“Amanda and family are absolutely wonderful! Our pup Sophie stayed for a week and had an amazing time! She was treated and loved as part of the family. We couldn’t ask for better care!”
“I have a very shy little rescue dog, part chihuahua and part whippet. She was coddled, loved, walked, and loved for the eight days that I was away. The socialization helped greatly with her shyness and I have no hesitation about having Gabrielle look after her again! Lise A. Belleville”

“Riley had a great time with Tammy. She communicated well, sent plenty of pictures and arranged a meet and greet ahead of time to ensure everyone was comfortable. Would book with her again.”

“Kasi was amazing! My family and I took a 10 day trip down to Florida. Kasi made sure that both myself and my pup felt comfortable before we went away. We did a meet and greet with my boy and her golden, and then we did a full day of doggy daycare. Kasi gave me daily updates and pictures. It was so great to see my boy having such a good time with her golden. I’m so happy we went with Kasi! I will definitely contact her again in the future!”

“Aleksandra took great care of Fiona during her weekend stay. She was responsive and flexible with pickup and drop-off times, and I could tell Fiona had been well looked after. Her calm and steady energy created a peaceful environment, which Fiona definitely appreciated. Thank you again for hosting her!”

“We just cannot thank Elizabeth (Jayne) enough for all the love and attention she gave our old boy, Jack while we were away on vacation. Jayne was happy to be in touch with us and regularly sent pics and videos. Jack doesn’t always do well without us, but he settled in quickly and absolutely loved all the walks, love and attention he got at Jayne’s house! Jack is diabetic so it was such a relief knowing that Jayne had lots of experience giving insulin too. We will most definitely be calling Jayne again! Thank you, Jayne!”

“Alessia was wonderful in watching my dog over a weekend! This was my first time leaving him overnight with someone else and she was amazing in keeping him safe and happy ? I also loved how responsive she was in her responses and appreciated her flexibility when I had to request an additional night for her to watch him. Would highly recommend Alessia’s services and would book with her again!”

“Meaghen and her girls were great with Dyson! He was comfortable and so happy there. We are lucky we found her last minute and she took him in without hesitation. We will definitely ask Meaghen to watch Dyson again during our next stay in Cobourg!”

About: I grew up taking care of animals, inclusive of dogs, cats and goats. I have an affinity with animals and truly enjoy spending time with them. In particular, dogs mean a great deal to me and because I do not have children, dogs have become the object of my love and care and have given that back to me. I have rescued a great deal of domestic and wild animals (raccoons, opossums and a number of birds). I regularly volunteer at the Quinte Humane Society as well. My most recent sits have included large properties in Prince Edward County and Marysville and surrounding areas, with both small dogs, large dogs and multiple pets. I have also taken care of an 80 acre goat farm in Owen Sound for three weeks, taking care of the house and grounds as well. I can also take care of your plants inside and out, garbage and recycling, and am open to other duties that can be discussed at the time of a meet and greet. I always have a meet and greet at least 2 weeks (whenever possible) before my sit, so you can feel comfortable with me, my two little dogs that come with me, and your pets can feel comfortable too! I am a traveler as well and know how important it is to leave one's pet in exceptional care when one is away. I will not only show love and affection to your pet; but as a teacher I value the safety, care and protection of other people's cherished possessions. I have two years experience dog walking, including rescue dogs, as well. Your dogs will be cared for and loved in your own home or in mine, if that is something you choose. I do have two small, (under 6 pounds) female Morkies who will be in my home or coming with me, so your pet will need to be okay in the company of two well behaved, but fun loving dogs. RATE BREAKDOWN: HOUSE/PET SITTING (in your home): $75/24 HOURS for 1st pet $25/24 HOURS for any additional pet PET BOARDING: $65/24 HOURS for 1st pet $35/24 HOURS for any additional pet PET DAYCARE: $50/8 HOURS (Times are flexible - Mon - Fri Only) I am retired I am very flexible in terms of hours/length of time that I can spend with your pet(s) and in your home. I am home often during the evenings and weekends, working on my latest novel and will, like your pet, need breaks to walk, exercise and play with them. I have had dogs all of my life and as a teacher, I am someone who prepares and proactively thinks about the safety and protection of my pets, and this would be the case with yours as well.

“Emily, her partner and Pippy were super welcoming to Reed last weekend! I got updates twice a day with pictures of Reed looking happy and cozy. They seemed lovely and were very accommodating. Will definitely rebook in the future! Thanks again!”

“Zoe was absolutely fantastic! I was very nervous to leave my 3 furry sons, but she constantly reassured me everything would be fine, and sent me pictures and updates daily. When I saw how much fun my sons were having, I felt much more calm. She set everything up for them in her lovely home, and cared so well for them. I absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a critter sitter.”

About: Hi, I’m Jess! I have 9.5 years of professional dog care experience, including daycares, structured on-leash group walks, off-leash park play, boarding, and housesitting. Raised on a farm, I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and share my home with two resident cats. I am incredibly comfortable with all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, from puppies and seniors to special needs. I'm trained in dog reactivity, certified in Pet First Aid, and experienced in administering medications, shots, and flea treatments. I live in a large apartment and typically host a single dog, but I’m open to caring for multiples from the same family if they get along well (complete with a complimentary trial). I always prefer a meet-and-greet first to ensure a perfect fit! I am just a 5 minute walk from a beautiful, very large off-leash dog park that features both an enclosed area and an additional section for pups who need a bit more focused attention. As well as, Delhi Park, Macaulay Mountain or Millenium Trail for hikes. I would love to meet you and your furry friend. I'm available via text or email anytime, so please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions! I am in transition as I just moved back home from Toronto, to Picton. I have full availability, and very capable of meeting your needs to provide the best care. I live with cats, and only take a client at a time, unless further analysis has been done to see compatability. This is for the safety of your pets, and to be leaning on a cautious side.
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brighton
We are so glad that we decided to entrust Kasi to look after our dogs!!! They had never been boarded before and I was a bit apprehensive because one was 10 years old and very set in her ways and the other was a Velcro dog who could get a tad exuberant. But my worries evaporated when I realized that our dogs were being treated like members of Kasi's family! When I asked every few days how they were doing Kasi would immediately send me photos of them having fun playing or enjoying some relaxation on the couch. My husband and I would definitely recommend Kasi to care for your doggos!!!
