“Nelaida was exceptional. Maggie usually takes a while to take to people, but Nelaida’s calm, loving manner won her over in minutes. I felt totally at ease in leaving my precious pup with her. I definitely would recommend her to anyone with looking for a small dog sitter. Maggie gave her five doggie kisses! Karrin”

“SO insanely thankful for Gabrielle! She's the first person I've let watch my dog's, and I couldn't be happier. She gave me plenty of updates , kept the ladies busy / enriched. And ultimately tired them out for pick up! I cannot thank Gabrielle enough. I highly recommend her. And will be hiring her again to watch my dogs in the future.”

“Amanda and her family were amazing with Maya. She became one of the family from taking piano lessons, enjoying story time and walks with the family. Maya loves children and Amanda has 2 of the sweetest. Her time with them has left her sleeping for a couple of days and a little sad missing them. They gave her all the attention she loves. Amanda kept me updated daily and followed Maya’s daily routine. I was nervous in the beginning leaving Maya with someone new but was immediately calmed by the love shown to her. Thank you Amanda”

About: I grew up taking care of animals, inclusive of dogs, cats and goats. I have an affinity with animals and truly enjoy spending time with them. In particular, dogs mean a great deal to me and because I do not have children, dogs have become the object of my love and care and have given that back to me. I have rescued a great deal of domestic and wild animals (raccoons, opossums and a number of birds). I regularly volunteer at the Quinte Humane Society as well. My most recent sits have included large properties in Prince Edward County and Marysville and surrounding areas, with both small dogs, large dogs and multiple pets. I have also taken care of an 80 acre goat farm in Owen Sound for three weeks, taking care of the house and grounds as well. I can also take care of your plants inside and out, garbage and recycling, and am open to other duties that can be discussed at the time of a meet and greet. I always have a meet and greet at least 2 weeks (whenever possible) before my sit, so you can feel comfortable with me, my two little dogs that come with me, and your pets can feel comfortable too! I am a traveler as well and know how important it is to leave one's pet in exceptional care when one is away. I will not only show love and affection to your pet; but as a teacher I value the safety, care and protection of other people's cherished possessions. I have two years experience dog walking, including rescue dogs, as well. Your dogs will be cared for and loved in your own home or in mine, if that is something you choose. I do have two small, (under 6 pounds) female Morkies who will be in my home or coming with me, so your pet will need to be okay in the company of two well behaved, but fun loving dogs. RATE BREAKDOWN: HOUSE/PET SITTING (in your home): $75/24 HOURS for 1st pet $25/24 HOURS for any additional pet PET BOARDING: $65/24 HOURS for 1st pet $35/24 HOURS for any additional pet PET DAYCARE: $50/8 HOURS (Times are flexible - Mon - Fri Only) I am retired I am very flexible in terms of hours/length of time that I can spend with your pet(s) and in your home. I am home often during the evenings and weekends, working on my latest novel and will, like your pet, need breaks to walk, exercise and play with them. I have had dogs all of my life and as a teacher, I am someone who prepares and proactively thinks about the safety and protection of my pets, and this would be the case with yours as well.
“Claire was amazing with our golden doodle. She took her on lots of walks and fun adventures. Her communication was great and our Dog Harriet was really well taken care of. We highly recommend Claire”

“Emily, her partner and Pippy were super welcoming to Reed last weekend! I got updates twice a day with pictures of Reed looking happy and cozy. They seemed lovely and were very accommodating. Will definitely rebook in the future! Thanks again!”

“Leah, James and their fur baby Wally were great hosts! I received photos during Porters stay and he looked relaxed and happy! Thank you again for extending your home (and sharing your bed!) with my boy! 💙”

“Having our dogs stay home, where they are most comfortable, was something we really wanted to try. We are grateful we connected with Kayleigh as we had a family funeral out of town and were concerned what to do with our fur babies. Kayleigh came to our home and in 2 visits walked our dogs, played with them, fed them and gave them lots of love. We came home to happy dogs and are very grateful for all the photos and care Kayleigh gave them.”

