About: I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Prince Edward County, moved away to Alberta for 17 years after completing my agricultural diploma. I’ve been caring for animals since I was in diapers and have extensive knowledge of all sorts of animals! I have now returned to the family farm and am offering up my pet services! I have experience with all ages of animals. I’ve been breeding Olde Boston Bulldogs for 15 years now so am no stranger to puppies! I even offer livestock sitting! Horses, cows, dogs, cats, chickens, goats you name it ! I myself have a wide range of critters who call the funny farm home. So I’m constantly coming n going looking after my crew and working on a dairy. We have a lovely lane way that we go walking down, the millennial Trail runs through our property too! As well as we have lake front access for swimming! Lots of activities here! We are an active crew. I have dogs and cats here of my own. Along with my horses and cows! My crew is use to meeting new friends on the regular, as we have many friends with pets and spent years offering our funny farm up for a shared space on Airbnb. However, my crew wouldn’t be attending house visits. My parents also share the property and are super good with my crew and visitors. Someone’s usually around!
About: Having raised my 4-year-old Golden Retriever back home in India and spent years caring for community stray cats, animal care has always been a natural part of my life. That hands on experience taught me deep patience, how to read subtle body language, and how to earn an animal's trust, whether it's an energetic dog or a shy cat. Today, as a devoted parent to my own Maltipoo puppy, Nomi, and kitten, Smokey, my daily life revolves around gentle routines, play, and attentive care. I apply that same level of devotion to your pets, making sure their feeding schedules, exercise, and comfort are handled with total love, consistency, and daily photo updates so you always have peace of mind. I only work on Wednesday- Friday, which gives me plenty of dedicated time to give your pets the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Because my daily routine already centers around caring for my own pup Nomi and kitten Smokey, pet care seamlessly fits into my day. I’m available for weekday drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting, as well as full weekend care. Whether caring for your pet in your home or mine, safety, comfort, and routine consistency are my top priorities. In my home, pets enjoy a clean, pet-proofed, and welcoming environment where they can socialize safely with Nomi and Smokey or have their own peaceful, designated space to relax. For home visits or house sitting, I strictly respect your household boundaries, maintain secure walking habits with sturdy leashes, and adhere precisely to your feeding and medication routines. You will always receive detailed daily updates and photos so you can rest easy knowing your fur baby is safe, happy, and well cared for.
“Bettine is the only person who my dog, Hazel, will allow to take her for a walk. She trusts her completely and so will your pup. Bettine understands dogs and will make sure your dog gets the best walk and the best care. Highly recommend!”

About: I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and caring for them is truly my passion! I currently have two dogs of my own—a Golden Retriever and a rescue dog—so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members 🐶 I have over four years of hands-on professional experience working with dogs. I spent two years working in a veterinary clinic, where I gained valuable experience caring for animals in a variety of situations. I also worked for two years at a doggy daycare, where my responsibilities included walking, feeding, supervising playtime, and, of course, giving plenty of cuddles 🤗 Growing up, my grandmother bred Wheaten Terriers, so I also have lots of experience caring for puppies and understanding their specific needs ✅ All breeds, sizes, and personalities are welcome—I'm your ulti-mutt dog lover! 🐕 Currently working part-time, but I’m available on some weekdays and weekends for dog walking, house sitting, and drop-in visits! If you need someone to look after your pet(s), feel free to send me a message to sort something out 📆 Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I will care for your pet in the comfort of their own home, following their usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel relaxed and secure. Whether it's feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), or plenty of cuddles, I'll make sure they receive the love and attention they deserve ❤️ I'll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I'll treat your home with the utmost respect and care for your dog as if they were one of my own, ensuring they're always safe, happy, and well looked after 🥰

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Prince Edward choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
