“Julie is awesome. For the last nine days she picked up Sherlock for amazing sniffs while we were on vacation. She varied his route. He looked so happy. Thank you Julie for an amazing job.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Maria has been amazing with my puppy, Ashe! She’s reliable, caring, and goes the extra mile—literally driving from Napanee to Tweed. I love the notes, photos, and videos she sends, and Ashe is always happy after her visits. She even worked with Rover to adjust rates for the distance, which showed real dedication. Highly recommend!”

About: Retired RVT with 20+ years of personal pet experience, including larger breed reactive dogs, and medically complex animals. My favorite pets to care for are the ones who take a little longer to come around and show their love! I work full time within Kingston, with a reliable vehicle to ensure local visits or visits outside town are timely and your pets are happy while you're away! I strive to spend at least an hour with all house calls, ensuring that your pet or pets feel comfortable and loved while you are away.
About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since the age of 2. I have been a reliable sitter/walker for my neighbors and friends within my area. I am currently a student in the Napanee area with an open schedule - I am available to help with your pets needs throughout the week As of right now I have two furry friends. I have a 2 year old tabby named Oliver and a 1.5 year old tabby named Oreo. When I was caring for my dog prior to only having a cat. I would bring her to open areas to play fetch and take her for a minimum of 3 walks a day.
About: I grew up in a household that always had a family dog and I now have a dog of my own. My last family dog lived to 16 so am familiar with a senior dog lifestyle. In comparison my current dog Nova (4.5 yrs) I have raised alone from a puppy. She is a collie lab mix with lots of energy! I work from home and have a very flexible job that allows me to take a hour lunch break to go for a long walk with my dog. I have an acre and a half of land. About one acre has a inground electric fence that I have trained my dog on. If I have guest dogs I suggest a long lead if they are a flight risk or I have a spare collar for dog parents that agree to training with the fence ( I have flags and the collar beeps in warning to the perimeter). I give lots of affection throughout the day to pets and if I have a snack usually means my furry friend will as well.

I am available in Battersea, Bath and Kingston! I am super open to helping you and your little critters from those areas and surrounding as well. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs to help them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and household rules. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has cared for my own dogs and cats for many years, while also fostering numerous animals with a wide range of personalities and care needs. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets like family. I have experience supporting medically fragile pets, including administering insulin, inhalers, oral medications, and providing care for senior or incontinent animals. Whether your pet needs extra medical support, a calm environment, or simply lots of affection and attention, I’m committed to maintaining their routine and comfort every step of the way. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind. I'm very lucky to work remotely and can set up a workspace anywhere there's an internet connection. He absolutely loves everyone he meets but is also good at giving space to those who need it. He's great at reading social queues from other pups and cats. I live on a quiet country road that makes for great walks. I tend to let our dog on our furniture but are fine to keep to your rules for furniture. In your home, I'll follow your set routine for your pets.
“Juno started whimpering when he saw Thomas arrive for his walk. On a cold, windy, rainy day - Juno had no other hope for exercise. He gives 4 stars. He said he’d give 5 but Thomas didn’t have steak in his pocket.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Skatepark choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