About: Hey there! I’m Deanna — animal lover, treat‑giver, walk‑enthusiast, and certified “yes I talk to pets like they’re tiny hairy humans” person. 😄 I’ve had animals my whole life and have looked after pets with all sorts of medical needs. Giving meds? No problem. Special routines? I’m on it. Noticing when your pet is acting a little off? It’s basically my superpower. I’ve raised two puppies from 9 weeks old, so I know all about zoomies, chaos, snuggles, and the “why are you chewing that??” moments. I also adore senior pets — slow walks, soft voices, and gentle care are my jam. I’m pretty active, so if your dog wants adventures, I’m ready. If they prefer couch hangs and snacks… honestly, same. I work part‑time, which means I’ve got flexible availability on weekdays + weekends. I’m also open to overnight stays and weekend pet‑sitting if you need a little getaway. At home I’ve got two cats who are very chill with dogs as long as the dogs aren’t plotting to chase them. For everyone’s safety, I do ask that visiting pets are up to date on flea and tick prevention — gotta keep my furry roommates itch‑free. Your pet will be loved, spoiled, and treated like family. Can’t wait to meet your furry sidekick! 🐶🐱💛 I am currently working part time and have open hours to support your pet(s) weekdays and weekends. I am open to over night stays and weekend work. I have 2 cats who are okay with dogs as long as they don't have a prey drive and chase. I would require the pets coming in to have updated flea and tick to protect my babies.
“Rachel was great with our dog, Henry! She and her husband are clearly experienced dog owners who knew how to be extremely loving with Henry while also keeping to the boundaries we outlined. They had no concerns about taking in a giant wolfhound whose head is at kitchen counter height. Henry is often anxious when left in a new place for the first time, and Rachel worked with us to get him to feel comfortable--we all hung out together for a while until Henry could tell this was a good place with people we trusted, and flopped down on their couch to bask in their skritches. Their little dog Chip also helped him feel welcome--once he got used to Henry's great size, he was happy to share his couch and his people and even offered to share his frisbee toy. Rachel updated us on how he was doing and sent great photos. We'll be very happy to have Henry stay there again.”

“Aleksandra took great care of Fiona during her weekend stay. She was responsive and flexible with pickup and drop-off times, and I could tell Fiona had been well looked after. Her calm and steady energy created a peaceful environment, which Fiona definitely appreciated. Thank you again for hosting her!”

“I am so happy with Kasi. She would send updates of Roxy's stay and assured me she was doing great. Kasi was great to communicate with as well responded to questions in a timely manner. We will definitely send Roxy back the next time she needs boarding.”

“Charlee and Max stayed with Arshpreet and her family for 2 days, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We received regular updates throughout their stay, including photos, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear our dogs were in good, trustworthy care. Highly recommend & will certainly book again.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has cared for my own dogs and cats for many years, while also fostering numerous animals with a wide range of personalities and care needs. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets like family. I have experience supporting medically fragile pets, including administering insulin, inhalers, oral medications, and providing care for senior or incontinent animals. I’m patient, attentive, and dedicated to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet needs extra medical support, a calm environment, or simply lots of affection and attention, I’m committed to maintaining their routine and comfort every step of the way. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind. I'm very lucky to work remotely and can set up a workspace anywhere there's an internet connection. I have a flexible schedule and can make time for walks or visits anytime. I have a large yard and one big friendly dog. He absolutely loves everyone he meets but is also good at giving space to those who need it. He's great at reading social queues from other pups and cats. I live on a quiet country road that makes for great walks. I tend to let our dog on our furniture but are fine to keep to your rules for furniture. In your home, I'll follow your set routine for your pets.
“Zoe was absolutely fantastic! I was very nervous to leave my 3 furry sons, but she constantly reassured me everything would be fine, and sent me pictures and updates daily. When I saw how much fun my sons were having, I felt much more calm. She set everything up for them in her lovely home, and cared so well for them. I absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a critter sitter.”

About: Hey, Guys! My name is Jess, and have been working with dogs in a professional environment (daycare, on-leash group walks, off-leash park) for the past 8.5 years. I was raised on a farm full of animals and have loved being surrounded by them ever since. I myself have 2 cats, and this is why I will not be able to help out any cat owners out there, but very comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I would prefer to have a meet and greet for any dogs coming into my home. I do live in a large apartment,it does say I can host a single dog, but if they are from the same family/get along well (with a complimentary trial), I will be open to caring for them. I am a 5 minute walk from our beautiful and very large off leash dog park, with an enclosed area, and additional area for our friends that need a bit more attention. I have taken pet first aid, and a course in reactivity, but always learning. That being said, I have taken care of puppies, seniors, special needs, and everything in between. In my last position I administered shots, flee meds, and other medications. I would love to meet you and your furry friend, and available through email or text any time. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, look forward to hearing from you! I am in transition as I just moved back home from Toronto, to Picton. I have full availability, and very capable of meeting your needs to provide the best care. I live with cats, and only take a client at a time, unless further analysis has been done to see compatability. This is for the safety of your pets, and to be leaning on a cautious side.
