“Ricci was great with my dog Macduff. She was kind enough to text me as to how he was doing while I was away. Macduff was extremely happy with his stay. I couldn't recommend her more highly!”

“Anna was great! She was very responsive and followed all of our instructions. On top of that she sent us lots of photos throughout the day, so we were sure our puppy was having a good time. Korra came back to us happy and healthy :) we’d be happy to leave her with Anna again in the future, and we can easily recommend Anna as a dog sitter in Kingston!”

“Holly was professional and caring. Our one pouch requires medication on time, Holly met the needs of him. It was fun to have a pic of the dogs while we were away. Holly genuinely enjoyed caring for our furry beasts. Pick up was organized and our dogs seemed so content and calm. Thank you Holly and family?”

About: Hey there! I’m Deanna — animal lover, treat‑giver, walk‑enthusiast, and certified “yes I talk to pets like they’re tiny hairy humans” person. 😄 I’ve had animals my whole life and have looked after pets with all sorts of medical needs. Giving meds? No problem. Special routines? I’m on it. Noticing when your pet is acting a little off? It’s basically my superpower. I’ve raised two puppies from 9 weeks old, so I know all about zoomies, chaos, snuggles, and the “why are you chewing that??” moments. I also adore senior pets — slow walks, soft voices, and gentle care are my jam. I’m pretty active, so if your dog wants adventures, I’m ready. If they prefer couch hangs and snacks… honestly, same. I work part‑time, which means I’ve got flexible availability on weekdays + weekends. I’m also open to overnight stays and weekend pet‑sitting if you need a little getaway. At home I’ve got two cats who are very chill with dogs as long as the dogs aren’t plotting to chase them. For everyone’s safety, I do ask that visiting pets are up to date on flea and tick prevention — gotta keep my furry roommates itch‑free. Your pet will be loved, spoiled, and treated like family. Can’t wait to meet your furry sidekick! 🐶🐱💛 I am currently working part time and have open hours to support your pet(s) weekdays and weekends. I am open to over night stays and weekend work. I have 2 cats who are okay with dogs as long as they don't have a prey drive and chase. I would require the pets coming in to have updated flea and tick to protect my babies.
“Brigit and Robert were absolutely fabulous!! We highly recommend them to anyone who wants their fur family member very well taken care of. Lucy, our husky mix rescue, definitely loved her stay with them. We knew she was in great hands and having an awesome time too because of the updates with photos that they sent us during Lucy's stay. We will for sure book Brigit and Robert again. Thank you so much!!!”

“Kobi got some much-needed play time and I love that I know he'll be safe with Nelaida and Katie. Pick up and drop off work quick and easy love receiving pictures and updates on what he's doing and how he is. TYSM❤️”

“Dhanesha was just so rad with Tony! Not only did she keep me in the loop by sending lots of pictures, but she was also super engaging with Tony during his visit and he came back absolutely zonked. She paid attention to his specific needs and commands, and I could tell she showered him with love because he would have been happy to stay! Thank you for your great care :)”

“Leah, James and their fur baby Wally were great hosts! I received photos during Porters stay and he looked relaxed and happy! Thank you again for extending your home (and sharing your bed!) with my boy! 💙”

“As always our 16 year old pup was well taken care of and happy when we picked her up. We so appreciate Gabrielle’s calm and thoughtful way of managing all the dogs that come into her house.”

“Indy was well looked after at Kristiina’s home. She was in very good spirits when I picked her up. Kristiina adapted (enjoyed!) to her little quirks easing any stress that Indy might have had with her first stay. I will not hesitate to leave Indy in her care in the future.”

“Tammy is amazing and the best dog sitter I could have found for my dog. Any time we go, we know that our dog will receive all necessary care and love at Tammy’s house. She keeps him happy and makes sure his needs are met and he is having good time. I highly recommend Tammy, she knows how to get your dog feel happy and welcome!”

“My dog, Penny, had a great time at Heather's. She was walked every day, feed her food and treats, as well as being cuddled and loved, even in the middle of the night. I appreciated the daily text message updates and photos. I will happily entrust Penny to Heather's care in the future.”

