment full of animals has taught me great responsibility and the importance of following owner instructions and ensuring animal safety. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd and three cats until their old age. Then I grew up with a Bernese Mountain Dog, three more cats, and a German Shepherd. Cash, our German Shepherd, is 11 years old and thriving, and he lives a privileged life with his sister, a calico cat named Krissy, who is 16. As someone who leaves detailed instructions on how to care for Cash and Krissy, I understand and respect the rules that owners have for their fur babies, as they are not suggestions but rules to keep their pets safe. And I intend to do just that, while making sure they are happy. I am a student in Kingston near Portsmouth Village and available most mornings, evenings, and on weekends when I do not have classes (excluding Thursdays). In Client Home: I follow the pet's existing schedule, including walks and feeding. I make sure that all hazards are removed and appropriate doors are locked/closed to ensure the pet is safe. I also make sure that the environment is clean, including litter boxes and waste bags, for the pet's safety and to respect the owner's home.

About: Hello! I'm Thalia, and I live in downtown Kingston neighbourhood close to many parks. I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule. I grew up with and cared for a Wheaton Terrier for 14 years, and have been a dog lover my whole life. With such a flexible work schedule, I have a lot of free time that I'd love to spend hanging with a doggo! I am comfortable with dogs of all ages. I can give outdoor breaks whenever needed, and at least a 30-60 minute walk each day. I'm happy to follow special care instructions and can help with medication if needed. I will make sure that your dog has a very fun, safe and comfortable time with lots of love and attention! As I work from home full time, I am very flexible and can include pet care into my daily routine to fit the needs of your pets 😊 I live close to many parks for lots of outdoor play time, and in a safe neighbourhood for long walks. I do not yet have a dog of my own, so can devote all my attention to taking care of yours!

Boarding: I do not own any other pets, and I do not currently allow sitting pets from multiple homes at once. For boarding - your dog will for the most part have free roam of my apartment, and good potty training is expected. I would not recommend very plant-curious dogs to board at my home. Coming to your home: I always maintain a base line of respect and privacy when coming to your home. My focus is your pet and their well-being and nothing else. I ensure to abide by your norms such as removing shoes, and keeping away from private areas of your home unless required. I can check on other things in your home to ensure there's no upturned trash, water leaks, or other issues while you're away. If there are any messes in your home, I am more than happy to take care of them with your direction and using your cleaning products.