“Charlee and Max stayed with Arshpreet and her family for 2 days, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We received regular updates throughout their stay, including photos, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear our dogs were in good, trustworthy care. Highly recommend & will certainly book again.”

“Paige and Vanessa were punctual and organized when meeting Jose and Rosa. They kept me updated with pictures and the dogs´daily activities while I was away. When I picked the dogs up, I could tell that they were happy with Paige and Vanessa. I would definitely book them again.”

“Deanna & Scott did a great job caring for my dog while I was away for 10 days. They sent me lots of pictures and were always easy to talk to. I had no worries while I was away which made my trip much more enjoyable.”

“Julie was very patient and accepting of the detailed instructions we left for her drop in visits with our 6 cats (literally a binder), and she embraced the chaos that 6 cats come with. We had a meet and greet first before scheduling drop in visits and even our most shy boy graced her with his presence and our youngest was happy to roll over for belly rubs, speaking to Julie’s calm approach an patience. She sent several photos and gave us daily updates as well which provided us with great peace of mind. We will definitely be booking again for our next trip away. Thanks Julie!”

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since the age of 2. I have been a reliable sitter/walker for my neighbors and friends within my area. I am currently a student in the Napanee area with an open schedule - I am available to help with your pets needs throughout the week As of right now I have two furry friends. “Abby looked after Cosmo and Mars for 11 days, and we couldn't be happier! She was incredibly responsive and gave great updates (including many adorable photos!). Our boys were well fed, cuddled, and looked after. She cared for them as if they were her own cats, and that's really all we could ask for. Thank you so much Abby! Mars and Cosmo are looking forward to our next vacation! :)”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong cat lover with years of experience caring for my own cats and fostering many others, including shy, senior, and medically fragile cats. I understand that every cat has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I take a calm, patient approach to helping them feel safe and secure while you’re away. I’m experienced with administering medications and caring for cats with more complex medical needs, including insulin, inhalers, oral medications, and support for senior or incontinent cats. I pay close attention to behaviour, appetite, litter habits, and overall comfort to make sure your cat receives attentive, compassionate care. My priority is creating a low-stress environment where your cat can relax, stay comfortable, and receive plenty of affection, always at their own pace. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your cat is in caring hands.

About: I’ve had both cats and dogs my entire life and have always loved being around animals. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve regularly looked after pets for friends and family, including feeding, walking, playing, and providing lots of attention and care. I’m currently finishing my summer semester of school, I’m hoping to get a remote job so I can work from anywhere while taking care of your pets! As of now I have wide open availability! I am available in Battersea, Bath and Kingston! I am super open to helping you and your little critters from those areas and surrounding as well. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs to help them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and household rules. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while maintaining a safe environment. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so I’m committed to being reliable, attentive, and communicative. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.
“Myriam did an excellent job on all levels with the feeding, litter cleaning, entertaining Polly and especially keeping me posted both with pics and messages so I was always confident and happy that all was well. Myriam was also very professional in her approach to the assignment making sure visits were timely, and really went all out to leave things clean and tidy I will highly recommend Myriam to others an my own future use. Thanks Myriam”

“Jess offered us tremendous peace of mind during eight days away from home. She immediately bonded with our cats and we could tell from their expectations of us when we got home that she gave them oodles of play and attention. Jess was extremely communicative and helped us keep in touch with our three kitties on a daily basis.”

“Thomas did an great job with our cat Rosie. I really felt like she was loved while there. The house itself was also spacious so she had lots of space to roam. Rosie has medical issues and so needs meds at very specific times of day and Thomas made sure to let us know that she got them. I would definitely have him cat-sit for is again 😊”

“Would absolutely book again. Kayleigh was very informative about our cats - their behaviour, habits, energy levels, etc. - through descriptions and pictures, which gave us a lot of comfort being away from them for so long.”

About: I'm an experienced and hard-working sitter in the Kingston area, offering peace of mind that your home and little ones are well taken care of in your absence. I have lived with animals my entire life. Naturally, I understand you're seeking the best possible care for your little ones, and that's exactly what I strive to provide. I've been a Pawshake sitter since February 2019 and have been loving every moment of making so many new four-legged friends! About my services: HOME VISITS consist of one afternoon or evening visit that lasts up to 45 minutes, depending on your pet's needs. During this visit, I would feed your pet(s), refresh their water dish, play & socialize with them, clean their litter box, and so on. I'm also happy to water your plants, bring your mail inside and take out garbage/recycling when needed. HOME BOARDING at my spacious, ground-level apartment means that your cat or dog would stay with me and my pets for overnights over an extended period of time. You can rest assured that your feline friends will get tons of pats and cuddles, and that dogs will be walked twice a day with plenty of opportunities to run around the yard in between. All you need to bring is their food, treats, and leash! I also offer HOUSE SITTING. The house sitting option means Birdie, Bowie and I would stay at your residence round the clock, provided I don’t have any bookings for home boarding at the requested time. This service would be ideal for households with both cats and dogs, or for animals who have a harder time adjusting to new environments. My apartment is puppy-proofed, equipped with puppy pads if needed, two litter boxes (scooped daily), and lots of toys, beds, and treats for cats and dogs alike. It's clean and spacious, with big windows for bird-watching. I have a very large, fenced-in yard for tons of extra play time, rain or shine. I have installed pet gates with built-in cat doors throughout the apartment, so cats and small dogs can have their privacy away from the larger guests when I am unable to supervise. About my pets: I have two pets of my own: An easygoing, playful, and extremely dog-savvy black cat named Gigi Luigi (4 years, male, neutered) who loves making new kitty friends, and a flat coat retriever/labradoodle named Bowie (3 years, female, spayed). Both would relish the extra company and have been socialized to respect animals of all shapes and sizes. Both are also up to date on their vaccines. I think that covers it! Thanks for giving my page a gander. I hope to meet you and your little ones soon! ☺️ I do work full-time as a community mental health nurse, but working in the community means I can drop by my home for short visits as many times per day as needed, and spend my lunch break at home every day as well. I take Bowie for 1-2 off leash adventures every day, whether or not I am working. I have a large, fenced yard and a friendly pup of my own to keep yours occupied, and would be taking them on and off leash adventure at least once a day, regardless of whether I work. I also have the flexibility to pop into my home throughout the day on days I do work, so the pups get frequent potty breaks and are never left alone for long stretches.

“Leah was a wonderful pet sitter for Maple! She and her husband were very accommodating and attentive, making Maple's stay comfortable and fun! We were met outside with big smiles at a very early hour in the morning and our dog was happy and tired at the end of her stay with them. Thank you so much to you both!”

“Ricci has been great with Tony. She's taken care of him a few times now, and he comes back nice and pooped – the sign of a good stay! She has been sensitive to Tony's needs and my training methods, and he's been happy to go back each time.”

“We are so grateful to have had Lisa take care of our puppy at times when our work schedules caused some chaos. She let our girl run and play with her dogs in her large fenced yard. Her dogs are incredibly patient with our high energy puppy. We trust Lisa completely with our puppy!”

About: I grew up in a household that always had a family dog and I now have a dog of my own. My last family dog lived to 16 so am familiar with a senior dog lifestyle. In comparison my current dog Nova (4.5 yrs) I have raised alone from a puppy. She is a collie lab mix with lots of energy! I work from home and have a very flexible job that allows me to take a hour lunch break to go for a long walk with my dog. I have an acre and a half of land. About one acre has a inground electric fence that I have trained my dog on. If I have guest dogs I suggest a long lead if they are a flight risk or I have a spare collar for dog parents that agree to training with the fence ( I have flags and the collar beeps in warning to the perimeter). I give lots of affection throughout the day to pets and if I have a snack usually means my furry friend will as well.
“Anna and Aleksei are wonderful ! My little Biewer Terrier Charlotte is an anxious dog but she has settled in well and literally runs down the hallway excited to see them . Good updates are provided with details of the stay . This doggy daycare arrangement provides me with peace of mind that Charlotte is well cared for and happy .”

“Deanna and Scott were great! They were very flexible and provided several updates through out the day. I felt very comfortable dropping Frankie off with them and he was exhausted from playing when I picked him up. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Paige and Vanessa took great care of my dog! They communicated often and updates were much appreciated. My dog was very content and happy which is awesome because he has some separation anxiety and I was worried about leaving him.”

“Great experience with Gabrielle. Easy drop-off and pickup. Chewie was happy and content each day. Gabrielle kept us notified each day of how he was doing including pictures. We were very pleased with his overall care and will definitely book with Gabrielle in the future when needed.”

About: We have a quiet, orderly home with regular routines. Our last dog lived to be 16 years old and needed quite intensive care in the last year. We live in a quiet neighbourhood and are happy to take your pet to the dog park nearby or the Lemoine Point walking trail. I have few daily commitments outside of the home and am seldom gone for more than an hour or two. An anxious or timid dog would do well in my care. I believe in plenty of walks and playtime with favourite toys. I’m also happy to let them cuddle with me as much as they want.
“Our dogs were with Heather for the day, they came home happy and tired. They had an amazing day. We would definitely have our dogs stay with Heather again. She gave us updates ( photos and videos) and her sweet dog Elphie was a great playmate. Thank you thank you Heather for welcoming and taking care of Archie and Delilah.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. I also fostered a court-rescue dog through the SPCA for over a year, giving me valuable experience with anxious and nervous pets. I’m experienced with rescue dogs, puppies, senior pets, and multi-pet households. I have a calm, pet-friendly cat at home and a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play. Since I work from home, pets in my care receive plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and a consistent routine. Friends and neighbours regularly trust me with their pets because I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love what I do. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority. 🐾❤️ I work from home, so your pet will enjoy plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for boarding, dog walks, and drop-in visits. In my home, your dog will enjoy a secure environment with a fully fenced grass yard for safe outdoor play and fresh air. Since I have a resident cat who is very laid back, I primarily welcome guest dogs who are already comfortable and friendly with feline companions. Because I am currently based at home, I can offer constant supervision and a consistent routine that mirrors your pet's life at home. Whether I am boarding a dog or visiting a cat for a drop-in, I focus on personalized care, ensuring they are well-exercised, fed on schedule, and given plenty of attention. My background with rescue animals means I am highly observant of body language, so I’m always making sure every pet feels relaxed and at ease, whether we’re relaxing in the garden or out for a walk.

“Tammy was fantastic with Otis. She kept us constantly updated with photos and great communication throughout the day. He came home happy and tired from all their play in the backyard. I will definitely use Tammy again in the future!”

“Daniel was so great watching my little guy Harvey! He really took the time to learn about Harvey’s walk schedule, what some of his favourite games are and you could tell he just really loves dogs!”

“Pamesha was so great with Zoey! She communicated with me throughout the process and was very flexible when I was delayed in getting back for pick up. She sent lots of photos of Zoey’s day with her. It looks like Zoey had a lot of fun!”

About: It all started with rabbits when I was a 4 year old. My dad bred them and we had well over 60 at one point. I had a pair of baby ducks when I was 8 years old. Then along came my budgie when I was 10. I have a lifelong experience of caring for many different types of pets. In the past I have had rabbits, ducks, a budgie, cockatiels, finches, rats, and aquariums. I took riding lessons as a teen and worked on the horse farm to pay for my lessons. I also have experience with exotic animals as I worked for a short time in a zoo. I have owned 5 dogs. A Husky (who lived to 15), an Australian Shepherd (who passed at age 12 from cancer), a sports mix - Border Collie/Staff/Russel (who passed at 14.5 from CHF), another Australian Shepherd (who passed at 11 from cancer), and I currently have a male Australian Shepherd. I work part time throughout the winter and have a tourism business during the summer. My work schedule is generally 4-6 hour days with a few off during the week. Your pet's care would fit in with my own pet's care. My dog is young and energetic and loves to play with other dogs. We hike most days in the woods surrounding the house. I have a pup who loves other dogs (he would have to come with me for overnight visits). He is playful and affectionate. I have 20 acres of woods to walk in (plus access to my neighbour's trails) and live on a small lake if your dog enjoys swimming. I am very knowledgeable in the care and training of animals, especially dogs and will be taking a first aide course when one comes available. I am very diligent about keeping dogs away from the road and they are always on a leash or longline.
“I booked Rose for my dog Luna and the experience overall was smooth and easy. Communication was friendly, scheduling was simple, and I appreciated the updates during the day. Luna came home happy and tired, which is always a good sign! Thank you for taking good care of her.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Maria has been amazing with my puppy, Ashe! She’s reliable, caring, and goes the extra mile—literally driving from Napanee to Tweed. I love the notes, photos, and videos she sends, and Ashe is always happy after her visits. She even worked with Rover to adjust rates for the distance, which showed real dedication. My schedule is flexible, so I can adjust visits and walks to fit your pet’s needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and comfortable. I carefully follow all instructions and give plenty of love and patience (especially to anxious or shy pets) while always respecting your home so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I am Pet First Aid certified and certified through Fear Free’s Shelter Program and Boarding & Daycare Program, which trained me to recognize fear, anxiety, stress signals, arousal levels, body language, and environmental triggers. I grew up in a dog friendly family and spent 12 years caring for my family dog, including her current senior stage care. My Life Sciences and Biomedical Science background also makes me detail-oriented and observant with changes in behaviour, comfort, and well-being. During walks, I focus on secure handling, safe routes, calm interactions, and adapting the walk to each dog’s temperament, age, and energy level. My goal is to provide reliable, low-stress dog walking that owners can trust. I am currently in my summer break (May-Sept). while writing up my research paper draft, I will be flexible with my schedule 7 days a week 6:00am-10:00pm for dog walking. I have full G license with my own vehicle. For dog walking, I focus on safety, consistency, and calm handling. Before each walk, I confirm the dog’s routine, leash or harness setup, energy level, triggers, and any special instructions. I also apply what I learned from Fear Free shelter and boarding/daycare training by paying close attention to body language, fear-anxiety-stress signals, arousal level, thresholds, and environmental triggers. I check that equipment is secure, choose safe routes, avoid unnecessary dog to dog interactions, and adjust the pace to the dog’s comfort level. My goal is to provide a safe, reliable, and low-stress walk while giving owners peace of mind.
About: I’ve loved animals my whole life, growing up with a dog and living in a household with multiple dogs. I enjoy staying active and often go on runs with my neighbour’s dog, making walks fun and engaging. I also have experience traveling with my cat, including airplane trips, so I’m comfortable handling pets in a variety of situations. I’m experienced caring for dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies and seniors, and I’m comfortable administering medication and following special dietary needs. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, tailoring my care to their personality and needs to make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available for morning, lunchtime, or evening walks most days, except Wednesdays and Sundays. I’m also available for boarding most weekends, though advance booking is required. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment for every pet. While I do not allow pets in my own home, I am happy to care for them in their familiar environment. I am comfortable crating pets when needed, following your instructions for feeding, playtime, and routines to ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I also provide plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, so your pet feels happy and secure while in my care.

We will for sure book Brigit and Robert again. Thank you so much!!!”

About: I grew up with a small family dog as a young child in our family home, and took the leap into adulthood and dog ownership on my own! Porter is a 5.5 year old male neutered bernedoodle. He's super spoiled and rules the house :-) He loves having a playmate around so we thought we'd check out the Rover scene! We have experience looking after our neighbours dogs (Golden retrievers and a yellow lab). I have used Rover as a pet parent for help during vacations, etc. I know how hard it is to find someone trustworthy that will follow instructions. We go on 4 walks a day - sometimes more with yard play thrown in. I work from home and have a flexible schedule to allow all the dog care! I'm familiar with medicating dogs, including allergy injections so I can assist with care like that if required. I'm guilty of taking so many pictures of my dog, especially when he has friends visit so please be comforted knowing you will get lots of updates! We live on a lake so if your dog loves to swim and loves pontoon boat rides, they will have one heck of a vacation :-) If you have multi dog family - I'm happy to host them all! Please - no cats. I currently work from home and have lots of time with my flexible schedule to accommodate walks, playtime, enrichment, etc. Porter can adjust to anyone else's schedule to make it easier, or we can do solo walks if that would be your preference. I do not have a fenced yard, but we go on leashed walked at least 4x a day - plus more playtime. Porter is allowed on furniture, so your dog is as well! There are no separate rooms for dogs in my house. He used to be crate trained and so i am familiar with it and can crate your dog if you require it.
